This was our first visit and upon arrival on a Saturday night around 7:30 we were told it would be an hour wait if not longer. We didn't mind because the Bar had two empty seats! We didn't even have one sip of our drinks when our little buzzer went off because our table was ready!! I was shocked! We sat at a table and had AMAZING service from our waiter, Tyler. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food he recommended was amazing and the spacing between apps, salad, entree was just right! We will absolutely be back! Bonefish Grill - Grey Goose Dirty Martini with Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives - Seafood Near Me - Marlton, New Jersey

Mother's Day 2k18. We made reservations for brunch at Bonefish Grill, as to avoid any wait. Our server was efficient and knowledgable. I ordered the half-pound Wagyu beef burger minus the tomato and pickles with a side of French fries. I highly recommend it. I have had it multiple times in the past, but this by far was the best burger that I have eaten from there. read more

We waited about 25 minutes around 7:30 on a Friday night...Not too bad. I chose this place because someone recommended it due to their fresh seafood. The bang bang shrimp was out of this world..yummy.. It's on the spicy side so for those of you who can't take spice, sorry. We also had crab cakes. They were devoured in minutes. Another, yum! The table bread with the pesto oil was also very tasty. Next, we had salads. The hubby really liked his Caesar but I was under-impressed with the house salad. The best thing in there was the kalamata olives. Then our entrees came..I ordered the special which I was warned not to do because of the tiny portions they give you. And they were right. My seafood risotto was like an appetizer size but I didn't fuss because I was full. It was a tad bit salty but still very tasty. The hubby had the chicken teriyaki. He said he would order it again. We finished off with the Jamaican coconut pie...I'm a coconut lover so I absolutely loved this dessert. It has a really good rum sauce that just put it over the edge..OMG yummy. The service was excellent and very attentive. All around great experience. I'll be back for sure. read more

The food is great, service is stellar. A crowded restaurant is a good restaurant! Strongly suggest making reservations. If not the wait can be quite long. read more

We came on a Tuesday night when they serve their 3 course for $14.90 and up. You will get your choice of salad, entree, and dessert, all for a set price. Added bonus, for $6 more you can add their famous Bang Bang Shrimp! The options are pretty decent. I opted for the Atlantic Salmon with mango salsa, which came with two sides. This was VERY GOOD. Usually I would not order salmon at restaurants because they typically taste bland, but having the mango salsa on top gave it a great flavor! Hubby got the pecan parmesan crusted rainbow trout and just thought that was okay. We both added bang bang shrimp to our meals and the size of it for an extra $6 was LARGE! You could probably just order one to share for 2 people. I also had a bowl of the corn chowder with lump crab, and barely tasted any crab which was a bit of a disappointment. However, we were both so stuffed by the end of the appetizers, we barely touched our entrees and we had to take the desserts home. The delicious warm bread that came in the beginning also didn't help either! Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend coming on Tuesday nights to get the most bang for your buck! Service was great and attentive. A++ I do wish this location would be able to make reservations via OpenTable, however I wasn't able to find them on the app, while other locations were easy peasy. Strange. read more

Came on a Wednesday for the Bang Bang Shrimp special. Of course, amazing as always. For my entree, I got the sirloin & crab cake. Asked for well-done on my steak & it came out seeping blood.... how lovely (you can sort of see the blood in the picture and that was before more seeped out). It started absorbing into my mashed potatoes so at that point, the waitress suggested I just get my whole order redone. By the time it came out, my father was done with his meal. But I must say, they did redeem themselves and the manager brought it out nicely! Turned out to be good! Also got the caramel apple lava cake, a specialty dessert that night. Super amazing and the portion was gigantic, which in my eyes is a good thing! read more

We have been going to the bonefish grill in Marlton NJ for the last 5 years. The food is always fresh. My personal favorites are the bang bang shrimp appetizer and the grilled salmon dinner. The jasmine rice they serve with the salmon is perfectly cooked and very fresh tasting. I wish I could recommend a desert but I always seem to be too full to eat another thing. The only reason I gave a four rather than five star is that the host could be a little bit more friendly when customers check in. Other than that no complaints. read more

