Was on the way to Winterville and looked up places to eat there. The Angus Grill was the place we picked for lunch. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and came by often to check on us. The food was delicious. My husband ordered the smoked cheesesteak with onion rings and I ordered the Hawaiian cheesesteak with tater tots. We were both pleased with the food. Their ranch dressing is some of the best I've had, their pimento cheese burger, brisket cheesesteak, bacon jam burger and ribeye sandwich are all absolutely amazing. The ribeye sandwich may be my new favorite! The garlicky Texas toast and horsey sauce on super lean and flavorful ribeye! So good! Their salads are also delicious! After reading some of the three star reviews that said the food was great but the service was lacking, I paid particular attention to the service we received upon our first time dining here. We were greeted promptly upon sitting at our table, upon which our waitress served our drinks. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings, which the waitress went off to get. During this time, I accidentally dropped my fork on the floor, which I promptly picked up. Not 30 seconds later, the waitress appeared with a new set of silverware for me. I hadn't said anything to her about needing new silverware, and she wasn't around when I dropped it. She must have heard the clang on the floor and realized what happened. I thought her delivery of new silverware was particularly perceptive and proactive and goes beyond service expectations one would normally receive at a restaurant.
