This Mexican restaurant is new, it's next to chocolate holler downtown and is pretty good with great lunch specials and happy hour. Definitely a spot to check out. The birria tacos had to be my favorite! Crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection meat on the inside.

Chimichanga with fries? lol

I love Mexican Cuisine and I love this place. Good Margaritas, Classic Mexican Beer and great food. I always get two fried jalapeños to start my evening here. Perfection. Usually get Tacos de Birria as my meal. Can't go wrong. Something different about going to a Mexican restaurant where waiters are dressed in white button ups with ties. Come check it out. Leave happy.

This is one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican food. The food and service are always top-notch, and the restaurant is spotless with a welcoming atmosphere. I had the fajitas, and they were absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back regularly.

Expanding menu to include seafood. Tonight was oysters on the half shell with ceviche .... Everything is so good!!!

Consistently excellent. Unpretentious and full of delight. Nothing flashy, yet still exquisite.

Awesome place; you enter through a greenhouse area and kind of follow the trail, sometimes stopping…read moreand wondering " is this a cafe" "maybe we are in wrong area " Another couple behind us said to keep on moving to the back, keep on going and voila this beautiful forest area opens up with tons of tables all randomly placed for dining. There is the ordering line and just a headed up they don't serve meat products. All dishes are vegetarian. You get to select 2 from the list for a meal ( as they are smaller portions ). They have some great dishes and savory tastes. They have beer and wines available; nice selection but not abundant- but when you have good selection in the first place you only need a smaller list. The hummus appetizer is awesome and great with the focaccia bread but I'd get at least a double portion bread right away. The porter was very good! If you're in Lexington stop here for the experience and some good food and drink!

Atmosphere 10/10. Everything else is MID! The line stays incredibly long and I was surprised to see…read morethat as they ran out of items and wiped them off the board, they didn't replace those items with anything else but still continued to serve a VERY LIMITED menu. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. Especially for the hype and the line you wait in. Service is okay, kind of friendly and was incredibly slow to get food out. After waiting for 20-25 minutes we stood by the kitchen window to wait for our food to come up, we overheard people coming to pick up food and being told they were out of items they ordered and to choose something else... from the already VERY LIMITED menu. I was struck that they were allowing orders to go through for items they didn't have.. Anyways, the couscous salad was great. The lox and kohlrabi salad was mid with soggy bread. The pretzel was decent. Seating in the garden was viby - I'm assuming this is why everyone hypes this place up. Overall very pretentious. Walking around the greenhouse and seeing the plant prices is LAUGHABLE. As a gardener, these prices are insane and you can certainly find great plants at a much better price elsewhere. Again, pretentious. I've experienced their garden seating so I don't think I need to go back when visiting Lexington.

This place is a must for anyone local if you haven't been, and if you're not local, it's seriously worth the trip! There are so many great things I can say about OBC, the service is phenomenal; professional, amazing recommendations, and they go out of their way to give you an unforgettable experience! Their bourbon selection is fantastic; they're guaranteed to have everything you'd want and even some things you haven't tried or been able to find anywhere else. The food is on another level! Starting with with bacon in the glass for the table is a must! This gives you a taste of the quality to come and the peanut butter accompaniment that comes with it works so well! The depth of flavor in the Cola-Braised Short Rib Tacos is unreal & even their rolls are amazing! The Ribeye is cooked to your exact liking; is a very high quality cut, and has a delicious seasoning which is the differentiator for me that makes this one of my favorite steaks I've had in a very long time! I could go on & on, but you need to experience it for yourself!

We went for brunch this weekend. First time here and we both got the specials. I got the omelet…read morewith goat cheese and red onion. Husband had the bread pudding French toast. We also had coffees (regular drip for me and an iced latte for him). And I also tried the key lime gimlet. It's made with Castle & Key gin which is a favorite of mine. Ambience was very nice and the food was delicious. I asked for a side of bacon. I am very particular about my bacon and it came out cooked perfectly, crispy but not burnt. Service was fantastic and pleasant. The only criticism I had is that the red onion in my omelet was bitter. But no one's fault, sometimes onions are very astringent. Everything else was delicious and well made. Oh and we got the house made cinnamon roll for the table. This was delicious. So buttery and gooey with cinnamon. We will be back, maybe for dinner to try their dinner menu!

It's enormous (easily shareable between 6+ people) and absolutely delicious. The Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich was a close second at 9/10, a great classic executed really well. The Banana Bread Latte was an 8/10 -- very good but ask for it less sweet. The Iced Cinnamon Bun Latte and Eggs in Heaven both landed at 6/10. The latte sounds incredible on paper but the cinnamon bun flavor didn't quite come through, and while the Eggs in Heaven dish itself is a good concept, my eggs were unfortunately not cooked to my liking. We really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying our breakfast! Service was good, a little slow but they were very friendly! Overall a great spot with a lot of potential -- the pastry alone is worth the trip. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