Yummy and fresh! Perfect for a moderate date night or dinner with the family. I have been here twice so far and have enjoyed it both times. Tonight we went for a last minute date night. It is a Wednesday night at 5:30pm and we got seated right away. If you are going on a weekend night or holiday you should get a reservation because I bet this place gets packed. I ordered a Parker's margarita which I would definitely recommend. For an appetizer we had the wagu pot stickers which were yummy. I am not a big fish eater so I ordered Lilly's Chicken for my entree which is topped with spinach, goat cheese, and artichokes. It was very well made and the soft goat cheese on top was my favorite. Our waitress even said that it was her favorite dish on the menu. read more

I can't believe I've never tasted this restaurant until recently. I've only had the happy hour menu food which were ALL good!! I will be back soon to sample other menu items but Bonefish where have you been all my life? Why haven't I tried you sooner? Food is so darn good!! read more

I have to change my review of this restaurant I ordered just an order of Bang Bang Shrimp for take out. Hostess was very nice and I asked for some bread to go with that order. The bread was as hard as a brick, the bang bang shrimp were just thrown in there with what looked like a two day old salad that was sitting out in the kitchen. And could they have spared the sauce for the shrimp. I wish I would have taken a picture of this mess. read more

We ordered one of the bundles tonight , bang bang shrimp tacos , great deal ! Came with all the fixings for the tacos , salad and cookies . My son picked up the food and there was no salad . I called and the manager drove it too us , so appreciate the gesture , truly meant a lot right now during covid 19 . Congratulations to professionalism ! Great meal ! read more

This was my first time dinning in at Bonefish and the experience was fantastic. For starters make a reservation because this place tends to get pretty crowded. I walked in and was seated right away. Then our waiter came and he was amazing. He knew everything about the menu, and explain to us the food in detail. He knew what he was talking about and made the experience even better. After you give your waiter/waitress your drink order they give you their bread and olive oil which was amazing. The bread was served warm and it wasn't overpowering. Then the waiter came and took our order for the appetizer and we ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp which was AMAZING!! If you order it get the sauce on the side because the sauce is a little thick. But it was still delicious regardless. This is something you have to order when you go there, and it is consider one of their most popular menu item. Halfway through the appetizer we ordered our dinner. I ordered the sirloin and crab cake with a side of their season vegetables and sautéed spinach. The steak was cooked just the way I liked it(medium) and the crab cake just melted in my mouth. They had this sauce to pair with the crab cake which had a little kick to it, but it was delicious and paired nicely with the crab cake. Overall, everything I ordered was amazing and it hit the spot. The one thing that I liked about Bonefish was they timed out the portions very well. What I mean was I didn't feel rushed eating. They gave us enough time to finish our appetizer before we received our entree. Which is nice because some places you visit tend to rush you. This experience was amazing, and I could tell it was going to be the moment I walked thru the door. I will be coming back to Bonefish, and it is now one of my favorite restaurants. read more

Always a fan favorite to this spot it's always on point. We went for their summer boil, which was filled with crab legs, shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn, and potatoes! The only thing was the mussels were really over cooked, besides that it was all very good and would definitely be back for the boil. I usually get their shrimp and scallops meal which is always good but we decided to switch it up. The service is always great and the food is always good! read more

Pretty much what one expects out of a mid- to high-end chain restaurant. We had a reservation, luckily, because this would not have been worth the 70-minute Friday night wait. Tilapia with mango salsa, broiled cod, and tilapia imperial...all were decent, but quite forgettable. The corn chowder with crab meat was a nice appetizer - hearty consistency, rich flavor. Friendly service, but I won't be rushing back here. ....they did play "Young Blood" by The Naked and Famous at one point, so that deserves an honorary quarter star for music taste read more

Then only reason I gave this place a star to begin with is for the bang bang shrimp. Terrible management, slow service. We paid for the "endless bubbles" aka bottomless mimosas and after 2 could tell they were using seltzer. Much better options in the area. For brunch specifically, Redstone and The Turning Point are solid choices. read more

