My second weekend in a row to go to boomerang without being served last weekend, I went there. I waited about 15 minutes. Nobody even acknowledge me. I got up and left and went to a competitor,.today I went in there same time about 8:15. I only saw one person walk around helping people so I'm assuming they're under staff but I can't wait till 30/40 minutes to get my food .I sat there for about 20 minutes and I got up and left. I never was acknowledged and my table was dirty. I've eaten here several times. I enjoy the food but I think they're going downhill because they have no help. Somethings going on And I won't be back. While out of town we stopped at this Diner since it said 4.5 stars .. now we know why it's rated so high .. The breakfast food we got was awesome & not greasy and the fried pies are made to order and OMG they are delicious . The staff are just as awesome too.. thank you so much for being so friendly and not make us feel like we are bothering you when we ask for stuff (like refills or a container) that just makes it feel like going out to eat for us ( since most places nowadays are rude). My husband and I just ate at Boomerang Diner in Wagoner, OK. It was awesome! I got the Bacon Cheeseburger. There were 2 huge, thick pieces of bacon on this burger. The bacon stuck out on both ends of the burger. It looked like a whale laying across my burger. My husband got the KV burger. Both burgers were hot off the grill and topped with all the fixings. I had a side of fried okra and it was hot and tasty! My husband made his order into a burger basket with fries. Great food, cute atmosphere, great service and all at a great price! read more

Am I a fan? Really? Let me tell you about this place. 1/2 price burgers on Mondays. I tried the Patty Melt. It was crispy Rye bread, the meat was cooked to perfection, juicing out the bottom. Yes, I said juicing. The cheese melted and the onions. OMG I want one now. It was that good. I added Onion Rings and they were crispy golden brown and crunchy. When I bit down it was the perfect bite. My co worker had french fries and she said it reminded her of the original B.K. french fry. (She was right) When in Wagoner, try this place out. It has a 1950's diner feel to it and the staff is friendly as ever. read more

This is a fun little place in Wagoner, OK. The decor is Elvis and the 50s. Very cute. Even has rubber ducks of Elvis! Bill and I both order the burgers. I got mine with onion rings; he got his with french fries. The buns were toasted just a bit, which made the sandwich tasty, but full of calories. They offer both 1/4 pound and 1/2 pound versions. We got the 1/4 pound and it was more than enough. The onion rings very very good; not too greasy. I especially liked the coffee! They also offer chicken fried steak, which looked delicious! Service was with a smile. Even when a big crowd came in, the servers helped each other out so that no one was left unattended. This restaurant has a very fun, casual atmosphere.They even have my favorite mints which I used to get a Charlestons, but they quit carrying. For this type of restaurant, I give it five stars. It's not gourmet dining, but if you want a good hamburger, yummy dessert, and good service, check it out! FYI: They take Master Card and Visa, but no discover. read more

I visit the Boomerang often. My favorite is the KV burger. The daily specials are great also. They cook the food on ordering and bring it to you hot. You can tell the ground beef is fresh and not frozen patties like the fast food places. The wait staff is always friendly and keeps your drink full. read more

As an out-of-towner, this is a cute diner but my burger was very much like a whataburger and thin and kind of bland. I could have used more BBQ sauce on the hickory and cheddar burger. It was warm and gone before I knew it though so I guess there was something delicious about it. :) read more

The food is always excellent here. Great classic American diner with mostly prompt service. It does get busy on the weekends with the church crowd, which is to be expected. The burger baskets are a good deal, and the biscuits and gravy are pretty good. Overall a welcome addition to the lackluster dining options in Wagoner. They seem to have it together and put out a good product. Would recommend to anyone. read more

Delicious Diner Food! Between the six of us, we had the Catfish Basket served with hush puppies, okra, and slaw. The cornmeal batter was crisp and the fish was fresh and tender. Absolutely delicious! The Frito Pie was good, but nothing special, The Ruben Sandwich was great, The Chicken Strips were wonderful, hand battered, and served with the most amazing deep fried biscuit, The Footlong Chili Cheese Dog was also delicious as were the fried pickles! I would DEFINITELY recommend this place if you're passing through. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt! Overall a great experience! read more

This little diner has the best chicken fried steak around! After trying their Monday night hamburger specials, which are laudable, my son and I decided to try the CFS and were blown away -- thin, crispy and succulent, with ample amounts of cream gravy, it literally filled the whole plate! Great mashed potatoes, awesome coleslaw and perfectly grilled Texas toast -- so much food that I had to take about half the steak home in a doggie bag (which I happily enjoyed for lunch the next day!). In addition to our meal, we opted to try the deep fried pickles. To say they were delicious would be an understatement: they were better than the ones I remember eating as a teenager when I worked at Sonic, which is saying a lot! The waitresses are super friendly and very accommodating and it's got a kitschy 50's diner decor going on -- I love the retro vibe and the great music they play overhead which harkens back to a more innocent time. If you like Elvis, the Beatles and other such music, you will enjoy this place for sure! The prices are reasonable and you will certainly leave full, because the portions are perfect. Also, I love their pinto beans and cornbread -- almost as good as grandma used to make! I consider this diner to be a little gem among all of the fast food places here in Wagoner; it's a sweet alternative to consider in lieu of all the trash joints out on the highway! My husband and I stopped by on our way to joplin, mo. Wow! Hamburgers are thin and crispy and the buns are toasted. Very very good! We love our burgers like that. Onion rings were not greasy at all. Just about 1 mile off highway 69. Highly recommend and very affordable. read more

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in town! The parking lot is a bit small, however I'm just glad to see a business like such take the intuitive to make such an old building still serve a purpose! (Not to mention you can usually park anywhere along the street and walk to the restaurant). The food is awesome and the service is great!
