I originally didn't think I'd finish this salad but it was really fresh and delicious. Very low carb meal. Next time I might try chicken instead of burgers. Husband had the Rocky Balboa burger and a side salad instead of fries. He was a little disappointed in the small size of the burger but it was otherwise good (cooked medium well but not dry) and the salad was fresh. Service was friendly but server had a little trouble remembering if they had Guinness. I would expect the servers to have this information ready as they serve primarily burgers and BEER, ya know. Yelp helped me find this absolute gem while visiting Rocky Mount today. I absolutely loved the decor, the music, the draft list, the service, and the food. Our server was super friendly and informative. We shared that we live in Raleigh and learned that they also have a location in Raleigh on Hillsborough Street. We already have plans to check out the Raleigh location this weekend! The food was all amazing! Clear standouts were the eggrolls and the smash burgers. The sweet potato waffle fries were amazing too. We enjoyed the 90s music and the movie decor on the walls. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The decor is filled with movie memorabilia and tv's for watching sports. Our waitress,Shane, was absolutely amazing!!!! The restaurant seems to have a movie theme, with lots of the dishes having movie character names, such as Ricky Bobby, Napoleon Dynamite, Rocky Balboa, and my choice - Marty McFly, a burger with homemade chili, coleslaw, and American Cheese. Others in our group ordered Cobb salad, and two hot dogs Doc Brown and The Jules. Our meals were brought to the table with a short wait time. My burger was enhanced with the homemade chili. Good flavor, normal sized burger. I liked the sweet potato fries with ranch dipping sauce. Locals and travelers know a Gold Mine when we see one. From the moment we stepped out of the rain we saw sunshine. Leah greeted us and sweetly told us there was a wait, we would have waited all day for the awesome food and service we received. We only waited long enough to decide our beer choices. While sitting at the small bar area we conversed with server Rebekah and also with Leah. Great beer & food selections w/ creative sandwich names, friendly staff, quick food w/ full service. Benjamin, the young man at the front door was on point. Quick & friendly greetings as soon as the door opens! The pics may not give the full story but the hand battered fried pickles and the Ricky Bobby Sub were perfectly made. Although I got my food to-go, the pickles were still crispy and the sub was wrapped in foil to Lee it hot till I got to my hotel. The service is always on point and the girls are very personable and are very helpful (in case you don't don't what to order). My daughter had the onion rings which were freshly made and had a nice little kick to them. She also ordered the banana pudding milkshake. Four stars for my experience plus one for seemingly being a hot spot for the locals as well. Superfast service. Of course, I love the movie themed names for everything. The Ghostbuster - Pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeños, jalapeño bacon, chipotle mayo (Served with 2 Patties, Smashed & Cooked medium well) was really great. For medium well patties they were super juicy and the toppings came together really well for taste. There were too many sweet potato fries on the plate for me, but I guess I cannot complain about that. It is great to have the beer menu power by Untappd, but I wish they would offer smaller pours than just the 16oz. For locals that works, however, traveling through it would be nice to have tried a couple new ones in smaller glasses.
