You can get some pretty good deals here. Sometime you bring…read morestuff in and you just don't understand why they don't take you perfect items but that's okay. Unfortunately, the man helping us, who said it was his family business, decided to go on a tangent…read moreabout how the neighborhood is horrible and there's drug addicts all the time trying to sell him stolen items, before he even looked at our clothes. This made us super uncomfortable right away. When my sister asked what kind of products they usually buy, he freaked out and said "you're playing games with me and we don't want your stuff. If you brought in coach purses with your clothes, I would consider taking the Anthropologie and Free People as a donation for me to sell in the store". When we asked if he was a manager he said "This is my family's place and technically IM YOUR customer and we don't want to buy from you". He made it appear that this store does not have the funds to pay for items so they are trying to get donations to sell to make money. When my sister apologized, she tried to explain that there must have been some miscommunication about selling because we just wanted to know what products to bring in from home, he kicked us out. We have no idea why he got so angry so fast. We would kindly appreciate the owner to evaluate this associate as it appears they are taking items without purchasing them, and verbally attacking potential/new customers simply for asking what brands and types of products we should bring in to sell. We will tell all our friends and family to stop buying and selling from this establishment due to the disrespect and lack of customer service. Thank you for looking into this.

We stopped by Shirts 'n' Things in Mesa, and this place is pretty cool! The best way I can describe…read moreit is like a massive, much better version of Hot Topic, but geared more toward people who are actually into rock, heavy metal, gothic clothing, and that whole style. First off, this store is huge, and I don't think I've ever seen so many graphic tees in one place in my entire life. Seriously, the amount of shirts they have is insane! If there's a rock or heavy metal band you like, there's a pretty good chance they have a shirt for it. They also have tons of other clothing, studded accessories, and all sorts of things that fit that rock and gothic style. They also have a really good selection of horror movie merchandise. We saw stuff from Terrifier, Scream, Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and plenty of other horror-related items. Beyond the clothing, they have some really cool décor, skulls, insect-themed decorations, and all sorts of unique things you probably aren't going to find at your typical retail store. One thing that stood out to me was the quality of everything. Nothing really looked cheap or chintzy. A lot of the merchandise seemed well made, and you could tell this wasn't just a store full of cheap novelty items. The couple of employees we crossed paths with were really nice and offered to help if we needed anything, which was appreciated. The store itself is packed with merchandise, but that's also part of what makes it fun to walk around and explore. My only minor complaint would be the prices. They're a little on the higher side, but nothing outrageous. You're definitely paying a bit of a small specialty shop premium compared to something you'd pick up at Walmart, but the selection and quality seem to make up for that. Overall, this is a really cool store, even if you're just browsing. If you're into rock, heavy metal, horror movies, or gothic-style clothing and décor, this is definitely a place worth checking out. The selection alone makes it worth a visit!

That was a sign ! I love all of the horror movie items that are here. They have everything from stickers to shirts, to purses, to boots and even things for babies. I also appreciated how 3 employees asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. I was tempted by so many things but didn't get anything this time, maybe next time. I think the prices are reasonable and definitely worth it. This store is so much better than larger chain stores imo too. I highly recommend going if you are into this vibe.

From the moment I got them on the phone, they were super friendly, answered all my weirdly specific hat questions, and made me feel like I'd known them forever. I dropped by that same afternoon with my hat, and the welcome was even warmer in person, they even offered drinks and snacks. Shout out to the "hattender" (is that a thing?) for the great conversation and hat wisdom. Wish I got her name but everyone there ruled. Affordable, easy, and now the only place I'll ever trust with my hats. My prized toppers and I will definitely be back.

The whole experience was exactly what you hope for in a western store: helpful, knowledgeable, and zero pressure. The staff took their time with the hat and made sure it looked right instead of rushing through it. They were also great with the boots, helping me figure out what size actually worked for me across different styles and brands. That part matters because cowboy boot sizing can feel like it was invented by someone who wanted to make online shopping impossible. What I appreciated most was that they weren't pushy. They clearly knew their stuff, explained the differences, and seemed to genuinely enjoy helping me find the right fit. Overall, great local spot if you need hat work, boots, or just want guidance from people who actually understand western wear.

Scottsdale Fashion Square has always held a special place in my heart. I've been coming here since…read moreI was young, and it's been so fun watching the mall evolve throughout the years while continuing to feel like one of Scottsdale's signature destinations. What I love most is the incredible variety. There's an impressive collection of upscale shops and luxury retailers, along with plenty of familiar favorites, boutiques, beauty destinations, and everything in between. Whether I'm browsing the latest designer pieces, treating myself to something special, or simply enjoying a little retail therapy, there's always something that catches my eye. The dining scene is another major highlight. There are so many amazing restaurants and places to grab a bite, making it easy to turn a shopping trip into an entire afternoon or evening out. I love that you can come for a little shopping and end up staying for dinner, drinks, or dessert. The mall itself has that polished Scottsdale atmosphere that makes the experience feel elevated, and there's always a sense of energy and sophistication without it feeling overly formal. It has changed quite a bit since I was younger, but somehow it has maintained the charm that keeps me coming back. If there's one consistent downside, it's the parking. Depending on the day and time, navigating the parking areas can be frustrating, and finding a convenient spot can definitely require some patience. Still, after all these years, Scottsdale Fashion Square remains one of my favorite places to shop, dine, browse, and simply enjoy the Scottsdale experience. It's nostalgic for me, but it continues to offer something new every time I visit.
