Ordered the wagyu potstickers, sirloin and crab cake meal and lobster bisque. The pot stickers had good flavor however a bit heavy on the ginger. The sirloin and crab cake meal I have to say the portions were quite small and not fully satisfying. The lobster bisque was forgotten and given to me after my meal however they did comp it as compensation. The best thing I would say was the blackberry ice tea and the bread with olive oil and rosemary. The server was very polite and nice though so points for that. Decor i would say is casual classy. read more

I visited a bonefish in Philly and had an amazing time . I expected this same, but this bonefish has a lot of work to do. The bartender was amazing and he made me a great Moscow mule , that's why I gave 2 stars. But everything after that was not a good experience, calamari was over-salted and very small broken pieces , I returned it. The new bonefish pasta is very dry and not enjoyable , I just packed it to go and trashed it once I got home. It could use more sauce and flavor . Also, it is very unprofessional, that was the most surprising. The staff is often yelling to each other, even from the dining area to the kitchen area which has no door. It is not a good place to go with a significant other for a quick nice personal dinner because of the yelling back and forth through the dining area the whole time, that was truly the most surprising. It was no professionalism like there wasn't diners present. I won't come back. read more

Ehhh...it's in the middle. Not great and not horrible either. Food was good but I've had better. I don't know what else i need to say honestly. It's like if you are really hungry then try it but if you are making plans to go out, I'm sure you can pick a better place. read more

After work and some late shopping I went with the misses for something to eat. Great, great choice. Not too busy, clean and attentive staff; Shanice was very nice and helpful. I had the Blackened Salmon Pasta; it was perfectly cooked and the pasta was Al Dente. Madam had the Fish Tacos and enjoyed it immensely. Even the starting bread was fresh and warm. Then the end was a surprise: after ordering a burger to go the entire bill was a shade over $60, wow! It was not my first time here, but I'm elevating this place from super special (and rare) occasions to a more frequent place to unwind! read more

Food was pretty good. Crab cakes decent meat in them. Shrimp skewers were good. While we ate a man passed out in front of us and i told the staff to call 911 and they acted very fast so that was good of them. read more

Just went here for a spur of the moment! And was pleasantly surprised. We were seated immediately and social distance was practiced. Masks were worn as well. We ordered the bang bang shrimp, and the saucy shrimp for our starters and for dinner we ordered the wooded salmon w/ a filet steak with a side of whipped potatoes and sauteed spinach. I ordered the 6 oz steak and lobster tail. Everything was just delicious and fresh and well seasoned. No complaints at all. Ordered the white sangria and that was delicious as well. Our server was great as well! Forgot his name but he was amazing attentive, he knew the menu, knew the hot items on the menu as well. I would definitely recommend trying this place out and coming back in the future. read more

The food was sooo good and the bartender Kathy was absolutely perfect in every way. The crowd was great and so happy and friendly. Things seem back to normal here but with masks. We were here many times before and will return many time again. Wow read more

I had an old gift card and the strip was kind of damaged. The hostess/waitress told me that as long as there were numbers on the back, she can make it work. I got the lobster with mashed potatoes and spinach for the sides. It was good. The lobster tail was a bit smaller than expected but I did enjoy the meal. Some of the entrees are a little on the pricey side. Almost everything is about $20+. One thing I must stress. There was a blonde hostess/waitress named Caitlyn. She was terrific. She was extremely friendly and on top of her game. I cannot stand waiting a long time for the entree or waiting for the check. That did not happen. Caitlyn was efficient and attentive and very friendly. As someone who dines out often, it was refreshing to be waited on by someone like her. I even told her that I was going to mention her in my Yelp review. Bonefish staff.... she deserves a raise. read more

Hosted a book club meet up at this Bonefish Grill location. The staff was very accommodating and added more tables and seats as we had more people come to our table. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and salmon as I am doing a low carb diet. The Brussels sprouts seemed a little over cooked but over all the food was good. The waistress was very patient with our large party and got everyone's order correct. read more

My hubby and I had an impromptu Valentine's Day celebration dinner here after shopping for baseball equipment for our son. (The internet is actually out of what he needed because of a new safety regulation for chest protectors!) So I was delighted to enjoy my favorite Bang Bang shrimp and Caesar salad, my usual order when visiting our daughter at college in Virginia. Looking forward to having a Bonefish Grill closet to our home. read more

Bonefish Grill - Bang Bang Shrimp - Seafood Near Me - Iselin, New Jersey

I felt rushed. The bang bang shrimp was poorly prepared, the batter looked like crumble on the plate. Salads were decent. The lobster roll was awful!! Too salty and made from the scraps of the claw meat. At the end a waiter sneezed into his hand then busted our left overs with the same left hand. Gross. He was kind enough to give a new order and comped us desert. All in all, not a good experience. read more

Love the bang bang shrimp! A must have if you visit. They offer a variety of seafood dishes and drink. Great place for a nice dinner.

