NO CASH RESTAURANT NO BURRITO for me :(

This is for boojum in Kevin Street. Absolute disaster. Ordered and waited for food only to be told they don't accept CASH. No other way of paying. No signs anywhere. Staff member couldn't have cared less that I had to leave with no burrito and the food wasted. Very bad form.

The lines can be a killer at lunch times but this place is worth the wait. It's all about the freshness here for me, their burritos and bowls just taste mega and you won't be left feeling queasy after chowing down on one of these bad boys. Nothing more to say about this place that hasn't already been said, for me it's easily the best Mexican fast-food in Dublin. They do a great deal for €6.75 for a burrito/bowl/salad and drink for students too, so stellar value on top of unbelievable taste. Boojum you're the best aaaarrrouuunddd, nothing's gonna ever bring yooouuu down.... takes a lot for me to break into song for a review; 'nuff said really.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place until now, how could I forget the wonders of Boojum! Despite being a native Boltonian, I actually moved to Dublin straight from Arizona and for those of you that don't know, Arizona has a large Mexican population. Now with that, Mexican food is rife in AZ and good Mexican food at that and I'd developed a quite prominent addiction to Burritos, so I was slightly worried upon moving back this side of the pond - I needn't have been! Boojum does fantastic burritos and filling at that! I'd obviously go dead simple with my choices; chicken Mexican rice gauc cheese sour cream, yet it would taste unbelievable! The only downside is that it was located on my walk home from the office, so I ended up having Boojum a good 3 times a week.. The place is as you would expect for a Mexican burrito place in regards to the subway style of ordering, all the ingredients you need are also at your disposal!

I was taken here by a mate in Dublin and whoop-hooop-hahh it was really good! Ok so maybe it's more of a hipster/chainy type of burrito place than a family fun mama from Mexico city joint but I liked it. It was supposedly first set up in Belfast (thanks for the burrito history lesson Stevie M) so good to see they've gone 'international' already! The usual counter ordering is in place, standard ingredients too but they seem to get them all tasting lovely and inventive. The Mexican street rice was lovely, guac right on the money and the barbacoa melt in the mouth! It also had delightful salsa verde and cheese and sour cream that perfectly complimented everything. Drinks, location, staff and vibe ticked all the boxes for me - and it was really filling without being too stuffing. for around 7 euros I was in a burrito lead dreamland! I'd love to do a taste test of this alongside Little Ass Burritos down the road - sounds like a dream afternoon to me!

Boojum has been known as the undisputed king of burritos ever since the burrito craze took hold of Dublin and with very good reason. This is the second Boojum in Dublin to open and it seems they've managed to replicate everything good that came with the first one. The staff are cool & kinda hipster, gives a mellow vibe to the place. The interior is relaxed & casual with your usual array of benches to sit down on. The real star of the show is the food, and it can be hard to really pinpoint where everything goes so right. The rice in the burrito is always moist and flavoursome, the vegetables taste fresh and it usually all holds together without getting too sloppy. They're also absolutely massive so prepare to be more than full when you're done. Boojum is up there as one of the top burrito joints in Dublin, they do more than enough right to make you clamour for more. When you start comparing it to the other top burrito joints like Little Ass or Pablo Picante, it really starts becoming more about taste than anything. And for me personally, Boojum is more my taste than the other two. In short: One of the best burrito/mexican food experiences you can find and is definitely worth your money if you're craving some great, filling food.

This is the real deal. This right here. Seriously authentic and everything a transplanted Southern Californian-er has been desperately searching for. Trust me when I say: this place is legit. While I feel like other places are good in their own interpretation of "Mexican food", Boojum hits all the right notes in all the right ways. All the flavors are dead on and what I remember (and crave) from back home. I've had many-a-burrito and Boojum delivers everything that I love, and miss, about Mexican food: the rice, the Guac, the marinade for the chicken, the selection of hot sauces... it's like a little slice of California for me, and I will be back... often. The prices are fantastic and you couldn't ask for more quality or quantity for your money. One of the most important details about this place is that they stuff the burrito so much it barely closes when wrapped... Boojum, please never change!! ...unless you make the change to offer delivery ;)

Some say this is the best burrito place in Dublin! I quite agree! I have been here twice already and every time I feel like eating Mexican- I think of Boojum. If only I lived closer. The burritos are awesome! The Mexican rice is yummy so are their salsas. They have 6+ varieties of sauces(on the dine-in table) if you want to add the extra spice to your food. Very filling and HUGE portions. Talking about it makes me hungry....hmm... I must pay a visit again. After all, its great food and kind to your wallet at the same time!