If you want to be ignored by this pack of dumb-dumbs behind the bar or the random wandering clueless "wait staff" - have at it. Soggy, overpriced matter. A bit about our Father's Day experience. We arrived at 8 pm, we were provided with a buzzer and told about an approximate 1/2 hour wait. Ok. My Father-in-law and I went to the bar and ordered cocktails. The bartender then went to the end of the bar and chit-chatted with a group, exchanging looks at pics on iPhones, while we and 6 others at the other end of the bar sat with empty glasses in disbelief. Her manager asked her to cash out the drawer and he chatted with the same group while she did so. Never offering us a drink or at least an announcement that there would be further delays. When she returned, I told her I'd been waiting over 15 minutes for a refill and she seemed surprised herself that she was clueless for that long. Der. When I finally went to our table where my family was already working on an app due to the bar delay, the hostesses made no effort to help as I searched the room and had to locate them in yet another dining room. Now, to the meal. My family seemed to enjoy the Bang Bang Shrimp app, but when our entrees arrived, the french fries were old and dried out, Fish n chips fish batter was soggy, my son's burger was thrown together and cooked med-rare (he ordered well) and my wife's salmon was way over sauced. Once done, we waited for our check so long, I had to stand by the table for 5 minutes to signal the staff of dolts that we were ready to pay and leave. Amazingly clueless and careless staff. read more

My family and I came to this restaurant as a suggestion from the bartender who worked at the hotel we were staying at. The ambiance is very nice inside and it was extremely diverse. However we were unimpressed with the food, see below. 1) we ordered fried calamari which was chewy and came with an Asian style sweet sauce which we did not like. 2) we ordered a Hawaiian martini. It was extremely sweet...we did not taste any alcohol at all. 3) our waiter was OVERLY friendly if you know what I mean.... 4) my husband ordered the most expensive steak on the menu which was suggested by our waiter....the quality of the steak was poor he was not impressed. My lobster tail broccoli and mashed potatoes were pretty good. My kids enjoyed there meals as well (Mac and cheese and fish sticks). All in all if we are ever in the area again I would not come back. read more

This location is consistently spot on with their service and food. Their fish always taste fresh, great flavor combinations, and a great place for a date night or out with friends. Serving sizes are perfect. Highly suggest making reservations because there were many times that I came that I had to wait 20 plus minutes. If you have a group of 4 or more I would definitely make reservations. Parking can get crazy since it is adjacent to Fleming's. Definitely worth stopping by. read more

The Lobster Fest thing isn't nearly as good as it proclaims to be. We ordered two lobster tails a la carte, and they were dry, rubbery and lacked any noticeable lobster flavor. What a waste, unfortunately. On the plus side, we did enjoy every other dish. The saucy shrimp appetizer was mind-blowing! The bang bang tacos were solid, although it is odd that they only serve you two (2) tacos for dinner? The asparagus and salmon salad was plentiful, however it didn't have any fennel like the menu said. The house merlot was pretty decent & not acidic. Service could use work, too, but it's always iffy here. We had our table crowded with empty plates & empty glasses.... And as usual, our waiter was nowhere to be found. Overall, a good place to go to, if you get lucky with your entree choice and if you get a good server. read more

Ok I read mixed reviews on here but went based on the enthusiasm of the positive reviews. We went on a Friday. 30 minute wait, but I was ok with that based on it being Friday. (like that is not the reason for 2 stars). drinks were good, margarita was tasty. I've heard a bazillion mentions about bang bang shrimp on the radio, so maybe my expectations were high. but it's basically fried shrimp in a remoulade sauce with butter. Like folks raved about the sauce and I'm guess they have never had a remoulade. ok I know this sounds like pure food snobbery. at home I pan fry or grill shrimp with a Cajun rub, then dip in a remoulade (base is Dijon and mayo, some relish, dash of hot sauce) and wowie, very tasty. The corn and crab chowder was good, not great, lacked some seasoning in my opinion. a tad bland. now for the fish. ok if I go to a fish place and they over cook my fish I am gonna be let down. I had the haddock with bread crumbs over mashed. and yes it was left in the oven a couple minutes too long. so it was dry. like not the driest I've ever had but wow I'm starting to think I can really cook fish based on what I was served. I haven't overcooked fish like that in a long time. so if I go back I probably would opt for the "hand food" ie fish tacos or burger and try those. obviously redstone is pricier but I had some fish at redstone that was melt in your mouth good, when you see the hefty price tag and say "yeah that was worth it." my wife was also underwhelmed by her dinner. like not a place I'm rushing to get back to.... read more

