Service was very fast and professional. They train their servers well, we had Paige and she was great. Knows how to pour wine the right way. Food was great, we just got Sir Will's fish & chips. Simple, but delicious flaky white meat fish with homemade tartar sauce. It was almost full but was still quiet enough to talk. Good place for a date...will have to try these fish tacos...Yay! They just got rid of my favorite food here, the 11oz angler steak. We eat here all the time and usually have a great experience but now that they have changed the menu it is not good. The steak that is on the menu is highest priced now. read more

Bonefish Grill is the place to go to for tasty seafood. The sea bass, salmon and the bang bang shrimp are a must to try.

Hard to believe this place is so popular. The only thing it's got going for it is bang bang shrimp. My future son-in-law made reservations two weeks prior for 24 for a surprise engagement party. We were to be seated at 8:00. Instead we stood at the door until 8:45. The manager brought us calamari and bang bang shrimp but no drinks. We had three little ones with us who grew increasingly cranky and some of our party had to leave before we were seated. At last they led us to the patio and back out into the heat where our "party" of 24 sat at individual tables of four. We finally got our food at 10:00! Definitely crossing this one off the list! read more

Mother's Day Disaster! Also had 1:30 reservations today. When we arrived, the place was a mess. People everywhere waiting for tables. The poor hostess was almost in tears. Everyone was mad. Apparently, the reservation system is broken. It means nothing. They had no idea how long for our wait. With 90+ parents, reservations were important. Had to leave and go elsewhere. read more

Great atmosphere, comfortable seating, low noise levels. Not that many people would pay attention to this, but only 3 of the seafood items were wild caught...the rest were farm raised. To a regular seafood connoisseur, the difference between wild caught and farm raised is equal to fresh ground coffee versus instant. The food was prepared well and the sea bass was excellent. Overpriced, but excellent. We ordered the Creme brulee, which was "drizzled" with Grand Marnier. Since I love the taste of Grand Marnier, I couldn't wait. Little did I know, all they did was pour a shot of Grand Marnier on top of the Creme Brulee...lol. It was like eating hairspray with your chocolate pudding. Too overpowering. Went for dinner with my parents and boyfriend June 13/15. Server forgot which wine I ordered, came back and asked. We ordered two appetizers, instead of coconut shrimp we received dumplings. We informed the waitress and she thus far brushed what had happened off. My boyfriend asked for no tomatoes on his salad and when it came there were tomatoes... Again when the waitress came back and saw that there were tomatoes there was no apology, she said something along the lines of "the tomatoes ARE really good, I guess they just wanted you to try them". I worked in the service industry for 10 years in fine dining restaurants, I know what it's like to have a bad night and knowing this, a lot of servers are more lenient on their fellow job holders. I'm not just a picky person being hard on someone. It was some of the most appalling service I have ever had and the food was quite greasy and saturated with dressing and oil. read more

We are on vacation, staying tonight in Lexington. The town is mobbed - it took 4 hotels to find a room. We have never been to the Bonefish Grill - nearest one is Chicago area - what a treat! It's Friday night, everyplace is crowded and yet we walked in and got a booth in the bar area with no wait time. We weren't sure what we wanted - so we ordered the crabcake starters to share - very light, hardly any filler. I'm not sure what held them together. The remoulade sauce was excellent. I ordered the Mussels Josephine - also a starter, but had it as my entree. It could have fed two people easily. I also ordered a half order of the Ahi tuna sashimi. YUM! Sesame seared with wasabi and pickled ginger. It also had a little drizzle of something sweet on the plate. The bread was not and delicious. Our server, James W., was so helpful and pleasant. We would go back here anytime we are in the area. read more

First time at this Bonefish Grille and I was apprehensive because of all the mixed reviews. HOWEVER, the meal and service was fantastic!!! We started with bang bang shrimp (a must) and I ordered the sea bass w/vegetables and whipped potatoes. Wow! Phenomenal! The servings were a little small and prices a little more but I can't complain when I enjoyed every single bite and got some of the best service I've received. I'll definitely be coming back, not as often as I'd like though, because of the cost. read more

