We got here a little bit before one on a Saturday and we're unsure of where to park so we parked directly across the street at what is currently a church. The bartender informed us that that was an OK place to park. They opened right at one, and we were the first people in there. We inquired about food since we had not eaten lunch yet, but they were unable to let us know if their kitchen was going to open that day or not. They just started a food truck a few days prior, but that was not going to be there that day. We ordered flights and sat at the end of a really cool looking bar. I was really impressed with the fact that I liked three out of four of my beer choices. I got a stout, a blueberry cider, a prickly pear cider, and a pickle beer. Because of course we're in Mount Olive for the pickles! LOL. They will add a pickle per request! Also had sips of my besties Shake it off, the strawberry milkshake, IPA. I have never had an IPA that I liked before. We wanted to get some of the stout to go, but there was not any in the cooler. We asked Dominic, the bartender and he actually went out back to look for us. He was unable to find them, but had four behind the bar that he sold to us. We were able to add two of the shake it off to make a six pack. That was $16. Overall a great experience. The inside of the bar was lovely. The bartender was friendly and helpful. And best of all was the excellent beer. I wish this bar wasn't so far...I would definitely become a regular here! read more

Stopped by during the Pickle Festival. I really appreciate that they opened early for the festival. The pickle beer and pickle soda were both delicious and I would definitely recommend them! But we also got some of their other beers and were happy with them as well. The servers were very friendly and attentive, and location is great. Good stop for sure! read more

I met some friends here. It was my first visit but it won't be my last. We were there early, so it was empty. But by the time 5ish rolled around, the people did, too. A band was setting up when we left about that time. The place was clean and roomy. Tara, the bartender, was awesome. The beer was cold. We all had a good time and played some corn hole while there. They have two of the out back. I'll surely be back and will bring my wife. 5 stars. read more

Definitely not what I expected for a brewery when it came to what they had available on tap. Most of their light beers were all out. However the breakfast beer was delicious and the service was great! The ambiance of the brewery was warm and welcoming. I would love to go back in the future to try lighter brews. read more

What a fun spot in Mount Olive! There's indoor space which is clean, spacious and modern. But when the weather allows outside is the place to be! There's grassy space for kids to run around and plenty of different seating options from Adirondack chairs to picnic tables. We were there on a Thursday (opens at 4:30) and trivia started around 7. There was a food truck--Jimmy's Cookin' Shack was five stars! Jimmy was friendly, customized my order of nachos with BBQ chicken and checked on how we enjoyed the food. We loved the brisket, pulled pork and chicken options we ordered. You can expect a different food truck each night. R&R does not sell food. You can bring your own or order a pizza to be delivered. You just can't bring your own alcohol. There is an outdoor stage for live music. It has a hometown feeling, but everyone is welcomed. This is a brewery so the flavors rotate. Watch the alcohol percentages. Ask for samples of anything you want to try. Pickle town is pretty good. Could have been colder. read more

A must-stop when in Mt. Olive and you've gotta try the Pickletown beer! Just the right amount of pickle flavor! Lots of other great beer too. My friend and I got half pours so we could try a few different styles! The bartenders were super awesome with recommendations and letting us taste test. The space has a very relaxed and welcoming vibe. Plenty of seating inside and outside even with some chairs up for social distancing. Sadly, their hammocks were not up. The only thing I don't like about this place is that it's currently only open on days I'm usually busy.--which is a me problem and not them. You would never guess that the inside of the building would be so warm and inviting based out the outside. The building was an old warehouse that's been nicely painted and updated. The inside is awesome...NC poplar bar, nice wooden trim, and awesome rope lights. The owners are a young couple, Ryan and Maureen, that are engaging and super nice. The beers are very well crafted and suited to the tastes of local residents. AMAZING outdoor area with fire pits, giant Jenga, and corn hole boards. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Tonight they have a BBQ food truck and live music. Very glad I came by here. read more

I was completely surprised when walking in. When I drove up I almost didn't bother. It was move in weekend and I had some time to kill. The girl ( I think her name is Tara ) was really nice & quite knowledgeable about the brews. I opted for the half pints so I could try as many & not get locked into one I may not like As anyone who has been to a brew house knows,, you aren't likely to like them all I'd recommend giving the place a try. A great place with good beer and good people. Ryan and Dominic were helpful and knowledgeable. Had to try the "Pickletown" pickle beer on their beer menu. I thought it would be too pickle forward but it was very nice and I had multiple pints. We also had a nice sour and IPA. We stayed as part of Harvest Host and parked our RV out back. Worth the extra drive on our trip and will be back if we come back through the area. Say hi to Ren from us and our dogs. read more

Absolutely the best thing in the town of Mt Olive. We enjoy Trivia Night on Thursdays and rarely miss it. The food trucks on-site are always top-notch and everything on tap is delicious...my favorite is the hard cider. The setting is family-friendly with a great outdoor space, and very cool interior. Friendly environment. Tried the 541 Ol' Sun IPA and it was amazing. Not as hoppy as normal IPAs and very refreshing. Great addition to the area. Give this place a try. read more
