Came to Bonefish in Weston for lunch and enjoyed our meal and service. The complimentary bread was great. The pesto and olive oil dip that goes with it made it even better. I ordered the Poke bowl and it was excellent. Tuna was fresh and it was a big portion. The veggies they had inside were a good mix. My friend ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos and loved them. It's their signature dish so we assumed it was good. He also substituted the regular fries for the crab fries which was a good call, they were great. The service was on point, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time given our party size. Very clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We didn't order any drinks but the cocktail menu looked awesome, bar is well stocked. Would definitely come back for lunch or even at night for dinner and drinks! read more

Server, very nice and attentive Food, I ordered the special of fish, scrimp, fries and coleslaw I was expecting 2 pieces of breaded cod like the advertised picture but I received two strings of fish with a lot of breading, shrimps with tons of breading soggy fries and a tiny container of coleslaw. What a disappointment! They were very busy so I dint make a fuss but I don't think I'm going back. This is the third time the food has not been as presented in the adds. My wife and I go to this restaurant all the time but we have noticed that it's gone down hill recently . We sat at the bar and ordered our food then waited for a while for our food. Then a couple sat next to us. Then after a while a server walked out and gave the guy next to us my wife's bang bang chicken then was trying to give the girl my grilled chicken as I was telling him that was my chicken and he still gave it to her but then she realized that it wasn't their food. The guy then handed the girl my wife's chicken and she slide it down the bar passed me to my wife. Then the server walked around me trying to give my chicken to my wife while I was telling him it was mine so at this point the guy has given my food to everyone but me and I already knew my wife wasn't going to eat her chicken that the other stranger had so I told the guy to just take the food back. Then he stood there staring at me like he was either mad at me or didn't know what to do for long enough that I had to ask him if he understood what I said. Then the one bartender who wasn't waiting on us but knows we are in there all the time went to the back i guess to get a manager. Then they brought the exact same food back out to us and tried to give it to us again. Then a manager, Andre walked out to the people next to us. Then they told him he was at the wrong people also so he came over and laughed and said he went to the wrong people and I told him that's exactly what the server did. Then he said, "You wanted to talk to me?" And I said I didn't ask to talk to you. And he asked me what happened. I told him they brought our food to the wrong people and I couldn't tell if the guy had eaten some of the food or not and they were touching our plates and breathing all over our food. The entire time the manager was standing behind us as we sat on the bar stools and he was right on top of us leaning on our chairs. At one point I continued to look forward and it got quit and he seemed almost upset that I wouldn't turn around to speak to him. If I did his face would have been inches from mine and I don't know why he didn't walk 5 feet around the bar to talk to us facing us across from the bar. My wife and I were very uncomfortable and I want turning my bad next around to talk to him. By this time the people next to us got their food even though they came in after us. I no longer wanted to stay and told him this. Had he maybe comped my wife's $5 martini I would have respected him trying to resolve it but he didn't even do that. He was totally unprofessional and ever since a few of the managers seemed to change or at least him the place which is in a real nice neighborhood has gone down hill. And the service from management is terrible! He was very unprofessional and rude. The worst was that it was like 9:30 pm on a Monday so by that time everything was closed and we went home after working hard all day starving. read more

Service was great , our server took our order and before we could ask for bread it was on the table . We never had to ask for anything more than once. It was like a half portion? The mac & cheese so dry. Asparagus was fresh. Gosh tasted frozen and was hard in places. But was mushy texture with a slime inside? Was very odd. We arrived at Bonefish Grill without a reservation. I did not know they took them but will remember that for the future. We were quoted a 10-minute wait and it turned into about 25 minutes. We were sat at a nice table in the middle of the dining room. Our server was very nice but never gave his name. We started off with complimentary bread which was served warm. I like the olive oil topping with herbs on the side. I ordered a filet mignon and it looks very well done in the photo. I actually ordered it medium and they cooked it just how I wanted it. It did not taste well done so it is sort of interesting that the outside looks so dark. It was delicious but was luke warm. I also ordered mashed potatoes with au gratin potatoes. The mashed potatoes were very hot and so were the au gratin potatoes. Unfortunately, the au gratin potatoes were not cooked enough. They were very chewy and should have been cooked longer. I ate some of it but was getting full. With this meal, you can either get a salad and a side or two sides. I paid additional for a salad because I was extra hungry and wanted two sides with a salad. The salad was very fresh and I enjoyed the dressing. I also ordered cheesecake for dessert and that was okay. Nothing special. I like the atmosphere of this restaurant. The bar area is really nice and they have a dimly lit. I will be back here again. read more

