I had a rough time deciding how many stars to give this place. On one hand the menu greatly outshines its boring exterior. In fact once inside you realize that the tackiness of this place is well up to par. I love tacky and boom has got it. The menu is pretty killer. All kinds of good ideas and creativity in there. And the staff was fantastic. Super nice and helpful and when they gave me my change, it included a dollar bill that said "bONEr" on it. I thought I was in for the meal of my life. Then the food came. Burger and onion rings were good. Quesadilla and fries were very average. Fried oreos were expensive and not that interesting. But to cut to the chase, I spent $55 on lunch and they refused to give me a cup of tap water on a hot day. They made a point of saying that they are not required to provide free water and that only bottled water is available to customers. It may not be the law, but I have *never* been refused water in a restaurant or fast food joint before, ever. I won't be going back to Boomburger. read more

Ithis place is amazing. after giving up on the super busy Sunday brunch crowds at the local diners, (we were just visiting the hamptons) we found this gem through a local yelp search. we were pleased to see the place wasn't packed despite the nearly 5 star rating, and the sweet checkered floors and comic book decor was completely perfect. i'm vegan, so I passed up their veggie patty (that's made with cheese) and went for the gourmet veggie wrap (minus the feta), with +mushrooms and avocado. seriously, this is one of the few places that i could actually FIND the avocado on my wrap. needless to say, it was delicious, and came out superfast. i tasted my husband's home fries, and they were equally tasty. i give this place 5 stars for great service, atmosphere and food. read more

Burger places are one in a million on Long Island, so it takes something to stand out. Boom burger isn't pretentious and priced reasonably. What is done right is excellent burgers, excellent fries, great wings and even better shakes! They do have a wide variety of imaginative burgers, but I went with the standard cheeseburger and it was delicious. Will definitely be making this West Hampton stop! Be warned, the place was crowded for lunch on a Saturday in January; I can't imagine the crowds in summer, call ahead! read more

Boom Burger was a great stop on the way home from the beach. Very casual and they have a cool vibe going on with the comic book theme...nice to see something a bit different. Burgers were really tasty and juicy while the fries were crispy and fresh. My 2 yo beasted her hot dog. The honey chipotle sauce on the boneless chicken wings was really good but the chicken itself might be my only complaint as they were maybe a teeny tiny bit on the dry side. Next time I'd go for wings on the bone. The service was friendly and the food was up quickly. They were happy to give us an extra two servings of ranch dressing when we ran out. Stopped here on our way back from east-end apple and pumpkin picking. Thanks to yelp and other reviewers, we were able to experience this place too. So happy we stopped. The choices are overwhelming and portion sizes are HUGE. Really unique offerings (fried pickle wedges, Nutella shakes, etc.) If I knew the portions were so large, I wouldn't have gotten the extra side of fries/tater tots for the kids -- way too much (not complaining, mind you). They could have had 1/2 my fries and we still would have had some left over. Burgers cooked to perfection... juicy and flavorful. After spending the afternoon watching the seals, we discovered boom burger. We were at first hesitant to go in because it is a very small place that looked empty at 4 pm. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try and really enjoyed our burgers. We walked in and saw a large menu selection of burgers, wings, sweets and milkshakes. It took us a few minutes to browse the menu and choose from so many delicious options. There were a bunch of speciality burgers to choose from. We tried the avocado crunch and the cheeseburger club. Both were full of flavor and very satisfying. We also got a side of fried pickle spears, they were also so good. They were crisp and crunchy and was served with a side of ranch dressing. As we sat in the small restaurant enjoying our burgers we noticed a constant flow of customers coming in to place takeout orders, pick up their orders or sit down and eat their meal. By the look of this place from the outside and inside you would never believe the food would be this good but to our surprise, we really enjoyed our meal and plan to visit again the next time we are in West Hampton. read more

First time at Boom Burger and I was not disappointed...at all. The decor of the restaurant was fun!! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. After ordering from the menu, you can sit and the food is brought to your table. Now the important part, the food. I love spicy food so I ordered 5-piece "abusive" wings. There were also suicidal but i played it safe. The wings were great exactly how I like them. Perfect amount of sauce with a great kick and a crisp skin. I also ordered a single cheeseburger with cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and Boom Boom Sauce. The burger was delicious! Served on a potato bun, it was just what I needed. The fries were also great, and my friend who ordered the sweet potato fries loved them as well. The menu was pretty big with burgers (singles, doubles, & triples) wings, hot dogs, and they even serve breakfast sandwiches with deliciously salty hash browns and tots! They ALSO have dessert including ice cream and zeppoles. If I had any room in my tummy for more I would've indulged.