This was the second restaurant my mother and I had been too this evening after being unable to find something at Johnny Carinos. In terms of appearance there is nothing to be desired as the place is clean and neat. Unfortunately that is where the good news from this place stops. While the server managed to seat us quickly and went over some options of the menu beyond that we only saw the server when she brought the food and brought the check. I ordered the wagyu beef with ginger pot-sticks for an appetizer and The ahi tuna steak with garlic mashed potato and jasmine rice. My mother opted for shrimp pad thai for her entree. So lets move on to the meal itself, which did come rather quickly however first issue that arose was the wagyu beef appetizer didn't even come till the main course did which invalidated the point of it being an appetizer. This is one dish that doesn't even deserve to have the name wagyu in it and I would be hard pressed to even find any of the meat in the meal. While it says it comes with crispy onions and soy sauce...I found neither of this in them and the wagyu beef tasted as if it had been frozen then thawed before ground up and wrapped in dough. This appetizer was a blatant insult to the wagyu beef name and was perhaps the most bland taste I have ever partaken of. There are yogurts that taste better than this and have more texture to them than this appetizer. As for my ahi tuna? Thankfully it came out well and was enjoyable enough but nothing to really write home about. The garlic mashed potatoes and jasmine rice I ordered for the sides is perhaps the best thing in the entire meal. As for the shrimp pad thai my mother ordered? She managed one bite of it before she sat her fork down and pushed it to the side. It wasn't even fully cooked and that's disgraceful to hear from a chef that has been working at this establishment for the past 20 years that you can't even cook a noodle when I know kids that manage it each and every day. The glass of cabernet wine she ordered was bland and we have cooking wines with more flavor in them and a shorter production year date on them than whatever was served to us. I say whatever because unfortunately neither the chef nor the manager could be bothered to show up and find out why we sent the two orders back. This is both just bad business practice and rude customer service on a night in which we were the only customers in the establishment. When we told the waiter we didn't want the barely touched shrimp pad thai and wagyu beef appetizer; no question was even asked as to why we were sending it back, nor if we would like something different. In the end we paid for our beyond sub-par dinners and left a tip for the server that couldn't be bothered to even refill my glass of tea. The best news to come from the entire night? We managed to go to Tan Door express on euclid avenue for dinner afterwards so my mother could actually have something to eat and it was worlds better AND cheaper than the "dinner" we purchased from Bonefish Grill. Needless to say this was our first time ever eating at bonefish grill and will be the last time we ever harken the doors of any of their establishments. read more

note to corporate: the menu item ahi tuna sashimi isn't sashimi because it is seared. you can call it seared ahi or seared sashimi-grade tuna, but it seems that searing would disqualify it as sashimi. it was delicious seared tuna, just not ahi sashimi as advertised. thought I would pass this on to corporate as the local staff passed the buck upwards. lol read more

Another fantastic meal - house salad, bang-bang shrimp, grilled shrimp and scallops. Scallops were best I've had in years.

I have been to this Bonefish Grill location many times over the past few years and the food has always been excellent. Monday, I went with a group of 5 and our server was extremely kind and continually went out of the way to make sure we had a wonderful meal and experience! When a burger came back cooked a little too rare, she went above and beyond and brought out a whole new meal with a perfectly cooked burger! I would highly recommend this location to anyone and will be returning in the future! read more

We made our first trip to Lexington's Bonefish Grill to celebrate a family birthday. After waiting for a table, we were offered dining in the patio area. Unfortunately after accepting a table there, we found that the wind and cool weather made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. Then we waited and waited for our food to arrive, which only added to an already unpleasant situation. The food was okay but definitely overpriced. With so many fine restaurants in Lexington, I doubt that we'll be returning to The Bonefish Grill. read more

The service was awful. As soon as the waiter found out we weren't interested in any alcoholic beverages he seem uninterested in serving us. I have no idea what that was about. We have dined about twice a year at Bonefish since it opened in Lexington. Tonight we noted it is the one restaurant in Lexington that consistently delivers great service and well crafted meals. Grilled shrimp, scallops, and mahi all perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. Fresh veggies and crisp salads. Service staff was friendly and attentive. The combination of lighting, decor, atmosphere, and staff allow you to relax and enjoy a great meal. We are going here more often this year. read more

They stole from me. BEWARE! They had a server steal the rest of what was left on my giftcard. When I contacted THE LEXINGTON location about it, they denied her stealing and said, they weren't for sure what happened. I had to drive out a few months ago, WAIT on the manager as he "checked on it" and he gave me my cash, exactly. Now, had to drive back out, wait 30 minutes and then leave. All I got was my cash BONEFISH STOLE anyway. Waste of my time and no consideration for that. Emailed corporate and they had the other manager contact me. I called her back, left a message and she NEVER CALLED ME BACK. THEY STEAL there AND have no consideration for their actual customers there. I now GO OUT OF MY WAY to tell everyone this story if it's brought up. I know they don't care, but I do. read more
