Working with Erik turned our 1 star review into 5 stars with his incredible customer service and help with resolving our account creation issues. Back in October 2025, we transferred to Verizon from another carrier and traded in our phones during the account setup process. We were told to expect a specific amount for our devices and promotional gift cards for being new customers. (This all happened at a different Verizon location.) For some reason, there were issues with receiving the full compensation credit for our trade-in and our gift cards. The Verizon folks we were initially working with at the other location couldn't seem to track where the credit and gift cards went. It was at this point Erik took over our account and made it his mission to get us a resolution. From end of November to end of December 2025, he contacted customer service multiple times on our behalf to track down our missing credit balance. He proactively communicated the progress being made and consistently followed up with us to make sure we really got the credits and the promotional gift cards. While the initial signup was rocky, working with Erik re-instated our confidence in Verizon. He made sure we were heard and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. read more

I'm reviewing this location because of Sergio. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Sergio and ready to assist. I was checking out different iPhones because I was thinking of upgrading. I asked him so many questions and he answered politely on each of them and gave me honest answers and not feeling forceful to upgrade. From my experience, their employees seem completely unmotivated, standing around in store corners, doing anything but helping customers. There's no urgency, no courtesy, and definitely no accountability. Let me put it in perspective: I placed a pickup order and it took over 48 hours to prepare--for something already in stock. Meanwhile, I can get a hot meal from DoorDash in 25 minutes. How does a tech giant lose to a food delivery app in logistics? The customer experience is just plain bad. The support feels robotic, disinterested, and unhelpful--whether in-store or on the phone. There's a growing sense that Verizon doesn't value its customers anymore. If you want to scammed out of your money go there. I came to this Verizon store ready to switch from AT&T because Verizon advertised "4 iPhone 17 Pro on us for $25 a line." The LED sign in the store said the same. I even showed the rep the sign, but she denied the deal five different times--first saying it was $30 unless I bring my own device, then claiming it was only online, then pivoting into a $20 online discount, then insisting it was only for veterans, and finally saying she'd "see if I can get you the discount." When I asked for a manager, I was told he was in a meeting. Ten minutes later, the manager--Steve, who had been standing there doing nothing--finally came over only to say he doesn't deal with customers and handed me a generic corporate number. That's not customer service, that's a scam. Verizon is lying to customers right off the bat. If you want to be misled, denied, and treated with contempt, go see Steve at this store. I had to come back as switching to Verizon means I don't even have a hotspot and twitter or their support phone number couldn't fix the issue. I no longer have WiFi at home as I already pay for that and cable in Florida which I stream here in LV so not enough to buy separate WiFi. Nobody told me that wouldn't be included if I switched plans. Nobody on twitter or the support number could tell me that. I had to drive back to the store to one employee that actually knew what she was doing (Amanda) to tell me. What a waste of time. read more

She needs to fix her attitude before she upsets the wrong people. She did not resolve my friend's issue so we left and went to the Boca Park location where we received better and more efficient service. read more

If I could give this shit show, Dumpster fire of a carrier company 0 stars then I would. Woke up and decided to buy a prepaid phone plan only to realize that I had purchased the wrong one. Okay, I figure I'll just idk - call back and upgrade my plan. NO apparently NOT. Not only could they not find my account in their system(the account that I had just set up) but I was passed around on hold 6 times and EVERY time these stupid MF 's disconnected the call . At some point between my many many calls I decided that I didn't want to deal with this anymore and I just wanted to cancel the plan I had purchased-ALSO NO. Everytime I mentioned cancelling the plan or a refund they would disconnect the call as if they were told "by all means, we do not give refunds" I FINALLY Got a hold of someone competent enough to process my demand(bcs I was done requesting shit and being nice) and refund, and although I haven't received it yet. I will NEVER EVER EVER again get a plan with Verizon, and you shouldn't either. read more

