Lunch! 2. Bacon Burger, Fries and Small Soda
Jeremi W.

Omg I needed a burger for lunch yesterday and so I've been wanting to try this place. I am SO glad I did. I got the numbed 2 lunch special. Bacon burger, fries and a drink for $20 including tax. The burger is grilled over a flame and that just brings the flavor up a notch. My burger was delicious. The fries were meh, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and fully intend to return.

I placed my order on Snackpass for pickup. I got a falafel wrap and fries. I went in to pick up and it was pretty busy inside! The staff quickly handed me my order and gave me a side of ranch at no extra charge! The wrap was really filling and flavorful. The veggies inside were very fresh and abundant. The falafel was perfectly fried and was well seasoned. I just wish there was more of it! The fries were standard crinkle fries, not much to say there! Bongo is a solid lunch choice and I hope to come back again soon to try some of their other menu items.

Persian Burger Sandwich (Halal)

After the football game, I was looking for a nice place to eat. I found this restaurant on yelp. When I entered the restaurant, the staff were very friendly and polite. I ordered a Persian burger sandwich. The sandwich was made of ground lamb with lettuce tomato, taziki sauce on sandwich roll. The ambiance was customer friendly and lots of seating. A great place to go to for lunch or breakfast.

Walking past Bongo Burger and resisting the urge to make an order is an incredible feat. It's always why I walk briskly past this place, ensuring to turn the other cheek, every time I walk home, or else my paycheck would always get funneled into Bongo Burger's register. But, who can blame me; Bongo Burger has the best fast food burger in the Bay Area! I go with the All American Burger which comes with a thick 1/3 lb patty and a healthy portion of crisp vegetables inside. The meat patty is surreal with its perfect char that gives way to a wonderful smoky flavor. And, the meat is always incredibly juicy inside. What really makes this burger are the buns though. Never dry, the sesame seed bun is crunchy on the outside, pillowy on the inside, and vaguely baguette-esque. While I've had sesame seed buns from Burger King to Five Guys, they all PALE in comparison to Bongo Burger. I will say that if you're a stickler for service, this is where they might lack a bit. Cashiers aren't the friendliest, but it's not like you're coming for the ambiance (but if you are, you do you friend). Such a hidden gem and criminally underrated!!! Always a 5/5

A decent burger for $10. It's a 1/3 lb pattern. The service was quick and friendly. If you like burgers this is a good spot to drop 8n.

Ordered online and arrived early and food was ready. Yay! Food was nice and hot and fresh. Tasty big burgers and fries are lit. Nice comfort food for an affordable price.

It took me forever to order as the cashier lady kept on interrupting my order to be on the phone. Some of which were personal phone calls.

The food is good but the service is awful. I rather have less tasty food to see that cashier lady. I won't go there again.

Their Persian burger is a good quality burger on a long French roll. Neat and good. Skip the falafel.

I decided to call them up and order a double cheese burger and garlic fries in order to satisfy my late night burger cravings. What I like about A+ is that they put real effort into crafting their burgers/sandwiches. That means quality ingredients, freshness, and solid portions. When I opened the bag to take a look at my meal I realized that I had forgotten how huge their beef patties were! The first bite was excellent... cheesy & beefy goodness between two quality buns. The garlic fries also did not disappoint. They had a great garlic flavor and were crispy yet perfectly fluffy on the inside. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of my meal. In terms of physical location, their restaurant is relatively small and mostly just offers outdoor seating. The area is covered so it is perfectly fine for an evening bite. The staff here are friendly and will answer any questions you might have. A+ remains one of my favorite local burger joints. Check them out sometime!

I love that you can choose the doneness of the patty. I went with medium, and it came out perfectly cooked. The bun was soft, buttery, and rich without feeling too greasy, and every ingredient seemed intentional and added something distinct to the burger. It is a very large burger, though, so be prepared for it to get a little messy. There is a restroom where you can wash your hands, but it requires a key, so bringing hand sanitizer or wet wipes may be helpful. Overall, the burgers are definitely on the pricier side, but I thought the quality justified it. I'd happily come back again.

She was highly detail oriented, attentively tailored her support to my specific needs, and created an experience that left me feeling genuinely valued and appreciated. What stood out most was her consistent professionalism and positive demeanor she carried herself with a natural sense of pride and ownership in her work. This authenticity elevated the entire interaction and reflected the highest standards of customer care. I rate Salma five stars for her strong work ethic, professionalism, and the seamless experience she provided. She is the type of team member who consistently exceeds expectations and represents the organization at its best. I would not hesitate to recommend her for formal recognition, including Manager of the Day, and believe she has the qualities and potential to excel in greater leadership responsibilities.

