Came here this morning and honestly it was nice and chill the donuts were fresh, the hot chocolate was great made me into a better mood tbh, and the people working there were really nice, a worker named mateo serviced me and was really kind and respectful. Service was quick and the place was clean too. I'll definitely come back again read more

i hadn't had a chocolate donut in so long, but nevertheless i tried it again at winchell's because it never looked so good before. this is easily one of the best donut shops ive been too, and everything from the customer service to the food absolutely blew my standards away. it's a nice and quiet spot too that actually feels alive, which i really appreciate because it's hard to find something like that. mateo even made a donut eclair on the spot (it was *soooo* good) . W MATEO. W BUSINESS. you guys actually care and aren't some corporate robots, 5 stars easily. read more

Winchell's Donuts in Fallbrook is a cool spot for donuts and coffee. I stopped by and picked up a couple dozen donuts for a class I was teaching on post. The price was a lot higher than other donut places I usually go to, but the staff had everything ready when I got there, so the customer service was great. There's not much seating inside, so it's more of a takeout spot. Overall, it was a good experience with friendly staff and convenient service. read more

So I drive all the way across Fallbrook I mean All across Fallbrook to get donuts I ordered an oatmeal an apple fritter I asked for an old-fashioned maple and the Employee told me oh our donut Baker doesn't like making those really do you guys make freaking donuts or not what a half ass Customer service experience I had and they add to it. I get home and the six donut holes that I purchased and ordered for my dogs weren't in the bag when the guy asked me if it was OK if you put the donut holes in the same bag of the donuts and I told him yes I get home. I called Winchell and the guy like oh yeah your donut holes are right here. Really learn how to do your job dude. read more

Really nice local spot with a great selection of tempting treats. I had their blended iced coffee and it was absolutely delicious. smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. They also have a variety of iced drinks, and I'm planning to try the mango one on my next visit. I couldn't resist grabbing a carrot cake muffin too, which came with a beautifully frosted topping and tasted just as good as it looked. Definitely worth stopping by! Service was friendly too. read more

Best customer service from the young female brunette employee working today kind 26 at 3:45. Exceptionally positive and friendly. What a gem to encounter these days! read more

I am not normally a donut person, but I had a sweet tooth late at night. Winchell's is open 24 hours a day which is literally heaven. I went in around 10pm after I got off work and the selection they have is abundant. I ordered a Oreo donut and a regular glazed donut. They both were quite tasty. The Oreo donut was so sweet and large. The ambiance is like any donut shop. The staff was very helpful as I was over consumed by all the options. My rating is 7.5/10. read more

Blast from the past! Grew up on Winchell's and hubby has been chasing his fav raspberry filled for years. Donuts were like he remembered tho they were out of raspberry filled. Will gladly come back tho it's a bit of a drive for us. The customer service was excellent and the selection of fresh donuts large. Great start to our 4th of July day! read more

Donuts are nice here. Service is great. The ambiance is mellow. Quick in and out spot.

Good place for donuts; lots of choices. They have lots of other things too but all I had was donuts. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly. Prices were decent. read more

Great doughnut shop! Great selection, fresh, and friendly staff! The young lady who waited on me was so friendly and very helpful as it was my first visit. I got a dozen (14 is a dozen here!) of assorted. The crullers, custard filled glazed and Boston cream are delicious. I'm confident the other flavors will be just as good! I will definitely be back! read more

Absolutely LOVE this place!! They go above and beyond and their donuts and drinks are delicious! I typically drive to pick up my order but this past Saturday 19 August I was hosting my home for my daughters best friend Gender reveal party. I had no time to run out and get extra sweets for the dessert table. I requested for pink and blue donuts and they did the absolute best they could to meet the request with a little extra touch!! It was absolutely a sweet gesture and very much appreciated, definitely but a smile on the momma to be face and yummies in her tummy for the baby oh yeah, she is having a GIRL read more

Always yummy and they always have a large selection of donuts. I tried their frozen coffee and that was really good too.

I can now finally leave a review of my thoughts on this Winchell's after trying it out a few times. Pricing is fair. Donuts have been okay in my experience although I have heard of others in town say otherwise. I've tried three of their breakfast sandwiches (chipotle, BEC and ranchero) which we're pretty good. I asked for avocado in one of them and the avocado was hard and not good. I like that there's both indoor and outdoor seating--nice place to sit down and chat with a friend. Customer service has been hit or miss. This is definitely an area I would work on. During one of my visits I noticed a female worker (she mentioned her parents owned the shop) give no eye contact to a customer who was buying a donut and was also leaving an application. read more

Winchell’s Donut House - Donut the size of my head! - Donuts Near Me - Fallbrook, California

Heading out of Fallbrook. Came across this Classic Donut Shop. This Hidden Gem is next door to Napa Auto and near the Auto-zone. I was pleasantly surprised they had a great selection at 2 pm on a Sunday Afternoon. They even have very festive fall decorated donuts. The shop was quiet and clean. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and great customer service. Lobby has few tables. Kid Friendly. Old School display cases so the Kiddos will have a great view of the deliciousness. Their Bear Claw was loaded with Cinnamon/Apple with a crumble on top. It definitely passed the picky husband test. Even after 7 hours the donuts tasted fresh. I give this shop two thumbs up! Definitely will be back to try the Winter Holiday inspired donuts. read more

