Back in October 2025, we transferred to Verizon from another carrier and traded in our phones during the account setup process. We were told to expect a specific amount for our devices and promotional gift cards for being new customers. (This all happened at a different Verizon location.) For some reason, there were issues with receiving the full compensation credit for our trade-in and our gift cards. The Verizon folks we were initially working with at the other location couldn't seem to track where the credit and gift cards went. It was at this point Erik took over our account and made it his mission to get us a resolution. From end of November to end of December 2025, he contacted customer service multiple times on our behalf to track down our missing credit balance. He proactively communicated the progress being made and consistently followed up with us to make sure we really got the credits and the promotional gift cards. While the initial signup was rocky, working with Erik re-instated our confidence in Verizon. He made sure we were heard and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of.

They apparently accessed the account using the primary account holders PIN (my mom's law office) without permission to vague the purchase and misrepresented a paid-in-full device purchase as "service" in order to deny a return. He retained his existing number, so no new line was added despite their claim. This is a deceptive sales tactic designed to evade T-Mobile's own 14-day buyer's remorse policy. This isn't just shady -- it's textbook deceptive sales practice. They now say they will "make it right" but this doesn't change the fact that the employee saw an old guy who came in with a "factory unlocked phone" and told him unlocked phones couldn't be used and sold him a bottom level Samsung instead and is now claiming that David got the phone for free by adding a line (completely false... he didn't have that access.) 0/10 They offered to let him keep the phone and take 100 off the bill. I never gave them a card, I always make my payments over the app. This man who would not say his name for me said I have to come in the store for this. I asked why we can't just make sure my account is in good standing and he hung up on me and hung up on me without even saying hello the 2 times I called back. My son worked at this store for 2 and a half years. We know the owner Elver but this was not Elver. This was a rude person for no reason. Is this how Metro allows their employees to treat 2 phone paying customers of 12 years. I will just find a new provider. Totally unprofessional for no reason. I was calm and polite.

Took my phone in yesterday Thursday June 25th because my phone insurance company "Assurant" set up…read morean appointment at this store to have my screen fixed on my Samsung S22, it was purely cosmetic damage and the phone was in completely working condition. Glen told me it would be ready in about an hour, came back after an hour and he told me that there was bad news, my phone was completely black screened but he would try to fix it and to give him about another 20 minutes. He was able to get the phone back on but absolutely no pressure could be put on the phone or it would go black screen again. Even joked that it should be carried it in a pillow. He told me to call the insurance and state the phone screen had been repaired but there was water damage and they would send me a replacement. He told me to call on Monday. Mind you I would have to pay 89$ for a new one to be sent which he didn't bother to disclose. Well I called the insurance company, today Friday and told them the truth of what happened and they informed me that I would have to deal with the store since they caused the problem. Went back to the store today and Glen was there at the front desk again, only to be told it basically wasn't their problem and they were not willing to do anything to rectify the problem they caused. This is not ethical telling me to A. Lie about the situation they caused, or B. Not willing to take responsibility for what they did. Just know if they mess up your phone they will NOT take care of the issue and you will be left with a phone that is not in the condition it came in.
