Very nice pizza place in Rathgar. We came in because there was a fire at Monelli's & Coman's. The place is very clean, and the staff is quite friendly. The owner Paul is quite accommodating. I had a salad and the mac & cheese. Loved it. My husband ordered a fire baked pizza and he said it was very good. They offer beer, wine, and dessert. We look forward to going back

Butter. Scotch. Pudding. Got that? Good. I could go on forever telling you of the wonderfully friendly staff, the pop-up like surroundings or the great atmosphere. I could tell you about the wonderful pulled pork sliders I had, nearly toppling over had it not been for the wooden steak holding their contents together. Or even the gorgeous taco's we had for €4 each on Taco Tuesday (recommended!), three each and we still probably could have had another. No, let me instead tell you of the most beautiful desert I have ever had....the butterscotch pudding. A three-hit combo of pudding/ice cream (maple, I think) and hot chocolate sauce that feels like so sugary, so bad...but so right.... I dream of going back there simply for the desert. You should go, simply for the desert. Whenever the wind blows, I will hear the name: Butterscotch Pudding.

I have only eaten the food from here as a takeaway from deliveroo but it was very impressive! (Also, about 25 mins for a delivery, unreal?!) Slightly on the expensive side for a takeaway, which is why I have docked a star, but the pizza and truffle chips were to die for! Would love to try the restaurant itself, it's always busy enough whenever I pass by! UPDATE: went for dinner here about a month ago and have decided to up to a 5 star. Everything was perfect, the service, food, drink selection, setting, comfort. Would highly recommend. Myself and my brothers had pizza while my dad had the fish tacos, which looked unreal.

So it might not be fair to rate a restaurant based on their delivery food but pizza should be the one exception, right? I ordered food from here a few weeks ago and was really excited based on the reviews and the number of interesting pizzas available. My wild boar pizza arrived hot and looked amazing. However, there was something missing. Perhaps it needed more pizza sauce or a bit of salt but overall it was quite bland. Given that there aren't a huge number of tasty pizza delivery places nearby I might give them another try, but this first experience did not impress.

Honestly I don't have any bad thing to say about the place. Waiters are absolutely lovely and are very good when it comes to recommend a beer to go with your food. They have loads of IPAs and other beers. They do small bites like sliders, chicken wings, fries. Bigger bites like tacos, macncheese and pizzas. I went for the chicken wings which were tender and delicious. My friend went for the portobello mushroom and I got jealous as it was so well presented on the plate. I then had the special which was spicy lamb tacos with mint sauce, served with beans and rice. The meat was cooked perfectly. My friend got the stirloin steak taco and said the same thing about the meat. Highly recommend the place - think about booking a table though.

Poor service, priority given to delivery orders. Food was cold and mushy when arrived. Overpriced.

Tried to find the closest pizza place, and the Coke Lane pop up at Lucky's showed up on our map. Just a short jaunt from the Guinness Storehouse, this place was an absolute godsend. Coke Lane's stand and wood fired oven is set up in the backyard of Lucky's bar (which is a great place to hangout btw). The pizza here was damn good. Orders are placed in the backyard, and they bring the pizza out to you (even if you're sitting inside). We had the margherita and the Scarface pizza, and both were excellent. The crust was cooked to perfection and just the right amount of char and chewiness. Don't think I've eaten pizza that fast! Being from NYC my standards for pizza are pretty high, and Coke Lane definitely is some legit wood fired pizza. Highly recommend dropping by if you're looking for some eats in the area.

It was 10 something PM and there was only Frank Ryan's bar we couldn't find the pizza. We went inside and they serve the pizza at the bar. We did not have high expectations we just wanted some food before going to bed and the pizza was AMAZING! We've been to Italy and to all the best pizza places in the US and this pizza was on the same level. I would definitely recommend.

We saw Milano had a nice patio, with minimal people, on the river so sat outside. We ordered our drinks, both on the menu but they didn't have them so ordered different drinks for both. We were asked if we wanted food by our waiter twice, we said we were just having a drink as we're so full, she walked away both times. The manager then came by and got extremely angry with us saying that this is not a bar and they don't have a license so we have to order food as well. We did not know the laws in Dublin so it was odd he was so angry with us and speaking with a lot of disrespect. No one told us we needed to order food until he yelled at us. Since we were stuffed full already, we really didn't want food but conceded and ordered a side salad. When leaving he didn't even thank us for coming or say bye to us (we were one of the few people there...). Just thought there was no reason to treat a guest like that and how are we supposed to know the restaurant laws in Dublin on our 2nd day in the country. It left a very bad taste in our mouth and we were very disappointed in the unfriendly service.