I had a new iPhone purchased the same day from Apple. I was in the store over 1.5 hours while the sales guy tried to port my number and get the phone on the network. The effort was not successful, but the sales guy tried everything. It was not his fault and I appreciated the effort. So why the bad rating? The manager. While this major problem was ongoing, the manager could not be bothered. The sales guy repeatedly called the manager for help, but the manager clearly wanted nothing to do with us. Once when the sales guy called the manager, the manager said "I'm busy". He was standing with another employee and a customer and they were discussing their favorite YouTube videos. Seriously annoying given how long I was there. Finally the sales guy apologized and let the manager know they would need to refund my money. The manager started working on it but the YouTube customer came over and started peppering him with questions and so he switched to talking to him and neglected my refund. Super crazy annoying. Came in to look for an upgrade to my s9+, after looking around I had decided to move to up to the S20 Ultra. I had asked about the phone and if there were any specials for upgrading and so on, I was assured that there was a $200 discount for day one purchase and a other $15] for the s9+ trade in. We wait u til the next day for launch day, and after jumping hoops to get the correct to authorization on the account, I was a single step away from purchasing said phone until I was informed that the discount only applies to business accounts and the only other available discount was for the s20 +. As lovely as the woman was, excellent conversationalist, I left utterly disappointed and had even ordered from amazon a new case and screen protector the day prior, which I am returning the next day. I will be sticking with my s9+ for another year, unfortunately. read more

I cancelled my Verizon WIFI service on a 30 day trial notice and returned their equipment. Verizon billed me for the first month service, then pulled $200.00 dollars from my bank account claiming they did not receive the equipment back. I have been to the Corp. store on N. Rainbow blvd and I have had 0 luck in reversing the charges. The manager Mike assured me that it was resolved, then I get $158.00 pulled again so back I go, and the next manager I talked to I showed her the tracking number, so she calls customer service and talks to some dude Mario, who can't figure out how to back out the charges, so he tells the manager, he will call me the next day and refund the money. Guess what, no phone call. The management at the store could care less if you are not buying a phone, they don't get commission from a cancelling customer. So now I file a charge with the FCC and BBB they have to respond by law. read more

Today I had taken the 5G equipment to the store to return as I was directed to when I disconnected the device and service online. I experienced the worst customer service. The guy who checked me in was nice but the guy who helped me said that since it was already disconnected, I would have to ship it back to Verizon. Now I am thinking Verizon is one big company why would it matter if returned to store or shipped back. After as I was doing what I was directed. I did not say anything. He continued to look up my account and say well he could ship it back and he hopes they don't charge me. In my response I say well you have the equipment. As I was leaving the guy who checked me in says sorry. I used to work for the company for 11 years, back when they were still Airtouch. I have had my service with Verizon for 24 years I have 6 lines. The service I received in the store is unacceptable and has me seriously thinking about changing providers. After my experience in the store, I feel the company could care less to lose my business. This is the location that I am always passing by so it tends to be the one that I've used the most over the past 10 years living in Las Vegas. I've had Verizon FOREVER and although the company isn't perfect, it has been very good to me and my family. I've never had a problem at this location. I am always greeted immediately upon entry. I get put in queue and I usually don't wait long. I am always treated politely and professionally. Although I don't remember their names, the faces there become more and more familiar which tells me that staff retention is high. I've upgraded several phones here and I even bought a drone camera here too. How cool. read more

This place does not deserve even one star. We went in to buy a new phone. We were the only customers and had to wait outside to get in, although this took only a few minutes. However, the purchase took several hours, even though we knew exactly what we wanted. There was absolutely no seating available for this long wait. Also, we were denied the use of their restroom, which is a basic human right. We were told the Restrooms were only for their employees, and it was suggested that we leave the store and walk across the parking lot to a nearby restaurant. When I complained about the lack of seating and no restroom, they stated this was due to COVID restrictions. No dept store, food store or any other public business has ever closed off their restroom. Also the large empty showroom lent itself to several chairs 6 ft apart. If we had not already paid, we would have left this dismally-managed store. read more

This is a little late from the date of my experience. I went in last month to get with a better provider and purchase a new phone. My mom just purchased her iphone and my brother's at an incredible price with a plan. The gentleman helping me talked about the edge plan and the benefits, if which worked better for me. Now, I was directed to an iphone 5C as the price for it was just a slight bit more, and hey "it looks cooler." So I went with it, and love it. Now onto the bad: The guy had no idea what was happening after running my credit, the prices weren't matching what was advertised. The wait was ridiculous, they had a promo for the screen protector, case, and car charger for 49.99....but surprise surprise what I needed was out of stock, and my purchase took over an hour to complete. Lastly, I will admit that I did not research the phones prior to my visit (they had an affordable and reliable phone and I wanted it!) so come to find out, over a visit with my fam last week, what the C in 5C stood for. Granted my case covers my phone, but what the actual eff? I felt like this should have been something the sales guy should have mentioned. read more

