This restaurant is in a strip shopping center and in the area of local hotels. We were seated near the bar which was a nice booth with raised barriers between tables which made conversation easy. Our server Kaydi quickly came over to offer drinks, an energetic tone, a positive smile, and the refreshing Southern "yes ma'am/sir." I got the Blues Brothers Burger with sweet potato fries, a very tasty lunch, and filling. We were offered to-go drinks, a cordial touch. Pricing averaged about $25 per person, a very reasonable price for the value delivered. Overall, we will certainly be back the next time we're driving along the east coast. I hope we're lucky enough to meet Kaydi again, as she's an asset to this establishment.

We got the buffalo chicken wrap, a burger and 2 kids meals (mac bites and mini corn dogs). The restaurant had 2 people inside eating when we arrived for our takeout order, so it wasn't super busy. The girl at the front seemed a little annoyed at my husband being there to pick up an order. We got home and were shocked to see the $6 kids meal was 6 very overcooked mini corn dogs and an applesauce and 6 Mac bites and an applesauce. Did not seem like a good value when comparing to other places kids meals (like jaggers). The Buffalo chicken wrap was okay, kind of soggy, and I questioned why there would be grilled onions and cheese in a Buffalo chicken wrap vs like lettuce/ tomato, and the fries were soft. My husband said the burger was also okay, not great. Thankfully we stopped at jaggers on the way home to pick up some sides of mac n cheese and fruit for the kids, but for the price I don't see us going back anytime soon.

We drove past twice before parking at the Hardware store next door and walking over. The exterior is...weathered to be sure. But that's not gonna stop us! The order window opened quickly and a gentleman efficiently took our order. Cash only. We got two hot dogs, an order of onion rings, a cheeseburger and a tea (that was the only drink available on the day I visited). We hung out until our order was ready then took it and sat on the tailgate of my vehicle to eat. The grease from the chili had soaked through multiple layers of the wrapping. Always a good sign! I had to look at the hot dog for a couple seconds because the chili looked unusual. It was mostly (very) saucy with some bits of ground beef. I was skeptical but on first bite...it was delicious! Certainly not what I'd call chili if I'm being honest. It was like BBQ sauce and ketchup mixed together, heated up, with ground beef conservatively tossed in. But again, it was great. The onion rings were good. Hot when we got them with good crispy outside. The burger was really good too. Lived up to the hype. I'd definitely recommend folks make a stop at Spencer's if you're in the area. Ambiance isn't overly impressive but focus on the food and you'll have a great time.

You could smell the grill going when you walk up and it really makes it real for you that you are about to experience some good eatin! I ordered the "Southern Thang" burger. Which is their version of Carolina Style or Chili And slaw burger! They nailed it!!! Everything tasted so fresh, the bun was perfectly toasted and even had a PAW PRINT stamped on top! Too many food trucks have those basic restaurants straight cut fries that you pick up from bargain stores but this place definitely decided to stand out! All in all this place surprised me by delivering restaurant quality food, fresh and hot, with excellent service. I will definitely be back!