We had made reservations for 5 at 5:30. Walked in at 5:30, table was ready. Our server Domonique greeted us and started us off with a loaf of warm bread. He was great the whole visit. We all decided on the Hooked on Tuesday specials. Couldn't resist the deal. Three of us ordered the Shrimp and Scallops, one ordered the 6 oz Sirloin, the last ordered the Grilled Tuna. The included salads were just large enough and fresh. All of the meals and sides were cooked to perfection and VERY good. We did the Bang Bang Shrimp $6 add on and shared. Delicious. All we had was soft drinks and water so can't review the bar. Time for desert. We chose the Brownies and Cheesecake. Both were decent size and very good as well. At the end of the meal I mentioned to the waiter that I was treating myself and family for my birthday. I told him I was happy with the choice I made to go to the Bonefish. He asked me to wait a few minutes as he wanted to get me a birthday gift. I laughed and said that's ok, but he insisted. He came back with a card and a free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer card good for 3 months. We will be back!!! read more

Had the house special for 2 people tonight. The appetizer and salads were good. The fish seafood and steak course was extremely over cooked and over seasoned. I think the ah tuna was ahi last week. And the beef tips ... did not touch the shrimp and salmon. $72 with 2 glasses of house wine and a tip. read more

Bonefish is close to our house and it's our go to place when we don't feel like cooking. We can always count on fresh fish specials of the day. We usually always start off with the calamari and clams in addition to the warm bread. I HEART warm bread, I can't get enough of it. After making our way through them, they bring out our dishes. I ended up getting the artic char with lemon butter sauce. We always come out carrying our bellies and fully satisfied. read more

I was expecting typical chain store restaurant, maybe an enhanced and flavored Red Lobster, but I was wrong, the food, service and atmosphere is good and the prices not bad at all. I had the fish tacos as my main with an order of bang-bang shrimp to start, both were delicious. The beer list is decent and priced right, and the wines, while limited in selection, offer some nice selections and are moderately priced. I'd go back to this restaurant for sure. I don't care much for the other restaurants in this corporate group, including Fleming's or Roy's but Bonefish Grill is a stand out. read more

A Richman's Red Lobster!!!! There is nothing special about this "chain" seafood restaurant!! Just Overpriced small portion seafood!!! Gave this place a few shots and I wasn't blown away at all! I've dined at several different Bonefish Grill's across the country as they typically get it right for a chain restaurant. Certainly a far cry better than The Lob which is mediocre seafood at best. At least Bonefish doesn't try to hide their food in breading & fry everything! In fact, there's a reason why they call it Bonefish GRILL ... As real seafood should be cooked. When visiting family in South Jersey we like to go here to get a good consistent meal in a upscale casual setting. This particular Bonefish is a bit smaller than most I've been in. So if you want a table, I'd suggest either using their online "Catch-a-table" or calling ahead otherwise you'll probably wait at least 30 - 45 mins during peak dinner hours. Their bar area has high-top common tables that comfortably seat 8 -12. These are 1st come 1st serve if you wanna get some bang-bang shrimp or other appetizer & enjoy a beverage while you wait. If you don't want the bang-bang (why?!) then try the ceviché or the Ahi tuna - you'll be glad you did! We waited 25 mins on Thurs evening (8/13/15 @ 6:00 pm). Once seated, our server came over & offered us a preview of the daily specials and immediately took our drink orders - prompt, friendly service w/ a smile thank you. Drinks were on the table in under 5 mins & we placed an app order for bang-bang shrimp & the ceviché. Our server was back in about 5 mins & entree orders were placed. Apps arrived about 7 - 8 mins after ordering & were quickly consumed. Ceviché was fresh & contained bay scallops, small shrimp, a white fish, avocado, cilantro & seasoned chips. Delish but I'm not a big fan of the chips ...these had a smoky, seasoned flavor --- ehhh. Entrees were on the table about 20 mins after ordering. We had 2 Ahi tuna dinners, a lobster roll w/ fries & the Day Boat Scallops special served w/ corn risotto. Let's start w/ the lobster roll - wow! Nailed it & my son loved it. Meat (3-4 oz) overfilled the roll & had celery, mayo & lettuce. My grams had the Day Boat Scallops & they were perfectly prepared! Tender & juicy - most places tend to overcook them. These had a great natural flavor too. The Ahi tuna was decent - well, 1 of them was awesome but my wife's cut was fatty & very chewy - some parts were literally inedible. But don't despair - when our server checked in on us, we explained & showed her the issue. She immediately offered another order or to take it off our bill. We decided for the latter as wifey was feeling full after the apps & just enjoyed her Chardonnay. Overall, this particular restaurant exceeded our expectation of what a chain restaurant can offer for seafood! In general, I continue to dine at Bonefish when I travel as the food & service is very consistent. Try the daily specials as they're constantly adding new items to keep things fresh & seasonal. read more

