I came here with some family that came into town to visit a little over a week ago. It was my first time here and it was great. WAIT: We came here on a Thursday night around 6:45ish. We were told there would be at least a 30 minute wait. It definitely seemed like a crowded, happening spot. We were able to find a spot to sit down near the bar area. Then only about 15 minutes later at most, we were seated. That is always a nice surprise to get seated sooner. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The host and our waiter both had great customer service. Our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and personable. FOOD: The food was very delicious. This is what our table ordered: Bread with Olive Oil & Pesto: Yummy. All tables get this. Crab Cakes: Appetizer. This was good. Salmon in a Lemon Butter Sauce: very good. Kids Grilled Chicken: she ate it, so assuming she liked it haha. Crab Encrusted Orange Roughy with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Broccoli - yummy Spicy Tuna Bowl: this is what I got and it was so delicious. Nom nom nom. BEST. SEAFOOD. EVER. I could end the review there, as anything else I say can't improve on that. We started with the ceviche, which was excellent if maybe too many hot peppers. Really delicious and a fantastic appetizer to share, though we couldn't feel our lips after. My wife ordered the Mahi Lobster Thermidor, which she said that was the best she had *ever* had. Lots of lobster, served on top of a decent sized piece of mahi mahi with some whipped potatoes. My fish tacos were amazingly delicious. It was simply unfortunate that there were only two. The hand-made chips that came with it were just right. For dessert, we had the "special", a chocolate creme brulee that was topped with a bit of real whipped cream (not the stuff from a can!) and a small pouring of Grand Marnier. A good portion, plenty to share with two spoons. The service was very good, the food was plated well and served hot. I may have just ordered the wrong menu items because I thought the food was average. The service was great - friendly and nice - and the ambiance was pretty nice. For a few moments, I almost forgot I was in Rogers, AR! In addition to a few glasses of wine, we had the ahi tuna appetizer and the bang bang shrimp. I thought the ahi tuna appetizer was a little overcooked (I like mine pretty rare) and overly "crusted" with sesame seed stuff, but generally pretty good. The bang bang shrimp was actually quite good - but it's deep fried shrimp with a tangy mayo sauce; how could it NOT be good? For dinner, I had the butter fish with lemon butter sauce, and my fish was really over-cooked; it was almost tough. :-( Made me sad because I love the butter fish... I got the potatoes au gratin on the side - delish. As Josie M. said, it is a GREAT deal. If you go, I would just ask to have your fish cooked on the rare side... Also, I was surprised that we needed reservations! Somebody told me to make reservations, and I didn't think I'd actually need them. My tuna was severely overcooked. I requested it to be simply seared. It was not even slightly red! Horrible. Worst meal I've had there. Then my wife had the sea bass. It was also very overcooked. For a chain they are consistently good on the food. Recently my husband ordered the pork chop as he is not quite the "fish" connoisseur. It was about 3 inches thick but cooked perfectly. My grilled tilapia wasn't as flaky as I would have liked and while "grilled' appeared to have sat in some oil so the texture to me was off. I was disappointed in the seasonal watermelon martini. It had little flavor of watermelon and all of that of cucumber and I am not sure it had any alcohol in it. Have they always put brown paper on the tables? The service was great and attentive but my biggest complaint is the noise level. This place is so small and tables are jammed on top of each other. It was quite a task to get to the restroom and back without having to "squeeze" in between chair backs and brush up against people. If you are looking for a more intimate setting and one you can have a conversation without listening to the people next to you, this is not the place to go. read more

The atmosphere at Bonefish reminds me of a restaurant in LA. I love that we have great options like this in NWA. This is a wonderful place for date night. We met another couple for dinner and drinks and it was perfect. Roomy, comfortable seating and nice lighting. We really enjoyed the mojitos and the chocolate espresso martinis rimmed with crushed sugar and espresso beans. They had some really good fish options- I was drawn to the potstickers and bang-bang shrimp and was not disappointed. It's a bit pricey, but it was expected of a higher end seafood restaurant. I have been to this restaurant two times. The first was with a party of 10 I was hosting. The staff was attentive, food was great, and the timing was very good. The second time I went I sat in the bar area with some coworkers. The staff was very good again. The ahi tuna is one of my favorites along with the bang bang shrimp. This review is long overdue. It was my first time here and I decided to call in a to-go order. It was a simple order of the chowder and salad. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes so I get there around that time. The order was still not ready, the order apparently "got lost". Finally after another 20-30 minutes I got my order. Keep in mind it wasn't even busy. I got in the car and my instincts told me I better check my order. Sure enough, the soup was clumpy and luke warm! And the salad looked awful. After waiting a total of 40-50 minutes I would've expected better. So I went back in and asked for a hot soup. I wasn't going to eat the salad already. I asked to speak with the manager, which I could tell he knew what was going on since I was watching him but avoided the situation. He didn't apologize (lack of professionalism and poor management) but said he'll take it off my bill. There never was a credit from this restaurant on my credit card statement. I eventually threw the entire food away when I got to my hotel and got something else that was more appetizing. It was such a disappointing experience that even my entire project team avoided going here. read more