We love bonefish and every time we come the chef always agrees to make us the delicious old menu item: the wonderful wedge salad!!! For whatever reason bonefish took it off the menu, buuuuuut, we always ask our server to ask the chef if there would be so kind as to make it for us and each time they happily bring it to our table and we enjoy it every time!!!! Of course the bang bang shrimp and bang bang shrimp tacos are always fantastic and last time we tried the brussel sprout side dish, really good. We sat in the bar, it was walk in around 10:15 pm and it was nice. The lighting is nice and dim and our server was great. We love it here!!! read more

Bonefish Grill is one of those restaurants that I will go to on a special occasion and when I'm not there I constantly dream about it! The staff here was very attentive and we were seated rather quickly even though it seemed as if it was going to be insanely busy. Upon things that we work quickly greeted by our waiter who took our drink order and appetizer order and then brought it back rather quickly. The appetizer we chose for the table was the bang bang shrimp and it's fried shrimp tossed in a spicy style sauce and it is one of the best things they have on the menu in my opinion. It has the perfect amount a crunch and fish taste that is not overpowering at all. For my main dish I opted for the steak and mashed potatoes and the steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it to be and the mashed potatoes were seasoned perfectly. I do suggest if going on a Saturday evening to make a reservation ahead of time as it does fill up. The attire is casual to business casual. They offer sourdough bread complimentary, which is fluffy and delicious with there olive oil dip. The famous bang bang shrimp is a great starter, you can't go wrong. Seasoned well and coated in the bang bang sauce on top of a bed of lettuce. Its like what is bonefish grill without the bang bang shrimp for our entrees they have so many options, not just seafood but also American options as well, something for everyone. Prices rang from 15-30 per entree. I decided to try the chillean sea bass and had it grilled with the Asian sauce on top. The fish was fresh, delicious and juicy. For someone who can't eat a lot of salt you can just ask for it plain and you will still enjoy your meal. For our next entree we tried the ahi tuna steak special which was a nice size ahi tuna steak topped with a mango ansian sauce. It was delicious. Love love love bonefish grill. I'm here a few times a month. It's a regular on the girl's night drink spot. I have friends who love the fish dishes & desserts, but my go to is Always the Josephine Muscles & martinis . I would give one more star if the drinks were slightly cheaper, but I mean it's also worth it. They have fantastic dirty martinis, as well as several sweeter & seasonal options. My friend is about addicted to the espresso martinis. It's a great spot for a date night or celebration meal as well as for a business lunch or after work drink. This used to be a decent place in this area to have a good lunch or dinner but honestly, I don't care how good the food might taste - if I have to question the cleanliness of any place that serves food than it's a NO for me. The bathroom was just dirty looked as it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. I was uneasy when I was at the table with my husband because if a bathroom is dirty I just have to question how clean can the kitchen be? As I sat there I couldn't help but to notice the huge window that we sat next to and immediately just saw a pile of dead flies and bugs just laying there with huge amounts of dust!! Disgusting!!! The table that was next to mine had been closed off due to "social distance" but there was a dirty long dripping stain running down the side of the white table cloth. The light fixture above our table looked as it had never been dusted or cleaned ever. I couldn't help but to just look at everything and it was just horrible! The lack of proper management is beyond visible and so disturbing that no one that works here even cares about how dirty this restaurant is. I mentioned it to our waitress and her response was "she didn't even notice" I was just baffled. I have seen fast food places in better conditions than this restaurant and especially during these times there is absolutely no excuse for not being clean. No hand sanitizer no where- just all around disgusting. I couldn't even enjoy my food properly just wondering and thinking about how dirty the kitchen properly was. Needless to say we won't be coming back here. Dear Management, I highly suggest that you take accountability for how dirty this restaurant is and fix it!! It is beyond embarrassing to serve food in such filth. I suggest that placing hand sanitizers at every table is necessary as well as investing in good cleaning and dusting products!! read more

