When I told them the part was less then $10 they told me that was an assumption on my part...like I hadn't looked up on the web first. If they have to diagnose something they are entitled to a reasonable fee for their time. $150 isn't a reasonable fee and the broken power connector was clear for any idiot to see. IMHO If they don't trust their customers to pay them for good service after it's done, apparently they have a problem providing it.

The phone was working great, I was happy with the work for 2.5 weeks up until yesterday(April 2) I noticed the black line screen damaged and went back to ask the technician if the work guaranteed or warranty for 30 days at least? They replied that can replace another screen with $100 discount which required another new screen put on for another $300 something. They were kind enough to gave me an iPhone charger for free and suggested I should just bring out my old iPhone 7 to use if I didn't repair my phone this time as my alternative. With this economy and specially money didn't grow out of the tree. It's a no-no for me to spend another $300 in less than a month would you? If you want to get anything repaired from this place. Please have it in writing for how long they will warranty their work. Or just put a bandage or a duct tape on it might be smarter move than me.

I took my iPad into this location with a shattered screen, they repaired it for what I heard from other people after the fact told me was too costly, I repair appeared fine until this horizontal line showed up across my screen shortly after. I took my iPad back to this location and they said they won't cover the new damage that wasn't there before under the warranty they provide. But I say again the horizontal damage was not there nor was it done by me. "Fixmygadget" at 1444 E Charleston Blvd knowingly bought it even though it was locked and marked stolen. Ever since, I've been getting nonstop scam calls from rotating numbers--some with creepy white noise or robotic voices, clearly using a voice-manipulation machine. They're trying to trick me into removing the iCloud lock so they can flip the phone. What's worse? I've also experienced attempted identity fraud shortly after this--silent calls, phishing attempts, and suspicious activity that makes me believe they or someone they work with is harvesting personal info from stolen devices. I'm not the only one. Read the reviews--multiple people say their phones were stolen and suddenly showed up here, followed by scam calls. This is more than a sketchy repair shop. It's a front for trafficking stolen phones and committing fraud. I've reported this to Apple, the FTC, and the Las Vegas Police. Stay far away. This place should be shut down. They're gonna get a nice visit from metro soon haha.
