This used to be fine dining and has now become Red Lobster in disguise. Walking in we asked to sit in a big booth but were told as they sat us at a table for 4 that "those booths are for parties of 6." Thirty seconds later they sat a party of 3 in the booth we had asked about. And every other similar booth had 3 people in it as well. We were a party of 4. Then we ordered the Calamari appetizer that we get every time. They're normally always huge (the size of quarters). This time they were so small it looked like scraps, no bigger than dimes. After a bit we noticed we had no bread and they used to always bring bread with oil to dip in. We asked our waitress and she said she could bring some bread. We then looked around and noticed there was no bread at all the tables. So it's safe to assume they now don't bring you bread unless you ask, which is a downgrade and does not equate with fine dining. It instead is an attempt to cut down on costs eliminating part of the dining experience. At the end of the day this many faults in one evening is no coincidence. Bonefish.... the new Red Lobster! read more

Came here last night for Father's Day. It was okay. Still my parents and my favorite chain seafood spot but wasn't super impressed. Waited for 20 minutes for a table for 4 around 7pm. We tried the specials including the shrimp Rangoon... honestly I would skip this. I love Rangoon but with shrimp wasn't my cup of tea. The sauce was good solo with the chips. I was disappointed in the scampi but wish there was pasta added. What can I say, I'm a carb lover Bang bang shrimp was not the best. I've had better elsewhere. My dad had the imperial cod which he seemed to like but I thought didn't have enough spice or flavor. They ran out of the mussels Josephine sadly which is my favorite. Service was quick though and my parents who are tough critics still enjoyed it nonetheless. read more

Not a good experience. Straws were forgotten, steak knives weren't provided, additional food that was not asked for was brought to the table and charged. Received appetizers before bread and drinks/water. Employees seemed very unorganized and floor was wet. Other Bonefish locations are not like this. I'm only giving two starts because the food was good and quick. But very annoyed at getting charged for additional food that I did not order. read more

You can always feel comfortable going to Bonefish. They are consistently good! Start with the bang bang shrimp and go on to a delicious soup or salad...the entrees are flavorful , served beautifully and filling. Had Dinner there last night and felt it time to share..I was in the mood for "cod" but wanted none of the toppings a on it. The server was accommodating and made sure to serve it as I asked. It was really good ..My sister had "fish and chips"..which we never order, but she was in the mood to live "dangerously"..ha ha..Anyhow, it was a very generous serving and was delicious..Almost reminded us of the old days when our Mom would love "Long Jon Silvers"!! This was better! The setting and ambiance was very nice.. So glad this location is close to us..Highly recommend this restaurant .. read more

Had brunch on Sunday with a group of friends at this location. It was my first time ever trying out Bonefish Grill. The restaurant is located in a nice shopping plaza, were greeted by the host who even opened the door for us. They have endless mimosas on Sundays and now Saturdays as well. Sadly they didn't have passion fruit mimosas so I didn't take advantage of the great price. But all my friends did indeed drink up. The best part was they just kept them coming so everyone was happy. Our waitress though I didn't catch her name, was attentive and started us with apps. We ordered the crab cakes, Brussels sprouts, and bang bang shrimp. Everything was yummy. For our entrees, we all ordered different items, I went with the creme brulee French toast (I didn't enjoy them as much I felt it was so bland and I thought there would be more fruits (since it mentioned seasonal fruits) and all I got was 3 BLUEBERRIES. My husband ordered the wagyu burger which I ended up finishing for him because we traded plates. His friends ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos that looks amazing!!! Eggs Benedict and lobster and steak. Tried the flourless brownie was to much chocolate for me I just spooned the raspberry sauce and walnuts. Overall it was okay. read more

Well went tonight to celebrate our anniversary, had a reservation for 7:15! We arrived on time, and the hostess said sorry but it will be 25mins. Got a text that "they would let me know" we waited an hour outside, and guess what, never heard back! Went and enjoyed our dinner somewhere else, and oh still don't know if our table is ready, and it's 11pm! Rather spend my money at a place who cares about its customers! Feels like one of the only chain restaurants you can go to and still get good service. Nice variety of food, healthy and fun options. Moderately cost effective, can't go wrong whether you're with family or on a date. The ambiance is intimate and private in a non-weird way as well. read more

For some reason the Bang Bang shrimp here is literally perfect, the Coral Springs location always has noticeably smaller shrimp sizes. That leads me to indulge in my Bonefish Fantasies(ooooh... new term spotted) here in Weston. I also had the dumplings, why not I'm Asian. Round it out with some lump crab soup and I've covered roughly 50% of my caloric macros for the day. Bro I'm making all kinds of gains doing this, ALL KINDS!!! If I can make a recommendation come in right around 4:30pm for an early dinner and food comes out super fast. I did that one time here on my way to Naples and it was super fast to get our food. read more

