Chop bbq

It is aight honestly. The sides are good but small portion. Bbq meat taste weird, it is different than other chop bbq in town and I don't like it. Seating is comfortable, similar to the new Parker's. I didn't try other entree but they opened a couple locations so there are enough people that like Moore's bbq. I still prefer Bee's or Sam Jones

Hushpuppies fresh, crispy and a little sweet. Addictive

Great find in the Greenville area! We tried their food twice on a recent trip, once for take out and the second time eat in. Both experiences were excellent. The building itself was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. The seating setup was a nice combination of booths and tables. The interior was very welcoming and the bathrooms were clean. For both meals I had the BBQ Pulled Pork, which was delicious, moist, freshly chopped with a light peppery kick and paired well with their house sauces. Perfectly cooked pork with a nice wood flavor. The hush puppies were crisp, fresh, slightly sweet and dangerously good. The sides were ok: mashed potatoes were good and the green beans were average. I felt the portion size was just right and appreciated the staff walking by and occasionally asking if we needed everything. The place was packed for a lunch rush and they handled it well. There are some great BBQ places in this area of North Carolina and Moore's is one of the best I've had in my humble opinion.

I absolutely loved the baked beans!!! My favorite thing on the menu. My pulled pork sandwich was amazing as well. It was my first visit and the cashier was so nice and gave me a slice of pecan pie for free. I definitely enjoyed my visit and would go back if I'm ever in North Carolina again.

* For fellow parents of diapered kids; there is a diaper changing station in the big stall.* So, we had our first visit here today and highly recommend it! We had never heard of this chain before but decided to give it a shot after reading a couple of reviews here on Yelp. It was very clean inside and out with ample seating. It was not too busy even though we were there around 1300 on a Sunday. I ordered the BBQ Sandwich meal, which came with a sandwich (had coleslaw on it as well as their sauce), one side and a drink. I decided to stick with the French fries and I was given an abundant amount. I am not sure if this was due to the fact that they were teetering on being cold or if that is how much they normally give. With that being said, they were still good but could have been more fresh. The BBQ itself was pulled, I think they described it as chopped, and it was really good! Probably one of the best BBQ sandwiches I have had. I ordered my coleslaw on the side just because I am picky about it. It had kind of a cinnamon note to it that hit you a few seconds into tasting it. It was still good on the sandwich. I wound up putting their rib sauce and more of their hot sauce (which was on the table) onto my sandwich and it was delicious! My husband ordered the pulled pork plate which came with two sides AND hushpuppies. His two sides were the baked beans and the potato salad. The baked beans were the bomb! They did have a tiny portion of pulled pork in them, just so y'all know. The potato salad was good but it is not something we would order again. The hushpuppies tasted like they were made with cornmeal so it tasted like cornbread. It was good! Definitely a different take on a hushpuppy. Right as I was getting up to get a drink refill there was an employee walking around with tea to refill drinks! Total score! I still needed to run up to the counter for something but it was nice that I did not have to carry my cups up there. All in all we really enjoyed our meal at Moore's and will definitely be frequent customers.

I've passed this place for years before finally deciding to give it a shot. I've heard they served good food so my wife and I came in expecting great service. First impression was that their parking lot was clean, the interior was clean, and their facilities were clean. The associate taking the order was professional and friendly. They have a lot of great options to choose from fitting to a barbeque restaurant (think "family cookout"). After placing an order to dine in, we were given a table marker and drinks and chose a seat. You can place an order to go, and they even have a drive-thru. The speed with which our order came out was fast, not even five minutes. The plate I ordered was hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. But that alone isn't what made me come back the next time, or the next few times since then. Moore's has customer service like I've never experienced before. Literally every 5-10 minutes an associate-and even the manager of the location-made rounds to check on us. I've even gotten up once to head to the register for a refill in-between their rounds and had their employee of the month, who was our server, immediately spot me and jokingly told me "no" and asked me what I wanted! This has unfortunately spoiled my wife and I I'm the way of customer service and set a high-standard of care for a customer. I highly recommend this location for anyone skeptical to try it. A good plate of food will hit you for about $10, so it'll make a great 2/$20 if you want to try it with a friend!