There is…read moreno line, no anxious choreography of cars jockeying for position, no sense that one has arrived late to one's own life. The parking lot is clean in a way that feels intentional, as if someone cared enough to reset the space overnight. The sun reflects off the windows without accusation. You pull in and feel, briefly, that things might be in order. Inside, the employees smile, and not the trained, defensive smile of obligation, but the open kind that risks sincerity. Juanita greets me as though my arrival matters, asks how my morning is going so far, and waits for the answer. This alone feels almost excessive. Her delight is unguarded, and in it there is a quiet suggestion that work does not have to erase the person doing it. Conversation flows easily, a few seconds of shared presence that asks for nothing more than attention. The space itself hums with brightness. Not sterile, not overproduced, but clean and awake. Tables wiped, floors swept, the air carrying the faint promise of coffee and something savory. It feels like a place prepared for people, not merely for transactions. In a small way, this matters. Then there is the steak egg and cheese bagel sandwich, which deserves more reverence than it usually receives. It arrives warm, substantial, almost improbably generous. The bagel is soft but grounded, the steak rich without being aggressive, the egg folded neatly like a quiet affirmation. Melted cheese binds everything together with a patience that feels practiced. Eating it is not hurried. It invites attention. It rewards it. There is something quietly Eucharistic about the act, though no one announces it as such. Ordinary food, taken seriously, becomes more than fuel. It becomes a moment of gratitude disguised as breakfast. You sit, you eat, you are sustained. Nothing mystical is forced upon you, yet something is given. The sandwich does not transcend its ingredients, but it gathers them into something whole. This McDonald's does not pretend to be salvation. It offers something smaller and more attainable: a morning that works. A place where light fills the room, where people speak kindly, where food tastes like care rather than compromise. You leave unburdened, not because your problems have vanished, but because for a short while the world did not resist you. Driving away, the day feels possible. Not perfect. Possible. And sometimes that is more than enough.

Whenever I'm in search of something good to eat in the Bay Area I always check TikTok first. My search directed me to Southside Station! It's a small quaint establishment with a very quiet vibe. When I entered, there was a table of three gentlemen sitting there enjoying their selections. I checked in with them and got suggestions on what I should order. They made a recommendation, but I chose something totally different. I ordered the wings and garlic noodles with a side of brussels sprouts. This place is known for their fried chicken because it's so extra crunchy. They definitely did deliver on the crunch and the flavor. The garlic noodles were very garlic, which is what I liked, and the brussels sprouts were sautéed in a honey glaze. I decided to enjoy my food inside the restaurant as opposed to sitting outside where they have two tables set up. The young lady that took my order was ever so sweet and kind. She was the only one I saw in the restaurant behind the counter, but there may have been others working further in the back. There was an error on my order and she was quick to correct the error with an apology and a smile. The portion size was decent. I ended up taking home leftovers.

It's a great location to check out whether you're eating in or getting takeout / delivery. Being a chain, I was looking forward to seeing how the quality of the food compares. First, I tried the onion rings and these are perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. The coating is not thick and still light, which holds onto the onion very well. Next, I tried the hot spicy whole chicken - the half portion. For the price and value, I really enjoyed it! The chicken pieces are all evenly coated in the sauce, which has a balance of both sweetness with a light kick to it. The breading of the chicken is also airy and not heavy at all. Despite the chicken being drenched in the sauce, I did not find the texture to become soggy at all. One pro tip is that if you have leftovers, I recommend popping them into the air fryer so that they remain crispy. I was able to try the wings of fire, which I was really hyped about. I was fully expecting the wings to be on a 'burning' spice level, but I was able to handle it! If you do have a lower spice tolerance, I would recommend using caution if you're trying it but for the spicy food lovers, it's not as extreme as I thought it would be because the sauce was also sweet. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it! Although it is advertised as having 8 wings total, I actually got an extra one so shout out to the workers! This completely exceeded my expectations - as one person, I even had leftovers and was able to make the food stretch into multiple meals. I'm so glad I finally got to try bb.q Chicken and I highly recommend checking it out if you're craving Korean fried chicken!