Very disappointed in the takeout tonight. I ordered three menu items... I received two of them. Extremely upsetting to drive 10 minutes home to find out that you're missing 33% of what you ordered. Is there no Quality Control to make sure all ordered items are going in the bag? Now I have to drive back 10 minutes to go home 10 minutes to cold food. Please do better with the order accuracy or you may lose more 15+ year customers. read more

Absolutely horrific. Ordered through uber eats and received inexcusably bad food/service- 2 salmons were almost completely raw and all other dishes were butchered in some way. This quality of food shouldn't be able to be sold - end of story. Would give it zero stars if I could. read more

Consistently good. This is one of our "go to" neighborhood faves for weekdays or lazy weekend outings. Why? well, we know it's down the street from us, we go all the time and we know it will deliver despite it's chain status. Good prices too! Bang bang shrimp in all it's glory calls out my name every single time. Cannot ever get enough. I only make myself stop because I won't be able to finish my entree later (and why the doggie bags every single time). And then I eat "just one more". Sigh. I love the black cherry guava mojito they make. So innocent and cute in a pinkish red but pretty strong. Go ahead, try one...or two. You will see what I mean. If not, they carry Cakebread's Sauvignon Blanc which goes perfectly with anything on their menu. Service is usually great. I prefer the booths to the freestanding tops or high tops by the bar. Wait is usually long unless you have a reservation so make sure you call ahead. I have never just walked right in. Always in high demand. Pretty lucky that we have one less than a mile from the house and this additional location which is only 10 minutes away! Don't hate. read more

We came here after we dropped off my 4Runner at a Toyota dealer near by. I've always wanted to try this place from the different reviews I read. Since we were just blocks away...perfect. We walked in around noon but the placed was completely empty. No one was in the dinning area or at the bar. It looks as though they've just opened for business that day, but the Yelp page says they are open at 11am..oh well. The place looked pretty good. I like the bar area which is where we sat that day. They have a lunch menu and the items sounded pretty good. Then I remembered everyone raved about their Bang Bang Shrimps so we started with that. The shrimp was cooked pretty well. According to my wife she said it was not spicy at all but I thought I can feel that kick. Not sure if this dish usually came out at room temperature. I question that because it came out within 5 minutes after we ordered. We asked our bartender if the Fish and Chip was good. She said its good but she thought its a bit oily for her taste. My wife loves the chips so we went ahead and ordered it anyway. And yes, you guessed it, it was very greasy. My wife had to use a napkin to soak up all the grease from the fish. The flavor was pretty good though except the oily batter. When we got our check, we were happy to see that they decided to take the Fish and Chip off our bill because we didn't like it. With 2 beers, 1 cocktail, one appetizer and an order of tacos with a bowl of soup, the check still came over $40.00. But we were very happy about their services, and we liked the Bang Bang Shrimps so its still not a bad experience. read more

Spot on with everything. Came here on Valentine's Day. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient and upbeat. Made the whole take out experience a breeze and quite frankly made me wish I could eat in. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Food came out delicious. Great location! read more

Honestly, I enjoyed the crab cake appetizer better than my entree or dessert. The crab cakes are great with minimal breading or filler, the rest of the meal was ok. I had a special of the night, North Atlantic Haddock with feta, artichoke and a butter sauce. It was ok, mashed potatoes were good. I'm a lifelong eater of seafood, and always thought Bonefish Grill had a wider aelection of fish, actually. Husband had surf and turf with filet mignon (kind of thin) and shrimp. Also ok. Dessert was a downer. They had strawberry shortcake as a special. With strawberries being in season, I was looking forward to this. Well it did have fresh strawberries, but they drowned them in the sugary syrup you cam buy to make pies. Way too sweet and totally unnecessary. We didn't finish it. For a $100 meal, I expected a little more. I was happy with the service though. Our server Leon was excellent. read more