Just took my family to Bonefish Grill last night to celebrate 3 birthdays. This was my first time back in over a year, as my previous experiences had all been great. Unfortunately, this was not our experience last night. Let me start by saying I believe our waiter really tried to help us and his attitude was great. Now the bad news; it started with confusion on who would be our waiter and we ended waiting 15 minutes for the hostess to ask if we had seen anyone yet. After finally getting a waiter we ordered our dinners and one came wrong, so one ate after the family was finished. The food was actually very disappointing across 4 out of 5 meals. Even the Bang Bang Shrimp was not the same as in the past. The waiter knew we were disappointed and gave the three birthday adults a free cheesecake-nice touch by him. Too bad we will probably not go back, just plenty of better options at similar prices. Hope your experience is better than ours, could have been just a bad night? read more

Super bland fish. I got salmon. My friend got Ahi. Both were not worth eating. The spinach side was inedible. Coleslaw inedible. Service underwhelming. I had to ask for the specials and salt, which never came. Even at a quarter of the price it was not worth it. Oh and I asked for Decaf coffee, which I am quite sure was fully caffeinated. This is one of the best restaurants in NWA. Tonight we ordered grilled shrimp skewers, crab cakes, steak and salmon and all were perfectly prepared and delicious. They still tried to sit us at the table all the way in the back next to the bathrooms, and when we said we'd prefer another location, they tried to sit us at the table next to the swinging door from the kitchen where they bring out the food. I had to insist to get a proper table - again, when the place was nearly empty. Then, when I ordered sweet iced tea, the waiter brought unsweetened tea, when I ordered garlic mashed potatoes as one of the sides, instead I got jasmine rice. The food was good - Mahi Mahi, Shrimp, and Chilean Sea Bass for the two of us - but the service was terrible. Even though BoneFish is a chain restaurant, this location feels like a one of a kind place. The bar side of the restaurant tends to get a little crowded, especially on Friday and Saturday night but it's fun and the service is great. The restaurant side is quieter with a great feel to it. They always have a specials menu that changes every few months so you can always have something different when you come in. This includes martinis! The tropicheat martini is my favorite. We've been coming to this BoneFish for years and some of the same wait staff and bartenders are still there! You always get consistent, reliable and enjoyable service. read more

I took my girl friend to the Rogers Arkansas Bonefish Grill last Saturday November 11, 2023. I had ordered the Swordfish with pumpkin ravioli and balsamic rice. My girl friend just had a small shrimp appetizer. On arrival to our table the dinners were barely warm. The rice and ravioli was good even though it was cool however the Swordfish was awful! It was drastically overcooked and it was soft and mushy. There was no grain or texture to it as is normal for swordfish. The look of it inside of this swordfish was like it was ground swordfish pressed together and 1/2" thick at best! For over $27 you would expect to have swordfish steak the way it should be served and hot as well! With the tip our total bill was over $120. This is the second time we have had a disappointing experience at this Bonefish Grill! We won't be going back anytime soon and I could not recommend this Bonefish Grill to anyone! read more

We have found our new favorite restaurant! Everything was perfect! We started with the Bang Bang shrimp and Apple Martini. I had the swordfish with pumpkin ravioli's, and my husband had the Ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was delicious. Went here for our anniversary lunch, We had to take our baby (8 months old) because we are form out of town. The place really clean even the bathrooms! We had bang bang shrimp, it was so yummy! I might have eaten more then my hubby. I had salmon Oscar style. Some of te beat salmons I've had! My husband had a bone in ribeye, which he said was also great! For dessert we had 3 donuts that you fill with chocolate or caramel with little injectors! So good! We had a great food experience! My husband also forgot his credit card there, he called they saved it. I got out to get it because baby was asleep, they asked for my ID. Great service! Came here for a ladies luncheon, we had the choice of fish or chicken. I ordered the chicken, it was incredible! I wasn't expecting the greatest dish or even that great of service due to being there with a group of at least 100 ladies. They however were incredible, the plates magically arrived in front of you and then disappeared just as quietly. The carafes on the table also magic filled them selves. The staff was professional and polite never getting in the way yet always making sure you were taken care of. Great experience can't wait to try it again with the family. read more

A couple weeks ago we had a 45 minute wait because there were dozens of high school kids for homecoming. Boyfriend took me on a date here and we were very shocked at how amazing the food and service was. Definitely kinda pricey ($70 for 2 including sodas and dessert) but worth it!!! The red snapper was amazing but was sadly a fish of the day (meaning they don't have it all of the time). The water is served triple filtered and 35 degrees (tasted amazing.)