We were a little nervous trying it so close to the grand opening. The place was great! Fried chicken was perfect and the Brunswick stew was awesome. Staff was on point and very helpful. I like how they bring the food to you and keep your drinks refilled. We will be back. Prices are very reasonable and have a good children's menu. Looking forward to trying their seafood.

I had great times and great memories with my grandma. They give you a lot of fries. You need to try the fried shrimp.

Three-star visit, but five-star composure from the young lady behind the counter…read more I stopped in around 6:30 on a Saturday evening, so I wasn't naïve enough to expect zero wait during the dinner rush. When I ordered, I was told the kitchen was running behind and that my food would take about 25 to 30 minutes. It ended up being closer to 45. As I was leaving, I asked what had happened. I wasn't trying to be a jerk; I was genuinely curious how they had gotten that far behind. Apparently, it was the perfect storm: a busy Saturday dinner rush, a catering order for 150 wings, and someone being trained in the kitchen. What stood out was how well the young lady at the counter handled everything. She looked to be high school or early college age, but she wasn't rattled at all. She remained calm, pleasant, and professional throughout the delay. She didn't become defensive or act as though my question was a problem. That deserves to be recognized. They also gave me a card for a free sandwich on a future visit. I don't live in Greenville, so I'm not sure how much value it will ultimately have for me, but it was still a fair and appreciated gesture. I paid around $20 for a chicken sandwich, fries, a cookie, and an iced tea. That wasn't an amazing value, but it wasn't outrageous by today's standards either. The sandwich was good. Was it really the Nashville hot chicken the advertising had me expecting? Not quite. I'd call it a good hot chicken sandwich, but not a true Nashville hot chicken experience. Would I come back? Probably. The food was good, and the way the front counter handled a rough night created a lot of goodwill. Still, 45 minutes is a long wait for this type of meal, even on a busy Saturday, and the food didn't quite live up to the Nashville hot chicken billing.

We ordered delivery and I will say, it came pretty fast though we do live close by. That chicken sandwich. SO good!! I was a little leery at first, but wow! I'm glad we did country style because I do think it might've been soggy had we gotten sauce and then delivery, but it was fresh and hot! Our kids can be a little picky with chicken strips, but even they really liked these! Probably not a regular stop for us as it is a little pricey, but totally worth it. Flavor was on point, freshness as well!

Upon arrival, I was told they had inexplicably made the order on Saturday instead and threw it out. Instead of apologizing and immediately fixing their mistake, the manager on duty actually tried to charge me a second time to remake the food we had already paid for! We were forced to wait 30 minutes while staff sought "approval" from an unreachable General Manager to start cooking without charging us a second time. The food wasn't handed to us until 4:40 PM. Because of this glaring incompetence, we missed nearly an hour of my daughter's party, leaving our guests waiting without food. When we asked for compensation for this massive disruption, local staff was totally dismissive, telling us we "had our food" and there was nothing else they could do. We were given the runaround when requesting the General Manager, being told they were "in meetings for two days" and to call corporate. I escalated the issue to Corporate on August 4th, waited the 5 business days they requested for a resolution, and was entirely ignored. If you are planning an event, take your money elsewhere. They do not value their customers' time, they will ruin your timeline, and neither local management nor corporate will take accountability when they fail.

Service was great, the young lady working the register was sweet and she and I assume it was the owner answered all my questions and were very pleasant and welcoming! The gyoza are some of the best I have had! Absolutely amazing! I would go back just for these dumplings! The general tso chicken has a very yummy sauce and the chicken is white meat not gray/stringy! Some of the bigger pieces were a little chewier than the others, but overall it was very tasty! Nice crispy breading and again, no sketchy mystery meat! The only thing I would want different is fried rice or noodles as a side instead of just white rice. It was cooked well, I'm just not big on plain rice, but mixed with the yummy sauce it was still yummy! And they confirmed the lemongrass chicken is similar to the dish that the previous restaurant had, so I will definitely be back to try that and get some more dumplings!