Food: Allow me to be 100% transparent when I say that my boyfriend's first words when he saw where would be dining were, "I hate this place". By the time we left he let it be known that they had done a fine job of redeeming themselves! We began our evening with the beef pot stickers. They were delicious!! They came with six potstickers that were well sized! It was a great portion for the price. I love the slaw underneath, it was packed with incredible flavor. It came with a soy/ponzu glaze that was delicious! I ordered the cod imperial. I was a bit worried as I never order specialty dishes and play it safe with a plain fish. There were zero regrets with this one! I loved the shrimp, scallops, and cheeses baked into the fish. I would order this time and time again! -Forgot to add that the bread they bring out before appetizers is AMAZING! So delicious it's deadly, I will definitely be having to work off those two loaves this week! Drinks: We did sit at the bar because it was pretty packed and they had immediately available seating. We were helped by Gloria and she was incredible! I loved talking to her! She was extremely friendly, kind, and knew her drinks! She recommended the winter white martini which was absolutely smashing! I could've sat at that bar all night and drank these! My boyfriend had an old fashioned whiskey which he also deeply enjoyed. During the week they do happy hour and I would definitely be down to come back here and grab another martini! This might just be my newest go-to spot! A special thanks to Gloria for being so welcoming! read more

Went for a little impromptu date night and it all started well, the main reason we went was the bang bang shrimp which was delicious as always. The main course was a big miss for both my husband and I however. I got the bone fish pasta, might be their signature one, and it had ZERO flavor. Literally no flavor at all despite having sauce on it. The salmon it came with was at least good. My husband got shrimp with an oddly garlicky "Asian" coleslaw which was almost spicy, personally not a huge fan. The service was really great and the ambiance was as well. Would probably return for the shrimp but not much else read more

95 degrees outside so walked in and were comfortable. Beatrice our server was great. Started with pomegranate Martini....IMO bonefish has everyone else beat. Bread was great but dipping oil was extremely salty . Love the bang bang shrimp but was extremely spicy this time. Way to overseasoned. My wife only had 2 shrimp & couldn't have a 3rd. She had the salmon which was so overcooked had to send it back & asked for another. I had the Chilean sea bass fish was excellent however I asked for them to put sauce on should have had it on side. They drown it in a way too sweet mango salsa.....this was my fault....now we noticed how hot it was in the room...had to be 85....all employees fanning themselves with menus.....gotta say 1st all around disappointing experience in 25 years. read more

Good food but a bit higher in price. The service was top notch and the ambiance solid!

Like this location. Bar experience very good, recommend their smoked old fashion with choice bourbon. Cannot go wrong with bang bang shrimp as your appetizer choice. It's like every other chain. Decent food decent service. The restaurant is dark. But, it's a bone fish.

Bar staff is friendly and efficient. Meal presentation is appetizing and the food is good.

Always good food and good service. It's a great place for a sit down meal or if you just want to have drinks and app.

I usually don't give a low rate to a restaurant unless I'm really not happy about it. First we had a reservation for 7:30pm and we had to wait until 8pm to get seated. It wasn't because they get us a table but we went inside to ask why it took so long even we already reserved a table ahead of time. Once we got seated it took a long 10 minutes to be greeted. Well that's I understand maybe my server was busy, it's Friday night, no big deal. Then when my friend and I started our dinner, a hostess came up to us and asked if we move ourself to this table...ummm NO, you were the one who brought us here!! Okayyyy so talk about my food, most of them were good; crab cake was delicious with perfect amount of seasoning. Bang bang shrimp is always a must when I come to a Bonefish grill. Cod fish was nice with the seafood cream sauce on top. I paid $4 more to upgrade the side dish to my favorite bacon Mac & Cheese. (Not too salty I love it) I wish they have a mussel appetizer but they have a limited menu at the moment so I totally understand. Salmon with pasta on the daily special was very disappointed. The salmon was super dry that my friend and I couldn't eat it and I'm not even a picky person! We don't like to return the food back so I just packed it togo at the end for my dog. In the middle of our meal the server brought 2 take out boxes for us..why??? The food wasn't even half way done. You want to kick us out already?? For 2 of us we ordered food and drink worth $120, can we pls enjoy it?? It wasn't even close to the closing time! Overall it was a bad night here for us. Maybe it's just this location I don't know. I went to other locations and it's always good. I won't return to this location. read more

I normally enjoy my experience here and always leave satisfied but i guess it just wasn't there day... Getting a table was no problem it's what happened after that. We placed our dinner order and waited over an hour while watching 3 other tables that sat down after us get served. And when the food finally came out not only was it cold but the chicken marsala had NO mushrooms, the broccoli tasted like it came off of someone else's plate, the fish tasted like rubber, and the mashed potatoes were like hockey pucks. Very disappointed. read more

Reasonable specials $$ and happy hour to boot. We are returning for family meal and will have left overs for sure.

just ate there tonight with my family. We sat at a corner booth right behind the host stand. the night was going good with a little bit of slow service but totally understandable because it was busy. half way through eating our meals we notice out of the corner of our eye that there is a cockroach on our booth. we quickly get up to get out of the way and ask for boxes as well as the check. we let our server know and she just apologized. as someone who works in the service industry I was extremely disappointed with the way that they handled the situation and didn't even get a manager to speak to us. The food was decent but all lost our appetite once we realized we were sharing our table with a roach. read more

