Bonefish is generally good and consistent. This trip in was no exception. Our server was awesome. I will say that the corporate playlist they're rocking absolutely sucks. It's a form of bad pop that nobody, even the employees (we asked) like. Very chaotic and lacking for any musical quality. Is it that music these days sucks or is it the corporate DJ that sucks? This crappy music made the meal tip toward marginal and all I can say is... those poor employees. I feel bad for the people that have to work and marinade in that awful sound all day every day. We ordered this on Uber Eats and wow were we shocked at how delicious the meal was!!! Wow the salmon was moist tender and good size portion. The chicken with artichoke hearts was flavorful and filling. We ate both plates in there entirety. Highly recommend this place based on this delivery meal and look forward to eating there in person. The only good thing was the attentive waiter. We ordered some bang bang crab fries which we're supposed to be topped with lump crab meat and I could barely recognize it. It looks like a little bits of snow, was okay. I ordered a cob salad. Needless to say it was gross slathered in dressing overly sweet. Not one bit of green on it. Iceberg lettuce was pathetic. Thankfully the waiter took it back and took off charge. Then I tried some chowder which tasted like the bag. What made this experience a one star, is that is all that she ordered and everyone was finished with their meal by the time she received her food. When we go out and pay top dollar for drinks and dinner, we expect everyone at our table to enjoy their meal at the same time. I have been here 4 or 5 times and always leave impressed with the service, food and efficient. My most recent visit was on Easter with 18 people. To be able to accommodate that many people on such a busy day and do it in a calm, efficient, friendly and timely service was amazing. The food was so good, appetizers, meal and desert. Excellent food and service! I had the mussels Florentine for an appetizer with the crusty bread. Yum! The server suggested the Sonoma Chardonnay and it was a perfect pairing with my crab topped sea bass! My husband chose the pot stickers. This was my first visit to a Bonefish anywhere, and I left underwhelmed by my steak and lobster dinner ($31). The sirloin steak was thin and dry, the lobster was a touch undercooked, the broccoli had the strangest flavor notes (I was left wondering whether or not they were intentional), the spinach left a strong chalky feeling in my mouth, and the bread was a little stale. By comparison, I'd had the $16 steak and lobster special at Outback the week prior, and that was a superior experience at half the cost. I don't love bread, but the complimentary bread that BFG serves is fantastic! If you are looking for a great app BFG's Bang Bang Shrimp is legendary, and no one else's imitation of it could hold a candle.i also love their crab cakes! They put so much crab in their crab cakes. I have never had a bad meal at Bonefish. From grilled to fried, they have some solid choices. They also have amazing soups, salads and sides. I really like their Daily Specials! They have some creative offerings on their daily menu. And can I just tell you I was genuinely surprised that BFG has a really good Cabernet Sauvignon for less than $7 per glass. They have a really good selection of wine no matter what your flavor, though. We also enjoyed an amazing carrot cake there. Sounded amazing silky cream sauce was lumpy gravy! The whipped garlic potatoes needed gravy or liquid of some kind. They were dry and pasty. And the pork chop although bone in was riddled with fat. So disappointing. I was also surprised to see that they deleted the au gratin potatoes. So you had Jasmine rice and the whipped potatoes to choose from. Food was decent. Service was slow! We were there at 4 oclk, so not a busy time!! Yet, our waitress was all over the place, except our table! We were forgotten more than once. The pasta was meh. No outstanding flavors. Crab cake was fishy and fell apart. Steak was okay. Once again, nothing to write home about. The salmon my friend got was good. The one that wanted to go to bonefish enjoyed. First, I must say that my server tonight, Julia, was wonderful. And the food was hot and delicious. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and it was soft and amazing. For my entree, I ordered the signature pasta with shrimp and it was tasty - a tad dry but otherwise it was good. Nice flavor. However, the number of employees who stood around watching TV in the bar area where I was sitting, gabbed, and paid no attention to customers was astonishing. I sat for ten minutes in a booth and none of these folks came to my table or even noticed I was there. I was trying to make eye contact and finally had to wave my arm to get someone to notice me. And then the person who came over said they would go get someone...which is when Julia arrived. Horrible experience from start to finish, came in for work and before sitting explained to the host that I was here for work, needed to make sure they have wifi - host explained they did have wifi and instructed me how to access it. I sat down at the bar and the bar tender informed me that was inaccurate and there is no wifi. My appetizer salad and my entree of ahi tuna steak came out within 5 minutes of each other, the bar tender offered to send it back to the kitchen to hold it but I declined as I didn't want it to sit under the heat lamp. Manager, Clay, came over and offered the same, after I said I would just leave a bad review he then offered to make a new tuna. Made a reservation the first time I tripped into this location & truly nothing a breath short of quaint, cozy, accommodating host & wait staff. The crusty on the outside & ohh so soft loaf of bread with olive & luxurious spices is worth the trip alone... Trust, do not skip it please unless allergies prohibit... Wine list is fabulous & every part of the team is beyond knowledgeable regarding their wine selections & have sampled & are able to speak to potential pairings with your entree or app. The only reason & sigh, truly, truly adore this place that I veer from 5 star is the food is very good fare but, just teeters on the slippery edge of excellence for me due to lack of an essence of appropriate seasoning for some dishes & some just waning when others are spectacular. Swordfish showcases nicely & the rice side is a nice congruent couple hitting all spectrums of the palate. The spinach side lacks seasoning & was too wet for my taste. Burgers here are surprisingly grand & worth the $$! The crab cakes although suggested; are not cake & more more of a mush with a speckling of crispy breading. ( They do not stay together as a cake). But, let me start with all of the positives of Bonefish. Positives They appetizers are fantastic! You can not go wrong with the Bang Bang Shrimp or the Potstickers. Some times I have a hard time deciding & get both! Also, I love that I can make a same day reservation on my phone from their app. Finally, my favorite entree to get is the lobster tail with au gratin potatoes. Negative They had a lobster roll on their special menu & when I saw it I was so excited about it & knew that was what I wanted! It looked good when it arrived however upon taking my first bite it was disgusting. It had so much lettuce & celery in it that that was all you could taste. The lobster even tasted like celery. We dined at Bonefish Grill last night. We ordered two appetizers, bam bam shrimp (great) and pot stickers (horrible, couldn't eat them. They had no flavor). We had ordered salad and soup as our entrees. We received the soup (1/2 bowl for the price of a full bowl) and cold. We sent the soup back to be heated. It was slightly warm. The soups and salads arrived long before our apps. We had to ask for bread. It arrived after the soups were warmed. We each had a cocktail. Our dinner was $93 and tasted terrible.
