We came in as a big group and 5 rowdy children. The customer service is friendly, patient and welcoming. We ordered a dozen of donuts. The bacon egg cheese croissant was made warm and it is fluffy. I came by here on a Sunday morning after running some errands near here I saw the great reviews and I thought it would be worth it to give it a shot here I went inside and I ordered a couple of donuts and a breakfast sandwich and jalapeño ham and cheese croissant. There was a bit of a yelling competition with some of the patrons bc a man cut line and the other people weren't too happy about it. This was after I paid it so it was rowdy while I quietly waited for my hot food item. I was already ready to leave before the breakfast sandwich was done with nothing to do with the owner or food tho. But when I got home and opened everything up to share with my husband, the breakfast sandwich was really dry. The donuts were not that great and cheese croissant was not good either. I don't think I'll ever come back here because it's a little bit out-of-the-way for me, but it was also pretty unimpressive in general. read more

So I I haven't been to this place in a while, so I went last week. It must have sold, bc it is not same as it used to be to be! It looked dirty and unkept and did not have much to choose from . But, the worst part is what happened when I pulled up . There was an older blue car , as I got out of my car I saw a man with a tray of partially covered donuts in his trunk. I was, and remain, tickled to see the cereal covered donuts nestled comfortably next to the traditional sprinkled boys. It's fun and different! (Froot Loops & Fruity Pebbles, yum!) Staff is cool. Quiet, but to the point, and fill an order for a dozen nice and quick! They get a steady flow of folks, too! Pretty standard donut prices. (Glad to not be paying bougie, "artisanal", $5/donut prices like one does at a lot of the newer donut shops) They stay well-stocked. Donuts are tasty, reasonably priced. Overall an asset to Bonsall. Only advice is for the owners to change the fryer oil more often. I can tell when they change it, donuts are golden and fresh tasting, and when oil is old donuts are dark brown and not so fresh. Fresh oil makes better tasting donuts!