I usually don't really care for Winchell's but this one's the exception. Exceptional customer service, looks very clean, they take contactless payment like Google/Apple Pay etc. The jalapeño, ham, & cheese croissant are the bees knees & so are the bear claws. Coffee here is pretty decent even for a donut shop chain. Don't let the big chain name discourage you and give it a shot if you're in town. read more

Poor product, do not recommend. Went for my free birthday donut (which I have done so in the past and so have friends). Yikes no more free birthday donuts!!! Also ordered a cappuccino, no espresso whatsoever, it was only hot watered down milk. Was a disappointing start to my day. read more

I came here to get a dozen and a half donuts. I had to throw most of them away because they must have been old. had to go to another donut store to retrieve what I had to throw out. There should be better quality control, and old donuts need to be tossed. Please take note because we really love your little shop but won't be going back too soon. read more

It pains me to write this and I really want this place to improve and earn a 5 star review. I love Winchell's. I grew up on them in the LA area and go out of my way to get doughnuts at the Riverside (University Ave) location or when I'm doing work in LA. I was so excited when I saw (years ago it seems) that a Winchell's was coming to town. Unfortunately I had already realized that it seemed like there are two different kind of Winchell's. Those that are legacy Winchell's and those that are Yum Yum rebranded Winchell's with some extras. I was really hoping this would be a legacy Winchell's, even though it was new. I drove down from Murrieta on the day it first opened. There was a corporate employee (who lived in Riverside) there that day and the doughnuts were pretty good, 4 out of 5. I figured they were still getting things going, maybe they weren't as fresh because they couldn't anticipate demand, new cooks, etc. I've been back at least six times sense and while it seemed intermittent at first, it seems to have steadily gone downhill. One time my wife brought me home doughnuts and doughnut holes. I was so excited, but the doughnut holes were not even edible. The doughnuts were edible, but definitely not up to par. When you get a box of doughnuts, they have to squeeze them in, before they place the extras on top. That's how big the doughnuts are supposed to be. This box she brought home looked like you could have easily added additional doughnuts to it. Maybe I eat too much with my eyes, but presentation matters and the flavors just weren't there. To the owner, please send the cooks and whoever else to Riverside to see what Winchell's should be like. Don't go to the Perris location, it's beyond horrible. I'm afraid that whoever trained them might have trained your staff. I will continue to stop in when I'm in town and hope to revise this review soon! read more

Extra delicious and fresh donuts. Friendly service. Clean place. We had the nicest time there.

Been going here since they opened - My grown daughter and I went for a holiday bite to eat , afterwards she asked to go to Winchell's . She was excited to see that "they" now offer soft ice cream cone, To my surprise it was by FAR the smallest serving of ice cream I've ever seen. I had thought he had just started to pour the ice cream when he stopped. I had been given larger portions when we would get free INFANT cones years ago. I do not appreciate getting cheated in this way - What was sold to us was a insult. I would have laughed had this even been a "free" sample. Not wanting to get my daughter upset by complaining I had refrained - When we got in the car she said this was a joke and she did not expect to be ripped off like this. We were provided two spoons in a Winchells bag - problem is that the serving would barely fit on two small plastic spoons - Will not be back for donuts or ice cream -- Sorry read more

Not great but not bad. Nice that they are open 24 hours but nothing impressive. Got better donuts the next day at the Albertsons.

The best everything pastrami bagel. The donuts are so good very fresh and so delicious .

Came here around 5am to grab a breakfast bagel sandwich , unfortunately they didn't have bagels ready yet (he said he was a little behind on baking) but he offered me a ham & cheese croissant. I drove all the way to work & changed which was probably a 20 minute process and this croissant was still warm! It smelled so fresh, my car smelled like a bakery! The croissant was fluffy and had good flake to it, I wasn't a fan of the ham but whatever cheese was in it was melted to perfection and really tied in well with the croissant. Will definitely be back to try a bagel sandwich. read more

I hope they do well, but my honest review... Their donuts are not good! Probably because it's a 24-hour place and they've been sitting for who knows how long. They did not taste fresh or better than the grocery store donuts. Do yourself a favor and go to Donut Pantry down the street. read more

3:00am on 10/25/2022 Walked into the store and stood there for a few then I started saying Hello loudly so an employee new I was there. I walked over to the window in the seating area and saw an employee leaned over on the make table in the kitchen. Another customer walked in, and he even knocked on the window and we were yelling hello to try and wake the employee up. I opened the employee only door walked back there and saw the employee leaned over the make table. The other customer also went back there and saw the employee leaned over and had ear buds in. The other customer tapped the employee on his shoulder to wake him up. The employee woke up dazed and confused and took a couple steps and face planted on the floor. Meanwhile there were donuts in the fryer burning and prepped donuts on racks uncovered. The employee got up and said thank you for checking on me and was defiantly out of it. Employee said he's been up since 6:00am. I asked him if he needed medical attention, he said no he was just tired. I did not purchase any donuts this morning due to this. I can say I never had this experience at this location as my experience in the early mornings have always been great. This incident will not stop me from going here and I hope the employee is ok and gets the help they need. FYI, please keep your CC Machine charged up for us early customers.