Today's experience at Bonefish Grill was all over the place. I have eaten here a few times in the past and was pleased with it. I ordered the Lily's chicken with sauteed spinach and garlic whipped potatoes. In fact, this is probably the only thing I've ordered at Bonefish Grill. I just love goat cheese and that is a big component of the Lily's chicken. Today, the goat cheese was just as fresh and plentiful as usual. But the sauce just wasn't right. It was wimpy and lacking flavor. Overall, the chicken was fine but it has been better in the past. They used to have au gratin potatoes which was delicious but they replaced them with this whipped potato concoction. It is very average in my opinion. So was the sauteed spinach. It totally reminded me of the bagged Publix brand spinach I buy. The spinach was not cooked fully and there was barely any garlic. My whole meal was just okay today. I ordered chocolate chip cookies to bring home and those were excellent. They were freshly baked and very tasty. My friend ordered the sirloin with an added lobster tail. She also got the house salad with she loved. She loved the sirloin steak and thought it was cooked just right. She agreed with me about the potatoes not being their best. Her main issue was the lobster. She took one bite and really could not eat it. It had an odd flavor. We told our server Lorenzo, who is very helpful and caring. He asked if she wanted something else or if she wanted it comped off the bill. We assumed he meant the lobster tail which was about a $9 charge. When we got the bill, the only thing that was charged was my meal, wine and the cookies I ordered to take home. We were both very impressed. She really did enjoy most of her meal except for the lobster. They did not have to comp the whole meal. It was very generous. I am going with 4 stars because normally I really love their food. Just like with dinner, they give you a bread presentation that is one of the best in South Florida. Had a small Caesar Salad- just great! I keep coming back every once in a while just to remember why I don't come here. This is just a fancy, overpriced seafood version a Chili's style restaurant. Nothing fresh always frozen. Living in South Florida I was hoping to see some local fresh fish or anything on the menu. Sadly the menu was almost exacly the same as it has been for years. No local offerings and nothing nothing fresh. On a good note the beer was cold but limited on selection, and the bar was above par. So if you like Bonefish you will be happy to know it's exactly the same. There is something to be said about consistency after all. A chain is a chain but we all know that not all locations are equal. This is the first Bonefish location I ever visited years ago. Unfortunately, it is not my favorite Bonefish. 3 1/2 stars. I have been here recently for a few meals. I do like a recent menu addition, the Salmon Superfood Salad. With romaine & kale, ancient grains?, feta, pickled onions, sweet potato bites, in a house vinaigrette, this salad has a lot going on, but somehow it works. The only part of the salad that does not always work is the salmon. One time the salmon was perfectly prepared. Another time, it was way over done. This Bonefish seems to have an issue with temperature. Recently I ordered the Ahi Tuna. I did order it rare but it was served ice cold. 13 year old thought his Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout was over cooked and flavorless. We did enjoy the Bang Bang Shrimp we shared. That seems to be one Bonefish dish you can never go wrong with! Others in our group enjoyed their dishes including scallops, plain trout, and chicken teriyaki bowl. Service is always conscientious. Nevertheless with all the mishaps over several visits, I can't give this Weston location the same four stars I gave to the Plantation location. read more

I went to an event they had today , compliment food and drinks . It would have been better if the waiter was better. The waiter did come up to us often to ask if we needed anything but he seemed like he didn't want to be there. He told us you can only try one drink and one food item but we noticed other tables getting samples of everything. The food portion was good but the drink was very small. This used to be fine dining and has now become Red Lobster in disguise. Walking in we asked to sit in a big booth but were told as they sat us at a table for 4 that "those booths are for parties of 6." Thirty seconds later they sat a party of 3 in the booth we had asked about. And every other similar booth had 3 people in it as well. We were a party of 4. Then we ordered the Calamari appetizer that we get every time. They're normally always huge (the size of quarters). This time they were so small it looked like scraps, no bigger than dimes. After a bit we noticed we had no bread and they used to always bring bread with oil to dip in. We asked our waitress and she said she could bring some bread. We then looked around and noticed there was no bread at all the tables. So it's safe to assume they now don't bring you bread unless you ask, which is a downgrade and does not equate with fine dining. It instead is an attempt to cut down on costs eliminating part of the dining experience. At the end of the day this many faults in one evening is no coincidence. Not a good experience. Straws were forgotten, steak knives weren't provided, additional food that was not asked for was brought to the table and charged. Received appetizers before bread and drinks/water. Employees seemed very unorganized and floor was wet. Other Bonefish locations are not like this.