Delicious and Filling! Dublin has very much gone Burrito crazy in the past few years with a huge amount of selection to choose from. Boojum is one of the stars with streamlined food served in record time. They have an army of wonderful friendly staff pumping out the burrito's, which is needed as lunch time here you'll find queues stretching around the corner! It's a simple step by step process and yet I always seem to find myself unable to decide. The choice is tough! "To Burrito or Burrito Bowl, that is the question!" Be careful of this place now some say the addiction is "stronger than that of Class A drugs" with the hoards gathering outside their doors at 11:30AM eagerly awaiting the doors to swing open at 12:00 whilst drooling all over Kevin street, I'm inclined to agree.

If you're looking for a feed, 100% recommend. Best burrito in Dublin and the best portion sizes ever. The greatest post workout meal of all time. The staff are always super friendly and never skimp on your order. Delira.

So far this has been the best burrito I've had in Dublin. I'm writing this a few minutes before leaving the house to go back there, so that says something I guess! Everyone talks about the burrito bowl, and I plan on having one eventually, but I love me a good standard burrito. You get plenty of choice for what to fill that tortilla with, different types of beans, rice, meats, etc. so you never get bored! I got the chilli and an extra of peppers and onions, so I kept mine very traditional, but I'm planning on mixing it up right now. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the place has a great vibe to it. It really is an overall awesome place!

An excellent setup here at Boojum Kevin Street. A cunning plan by them setting up here, beside Wexford Street and Camden Street, to pounce on the pre-drinking crowd before they shut at 9pm. There's also the Kevin Street and Aungier Street DIT colleges nearby to feed come September. Cunning plan indeed, so cunning, if you put a tail on it, you could call it a fox. Entering at the right hand door, follow the one way system from food to drinks to till to seats. The seating area is spacious, with high tables and chairs brightly decorated. The floors and walls are similarly decorated. But not blindingly bright. I like it, a lot. Nice decor. Now to the food, I went for a burrito. It was good, lots of it too. But I always fall for chilli con carne. Then when it comes to eating it, I wish I'd gone for the pork or chicken. Food envy, typical. The salsa was the spicy one and it was really tasty, full of flavour. I wouldn't have minded it being a bit hotter though. That said all the tables have a selection of hot sauces that you can add to your food. The staff were all lovely and really enthusiastic. Best of luck to them, but I don't think they'll need it. Everyone's been talking about the new Boojum on Kevin Street.

Loving the interior and the burrito was awesome.

Nice burrito place this.Very popular indeed as well. i had a pork burrito with the medium salsa.very nice. The interior was pretty funky as well. very well designed. Staff were friendly which is nice. Gotta say i think the burrito market is becoming a bit saturated now though!

No complaints here- probably my second favorite burrito bar in Dublin right now. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful and the place has a good vibe. Very Chipotle-esque in their approach and look. €6:50 for a decent size burrito and i don't feel like I have eaten a small child. There can be a line during lunch time so try to get there around 12:30.

It will be prepared right in front of you and then off you go with a little bundle of deliciousness. I had brown rice, black beans, and barbacoa and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The service is great and friendly as well...really nice feel here. They had a 2-for-1 promotion running and allowed me to partake even though I hadn't printed out the voucher (environmentalism for the win!). The staff aren't the smiley, happy people I would expect working at a restaurant like this but I'm gonna say that they were maybe having a bad day? Maybe it was the weather? Who knows. There's not much customer seating available so I had to take mine to go. Probably best, though, it's a messy aul thing to chow down on and sitting beside some randoms while I try to graciously gobble this down wouldn't have been my idea of fun! When I finally got around to eating it, I was very happy with it. It was huge, very tasty and filling. If the staff were a little more friendly and there was more seating, this experience could have gotten a 5*!

It felt at first like a punition to me, since the last one I had at pablo picante was disgusting and I really did not wanted to live that again. But I decided to give it a try, maybe this one would be better ? I took one with marinated chicken, cilantro and lime rice, kidney beans, and avocado ("verde") sauce, when it came, the box was looking a bit small and they were a thick green sauce covering all of it. But as soon as I tried I was very pleased by its taste. The green sauce was really good and not sickly at all. The meat was great and actually it was very very good. An awesome surprise, it really reconciled me with burritos ! If I had only one critical to do, it would be that I would have add a bit of cilantro and lime to my rice.