Bought a replacement HTC Incredible 2 for $140.00 on 4/18/12. By 5/29/12, phone was not starting up. Tech support tried to force a lesser phone down my throat since they no longer have Incredible 2 in stock. Went to the store to seek fairness and was given a "one-time offer" to BUY another phone for $190 (I think) as an "early upgrade." This was not acceptable. All I have been looking for was fairness in the form of an equivalent replacement phone with an 8MP camera and CDMA/GSM capabilities. In any case, the manager "Terry", I think, logged that my phone is damaged which (even after they were still willing to provide the lessor replacement phone) has now invalidated my warranty. Ok, wow! I'm in Las Vegas from Southern California and my phone went black. I didn't know why. I walked into this Verizon feeling desperate for help. immediately I was helped by Santo. His expertise and kindness went miles for me. He not only helped with existing problem, he helped me with my update. Ken was amazing too. He was helpful to my friend who was with me. Terrible customer service from the district manager to the salespeople. They don't know how to treat loyal, paying customers, and to top it off, they know nothing about the products they sell. They charge your account with items you didn't purchase to boost their sales and commission. They relish in condescending and combative behavior towards their customers and think any of their valid concerns are laughable. They believe that responding to a customer's question with an 'I don't know' is acceptable, and make you feel idiotic for wanting something more concrete. Follow up? Nope. Here they believe in an out of sight, out of mind attitude. Just went into the store to try to get help on my iPhone that suddenly turned off and wouldn't turn back on. Stephen was my customer rep. and after he tried to turn it back on he said that I would need new iPhone and that the insurance would cover it. During the whole process he was rude and condescending. To the point were I told him to cancel the whole thing that I would go to the Boca Park store to receive actually customer care service. Arguably some of the worst customer service (and salesmanship) that I've ever experienced from a major company. Headed in to this store to get an upgrade on my phone. The three employees talking amongst themselves acted like I had ruined their lunch break or something by politely asking someone to help me. I don't know the name of the one who did end up speaking with me - he certainly didn't ask for mine. I gathered he was a fairly new employee from how the others were talking with him. And that's fine. Everyone's new at some point, and I don't mind things taking a little longer. What was unacceptable was the level of condescension and apathy that characterized the whole visit. When I asked him to show me a few phones, not only did he not properly explain the differences of each, he acted like the entire process was a chore. Every time I asked a question, he gave me a look like "are you serious?" I could practically hear his eyes rolling when I asked him to further explain financing. The sheer amount of condescending looks and remarks made "Do you get it NOW?," "I can't POSSIBLY explain it any better than I just have," was just mind-boggling to me. I'm here to spend a few hundred dollars, a few thousand really, on your products and services. You would think I rate a little more consideration than you typical fast food customer. Frankly, if it wasn't for the time invested to that point I would have walked out. Never at any point of the visit did I feel the man was truly interested in helping me. He did seem to be a little more friendly near the end of the visit (presumably when he saw the numbers on the receipt), but ultimately? Too little too late. Going to the cell phone store is usually a true test of one's patience. Long wait times, less than knowledgeable staffs and high priced equipment. For the longest time the Verizon store at Rainbow and Charleston fit this description to a tee, but lately it seems that they have worked to change that business model. One of the things that have changed at this location is that upon entering the store you are immediately approached by an employee who asks what you are there for. This allows them to route you to the appropriate person to help you. This little change in the way business is done seems to have expedited the process. All in all you are still going to the cell phone store which is only fun if you are getting a new device. Outside of that, it's like getting a root canal. Thankfully Verizon Wireless has attempted to make experience less painful than it had previously been. BTW, I've had service from several carriers and Verizon has given me the best service I've ever had. Less dropped calls and coverage in places like my cabin in the mountains of Utah. read more

I would have given this location a no star if it wasn't for Steve (their rep). Steve proved great service when I was in the store and got me what I needed. Long story short, VZ sent me an extra iPad by mistake and I got a call from Liz from the store about their mistake. That was last week, I told Liz that I'm on business travel and won't be back until late Friday and will bring the iPad back in on Saturday. Then I got a message on my phone from some guy name Michael from the store on Friday threatening me that he will charge my account with the cost of the iPad if I don't bring it back by Friday close of business. The tone and impression I got were not a one of friendly reminder kind. That call wasn't cool at all . . . Michael should learn some customer service skills before dealing with customers. This location can be the best VZ store ever, but a single bad experience is what customers will ALWAYS remember first. read more