This place is amazing, I haven't been to it in a few years but it's just as good as I remember. Surprisingly on a Tuesday night there was a 30 minute wait but it wasn't that long it seemed as the time went by quickly. Once we were seated our waitress came over promptly end took our drink orders. I chose a glass of wine and it was very tasty. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer and they were perfectly cooked and The Spice level was superb. For my main entree I chose the Thermidor gnocchi which had chunks of lobster, shrimp, mushrooms and green peas mixed in with a cream sauce. The taste of everything was Blended so perfectly in the gnocchi was cooked to perfection. The desert we chose was the brownie with an ice cream scoop and while it was good, it was a little too chocolatey and fudgy so I was unable to eat it. Other than the desert and the prices of the entrees, which is expected because it's a seafood place, everything about this place is amazing and I can't wait to be back! read more

I came to Bonefish Grill for my mother's birthday dinner. Since we did not make a reservation, we had to wait for a little over an hour. The best experience here for me was the wait time. The outdoor sofas were very comfortable and I like that they have a waitress that brings you a drink and appetizer menu. We were able to enjoy cocktails and appetizers while we waited comfortably, and the time went by in no time. The staff was very attentive in seating us and taking our orders, and the restaurant was decorated nicely. What I did not enjoy was the food. For a seafood restaurant, I did not find the seafood to be very flavorful or enjoyable at all. Our meals were tasteless and the fish dry, which was as disappointing since I had high expectations for this restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant and I also won't be back. There are many other seafood restaurants that are worth the price and that deliver delicious food, so I would not visit Bonefish Grill again. read more

Had lunch with my mom and Aunt here, I've heard about Bonefish plenty of times but never made it in. Everyone raves about their bang bang shrimp so that was definitely on my list. We started off with Calamari for appetizers. They brought out complimentary bread with pesto and olive oil as well. The bread was good, calamari - I probably wouldn't get again. Was just really hard, like chewing croutons - maybe just a bad batch that was fried too long? Who knows, but the sauce paired with was yummy though. I also started with the bowl of corn chowder with lump crab, my mom got the cup portion. For $1 more the bowl was a better bang for your buck. Chowder was good, no complaints there - more corn notes than crab notes that's for sure. For our entrees, We split the bang bang shrimp tacos with a side of mashed potatoes then we got an additional side of the bacon mac and cheese. My Aunt ordered the fish & chips - she said they were good as well. The bang bang shrimp tacos were yummy, I didn't get the app portion of the bang bang shrimp but from the tacos I can see why they are a hit. The mashed potatoes were - just mashed potatoes lol nothing spectacular but I was pleasantly surprised by the bacon mac and cheese. Was really rich & creamy and the bacon complimented the dish with just a perfect amount of saltiness. Would for sure order that again. I ordered a margarita to drink and the glass was tilted - super cute but confused me before I even consumed the alcohol lol overall a good lunch date. Our server Jonathan was friendly and attentive and did a great job as well. :) read more

I went to bonefish last night with a friend to have a drink and quick dinner at the bar. When we arrived bartenders are in the corner talking. I didnt make light of it but after standing a few minutes I walked to them in a very nice polite way ( I am in the business) and asked if anyone was still sitting in the bar ( 2 chairs open and bar dirty) she said it was available. We stood a few minutes while they cleaned up the area for us to sit. Unfortunately, we got a terrible bartender all she wanted to do was leave, it was 10:30pm when we arrived and restaurant was still with guests eating and bar with minimum 10 people. The point is her vibe was "don't bother me I want to leave" she made that clear while she was cleaning up the bar and putting things away. Its just such a bad feeling trying to relax in my neigboorhood bonefish first night off I have in two months and get a treatment like this. I won't blame her all the way for me is bad management. That behavior should not be allowed and breaking down the bar while people are sitting and eating just gives a bad vibe to guests. We ended up skipping the dinner and dessert since she was in a hurry to break down her bar so we got one more drink and appetizers instead then we left. I wont be going back. Great food, great service, and great decor. That's what this restaurant is all about. We had the $55 dinner for two specific and it was absolutely delicious! They gave us Bang Bang Shrimp for the appetizer (one of their most popular appetizers) and we loved it. The spiciness was not overwhelming and the shrimp were juicy and savory. I had the dayboat scallops whereas my wife had the swordfish dish. They were both delicious! The scallops were pan-seared and glazed with a slightly sweet syrup, and cooked to perfection.
