A firm three stars from my experience this evening. A wet floor leading from back door to bathrooms on to salad bar. Made for slippery and dicey walk back to table. Food was nothing special. Service was fine. Noted cook in kitchen move his hands back and forth over his closely cropped scalp multiple times in the food prep area. We probably will not be back.

Good spot for lunch....enjoyed the vegetable soup and I had the club sandwich. They make the best french fries....crispy and delicious.

We were in town for a soccer tournament and ate here. This cute restaurant is located downtown so there is plenty of parking. It's small inside and can fill up quickly. Service was great and the staffed were all friendly. The prices are affordable and the food is decent. Good comforting American food. The wings were good and my children all enjoyed their food.

We ate at a comfortable bar seat due to full house. The bartender, Melody knew her job & made perfect mixed drinks. She was also our server. We were served in a timly manner & left after an un-rushed hour. Our meal consisted of bleu cheese apple salad, she crab soup, filet done to perfection with potato & asparagus. Dessert was key-lime pie (delicious) & crem brule (slurp). Including 4 bar drinks, total was $105 and worth every penny. You have to go here, use your GPS as its not in a.busy area but the 'townies' know where it is.

Our server was quite nice and was able to answer our menu questions. Our meal began with the soup of the day, Chicken Tortilla Soup. It was quite tasty, full of veggies that you would find in a pico de gallo nestled in a rich tomato broth, topped with crispy tortilla strips and served in a very small 8oz cup. What was missing was the chicken... I think I encountered one very small cube of chicken in one of those bites. My husband had the bowl size and echoed the same sentiment. For entre, I ordered the Blue Cheese and Apple Salad and made it a meal with the delicately fried oysters. The portions were great for a meal, but I expected more diversity in the salad greens. I received a mound of spinach that would make Popeye extremely happy. I would have loved some crispy romaine to vary the density of the spinach. However, the house dressing and candied walnuts added a great touch. My husband ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta which I sampled. I loved the sausage and the complexity of flavors for this dish. My son had the crab cakes which were also greatly portioned. He said that the cakes were very good, but for the premium prices he'd expected more crab and less filler. Nevertheless, he still cleaned his plate. Overall, we had a pleasant evening, but for what you pay for a meal, I expected a little bit more.

Super friendly service and a warm inviting atmosphere with table linens and seating that is nicely spaced to afford you more intimacy than most places. We shared a couple of the starters: Philly egg rolls and the spinach dip with fresh made pita chips. Both were excellent. We also had the chicken wrap, shrimp wrap, Cobb salad, and the chicken salad. All of the entrees were great. My favorite had to be the fresh cut and fried potato slices- whatever you order, don't miss those! It's a banquet hall and catering business but it does a very brisk brunch business and there were three groups there who were celebrating special occasions, so it can accommodate groups of various sizes pretty easily.

This place isn't just a restaurant, it's a tradition. One of the waitresses (Ms. Marie!) has been there for at lea 25 years, and she truly makes the experience special. She's warm, welcoming, and makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. And of course, the food never disappoints. Everything is consistently delicious, perfectly seasoned, and the portions are just right--not too much, not too little. It's the kind of meal you look forward to and leaves you satisfied every time. Mayflower isn't just a place to eat--it's a staple of the community and a must-visit whenever you're in town.

I've tried their bloomin onion knock-off and we like it better than Outback. I don't order it often; y'all know why by now. I'm fluffy and don't need more fluff. The owners are both Cancer Survivors and local clergy. When it comes to a nice southern meal on a Sunday you can bet that they will get the job done. They have TURKEY BBQ, let's me honey we all need to eat a little bit healthier. This restaurant gives you the chance to eat good and live longer. My only complaint is that sometimes items will run out. In time I believe they will have a system to eke it's that or the communist will come in and support stronger so they that will have to urgency to cook more. Atmosphere : Jazz Music, Praise and Worship, Holiday tunes galore. This place is a nice, chill low key, quite place to enjoy your meal without the burden of being overcrowded or uncomfortable. Adding a little more color and personality on the inside and outside will make this place a staple and will show the to compete with the bbq giants of Eastern NC. Service : When they first opened I will admit the wait time to actually have your food was not impressive. Since then, they have a new system and have been getting orders out in a hurry. They are always attentive to FREE refills and depending on how nice you smile they might even throw in a couple of extra hushpuppies. The best service in Wilson County by far. There team makes you feel right at home Cleanliness : The restaurant is the cleanest in the 252 when compared to other bbq spots. Last I checked they were at 98. There are two big name bbq spots in Wilson and neither of them have above and 88 score so let that sink in. All in all if you love to support local and starter business then throw your support behind this one! Mcdonald and Bojangles have had enough of your dollars now it's time to invest back into the community! EAT AT BOOGIES

We ordered a few items to get taste of what they had to offer: Philly Cheesesteak Double Cheeseburger Hot Dog Fried Chicken Fries, Fried Okra, and Potato Wedges Those fried okra were the TRUTH! Fried perfectly - could eat those over having the fries or wedges any day. The burger was okay, very thick but a little overcooked for my liking. The hot dogs taste like they were deep fried. I know a lot of people don't like it that way - but wanted to make note of it. It was good overall. The fried chicken was hot, juicy, and very crispy. The seasoning was a little salty for my liking but the chicken under it was good. Now that cheesesteak is where it is! Good seasoning on the meat, the bread was tender, and the veggies cooked good.

Well, The Ol' Mangaretta had a craving for potato wedges, and on pure chance, searched and ordered from the first restaurant with wedges on the menu. Enter Chicken 2 Go. Wedges with a vengeance, avenging Mang's hunger! Add to those wedges a plethora of mains and sides that my two dining companions and I ordered: crisp, juicy fried chicken (though I wouldn't have minded a few more herbs in the flour); cheesy good chicken cheesesteak; so-so chicken fried rice; yummy collard greens; savory, crunchy, yet pillowy hush puppies; average onion rings; and meh mac and cheese. But those we'll-seasoned wedges were all my dreams hoped they'd be. So, four stars for delicious chicken, cheesesteak, greens, hush puppies, and craveable wedges that were even more tantalizing the next day after a trip through the air fryer. Minus one star for a few lackluster sides. Wedge ya just try Chicken 2 Go already?