The food was really good, starting with the bread pesto and oil, house salad had good dressing, bang bang shrimp were great, crab cakes just ok, my wife loved her salmon, and my kids really liked their fish sticks. Granted, it may have been the bottle of Smoking Loon cabernet savignon I split with my date, but I have to say I have loved everything I've ordered from this fine establishment. One complaint however, it is always FREEZING! Foodwise, I would equate ordering the bang-bang shrimp to ordering crabfries at Chickies and Petes. They are an excellent starter and go-to... always appetizing. The calamari appetizer is also great, lightly battered and remarkably crisp when brought to the table. Being a seafood grill, I have of course ordered a few grilled fish dinners here. The two which I am able to comment on, the salmon and Chilean sea bass, were both remarkable. I get the small portions which I find to be just right after the appetizer. As a side, other than the vegetable of the day, I would recommend the steamed brocolli. Also, as a dressing for atop your fish, the mango salsa has always been my favorite. It adds a savory/sweet aspect to the dish, keeping it light in the process. read more

I don't like chains that much. But, when I ask my friend from Philly to pass over restaurant row and drive the extra 45 minutes away from the city to New Jersey to eat at a chain, you know this place is good. Here's why: 1.bang bang shrimp. 2.Nice simple ambiance, not too busy, nothing special or flashy, just simple tea light candles on each table and white table linens. 3.Great pricing. Entrees that would normally cost about $25-$35 elsewhere at privately owned restaurants cost about $15-$20 here. 4.Oh, very good food! Large portions, great sauces. Be bold, try the chimichurri sauce on salmon. The menu offers a diverse variety of flavors with side dishes and sauces without being overwhelming on options. For example they have three simple desserts under $6. The walnut brownie with raspberry sauce is a mouth watering work of art, it also feeds four! 5.The every day, every hour $5 drink menu. The signature sangria is ..oh, just try it, you won't regret it!! They make it fresh there, by the bulk. 6.The staff is down to earth and very friendly. Our waitress drew a picture of a fish bone with the date on my to go box of leftovers. Awesome, who does that? 7. Free parking. Yeah Jersey, what?! Thank you bone fish grill for giving chains a whole new face. read more

1 star is for the tasty drink, a winter white cranberry martini, the other star is for the mahi mahi, which was decent... and the atmosphere wasn't too bad My husbands sea bass was actually good too, but I see $28 as being kind of over-priced for what it was, and I'm taking off a star because, unfortunately he was originally craving fish and chips and it was about 30 minutes in when the waitress forgot that they were out of that and he was forced to order something different, normally I wouldnt care but we werent offered any compensation for the extremely long wait after it was clear my meal was probably coming out any second, while the couple behind us got 4 star treatment, a free appetizer and 2 manager check-ins after they forgot a part of their meal, our waitress hid from us the entire rest of the night. I'm taking off points for the iodine tasting "bang bang shrimp" but I could tell they'd be delicious if they were fresher... I also took off points for the extremely over cooked rock shrimp and rubbery lobster claws on top of my thermador style mahi, ...and minus points for sticky heat-lamp skin mashed potatoes. It was completely dead in there so I'm curious why they wouldn't have taken a minute to check the quality on the food before sending it out. I would have complained but I'm not interested in getting comp'd free food since I have no desire to go back... :( sorry Bonefish I had high hopes! read more

Went this past Saturday for another brunch meal. This time I ordered their French toast , it was really good, coated with some sweetness as its a "creme brûlée " flavored French toast. Menu isn't very big, kind of limited for their brunch but all the same it was another good meal. read more

we got a generous gift card and went here twice. I don't understand the crazy wait for this place on a friday night. the bang bang shrimp was nicely spicy but greasy. the corn and crab chowder was good along with the bread they serve. but the steak was dry (order medium-rare), the egg rolls needed a binder as the ingredients fell out as you ate them and the crab cakes were mushy. Desserts are the standard ones you see anywhere, though the brownie was pretty huge. I'd give it 2.5 if i could, certainly not worth a 45 min wait. read more
