Back in October 2025, we transferred to Verizon from another carrier and traded in our phones during the account setup process. We were told to expect a specific amount for our devices and promotional gift cards for being new customers. (This all happened at a different Verizon location.) For some reason, there were issues with receiving the full compensation credit for our trade-in and our gift cards. The Verizon folks we were initially working with at the other location couldn't seem to track where the credit and gift cards went. It was at this point Erik took over our account and made it his mission to get us a resolution. From end of November to end of December 2025, he contacted customer service multiple times on our behalf to track down our missing credit balance. He proactively communicated the progress being made and consistently followed up with us to make sure we really got the credits and the promotional gift cards. While the initial signup was rocky, working with Erik re-instated our confidence in Verizon. He made sure we were heard and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of.

All asking for "diagnostic fees" and have various upsells and fees depending if it had this or that, iRescue was the first spot they seemed so casual.. over the phone he asked for us to just swing by and within 15min he'll know if he can fix it or not. No sales tactics and nothing merely than just a conversation. He told me the price for a screen replacement since he believed (phone unseen at this point) that would most likely be the issue. We ended up waiting a day, then going with iRescue. They ended up replacing the screen and calling us that it's ready for pickup. Although it's not an OEM screen, this merely buys us time until the "latest and greatest" phone is released.

Apparently, I was not getting a new phone even though I was there to pick up a new phone that was mailed there for me to pick up. I was getting an insurance phone that is still under warranty. ? Okay, how was I supposed to know the verbiage they use. Like I told the guy, I was there to pick up a new phone because the phone I bought was acting up and I was getting dropped calls and my phone started to flicker. At the end, we figured it out and he said my phone was there. I was told that I could not take the new phone and do the transfer on my own like I did when I purchased my phone weeks prior. Fast forward, I returned the next day when I had more time and Riyu helped me. Riyu was awesome. He spoke to me clearly on what was going to happen and we did small talk too. He made my exchange smooth. Overall, I'd return to any TMobile store wherever Riyu is working and would recommend asking for him. Customer service was great and everyone was helpful. Stopped by to get my daughter's screen protector replaced since it was cracked all over. One thing I've noticed lately is these newer screen protectors just don't seem to be made as durable as they used to be. It feels like you barely drop your phone once and suddenly there's a full spiderweb crack across it. I highly recommend getting the lifetime screen protector protection and paying the monthly fee because, at least for my family, it's definitely worth it. I'm in T-Mobile replacing screen protectors more often than I'd like to admit

He retained his existing number, so no new line was added despite their claim. This is a deceptive sales tactic designed to evade T-Mobile's own 14-day buyer's remorse policy. This isn't just shady -- it's textbook deceptive sales practice. They now say they will "make it right" but this doesn't change the fact that the employee saw an old guy who came in with a "factory unlocked phone" and told him unlocked phones couldn't be used and sold him a bottom level Samsung instead and is now claiming that David got the phone for free by adding a line (completely false... he didn't have that access.) 0/10 They offered to let him keep the phone and take 100 off the bill. They do have several workers at the location to assist in cable, Internet, and wireless phone service. I had to drop my service because it was just not affordable. They transferred me to the retentions department to see if they could make me a better deal, so that I would remain a customer. I must say that their offers were quite enticing and locked in that rate for 2 years. I was also offered to place my account on a vacation hold. Yet, the rep said I didn't qualify for that because I had already done that. I explained to the rep that my account has never been disconnected or on a vacation hold for the 5 years that I've had the account. I think they may be looking at the address and not the individual at the address, which they should as rental properties will have different individuals including homes being purchased. Hopefully, this will be something they can resolve with their computer system.