First time going to this restaurant chain and this location. My friend chose this place for his bday dinner. The interior of this venue seems pretty spacious and seems pretty 'classy'. Lighting is pretty dim, which is not bad, but I prefer more lighting as I like to photograph the food and that requires ample amounts of lighting. Staff of this restaurant are all very nice and friendly. They all smile, make good recommendations, and joke around a bit, which is a huge plus! For the food, the appetizers came out in decent amount of time but the entrees took a pretty long time to get to us. The Bang Bang Shrimp was simply amazing and delicious! I ordered the Spicy Tuna Bowl as my main entree and it was not too bad. However, the tuna could have been better in my opinion. Everything in the entree seems to mix together really well except for the salsa, it was a bit too too sour in my opinion. As for everyone else in the group, they all seemed to enjoy their entrees and food as well. Overall, a pretty good and different experience! Will def. come back in the future! read more

Love this place even though it's a chain. Consistently good food and service is always top notch. If there is any issue, however small, they take care of it in record time. Went tonight and the winter white martini was excellent. Love the bread and dipping sauce they give you. The bread is always fresh and hot. The sauce is a perfect mixture of many different spices. Of course we had the bang bang shrimp (I received it free because they had emailed me a coupon for my birthday). The portion size of the mussels Josephine appetizer is so large three people can share it. Ordered the Haddock with Feta & Artichokes special and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My Mom didn't feel her steak was rare enough (she is totally picky about that) and the manager brought out a new steak in a matter of minutes and stood there to confirm it was alright (it was). The brownie dessert with raspberry sauce and ice cream was amazing! They used to have a great bananas fosters dessert but it hasn't been on the menu for a long time. read more

Wow never have I ever been to a place where u are policed for drinking. While we were celebrating a special occasion the manager choose to not serve us anymore more drinks. Lauren AKA a Karen made sure to express her discontent with us ordering additional drinks. Please look at other reviews people consistently complain about her. She use her skin tone to try to enforce power.....After sitting in the establishment for over 4 hours. There is a one drink per hour maximum Will never visit this establishment again. There were clearly other people there drinking as well but she choose not to serve us read more

I love their dinner specials. I got an appetizer, 2 entres and dessert for $55. It was very high quality food and I'm so happy I came here. Customer service is so important to me...Erin our waitress was the perfect waitress. She was pleasant and helpful. She should be a manager and train others on proper restaurant personality. Now to the food...The bang bang shrimp were crunchy and not overly spicy. The warm bread with an olive oil/pesto dip was bangin...The house salad with salmon tasted hot off the BBQ grill. Dogfish beer was delicious and refreshing. I will definitely be back. read more

Have to say there is some serious staffing issues. You can read my previous review but it's now 3 stars because of some bad service. Additionally, they are under pouring the wine by a lot. Very sad as we have been here many times and this place went from a 5 to a 2. read more

Not my first time here and I always have a reason to come back. Great service and hospitality. It's the reason why I keep coming back. Samatha, my waitress, was so sweet. Kind voice, very nurturing persona. And Chris, I can only assume he's the restaurant Manager, came to my table to make sure everything was ok. He noticed I was seated for one and made it a point to make sure I did not feel alone. He's a great conversationalist. This place really is great My favorite drink: tropical jalapeño Martini Food is always flavorful. read more

Food was dry, the fish was over cooked, the spinach was bland with no seasoning and the garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic at all. I'm not sure if they switched chefs or if they want to blame it on covid but the food wasn't worthy of a review nor to spend over $70 for it. My cousin had the cod imperial and it was bland as well. Our spinach was and mashed potatoes were cold. Don't waste your money. read more

Ordered some takeout here, as I wanted some seafood tonight. I got the salmon, Kobe burger for wife, and grilled chicken for the youngin--- I can see how one can spend a lot of $$ at this place, some of the dishes seemed too expensive to me. Salmon was cooked perfect, with the asian sauce on the side, and I actually like the chickpeas and asparagus that it came with. The Kobe burger tasted really good, cooked med. well as requested, no complaints there. And I was happy that they had some HEALTHY selections on the kids menu, nice to see a menu that had more than chicken fingers. I recommend this place, just BE STRATEGIC with ordering, the alcohol can drive that bill up!!! read more

We came for Sunday Brunch because we were given coupons by the manager at the Taste of Colonia event. The coupons were for $10 off brunch. When we showed them to our server she told us that they were not available for the Endless Bubble option, but we knew that already so no big deal. However, she clarified the coupon was not applicable for ANY food item in the Endless Bubble area of the menu (which was essentially the ENTIRE menu). That pretty much eliminated all breakfast and brunch options. That meant no breakfast food, or even brunch dishes, so essentially the coupon was useless if you wanted to come for "brunch." We could order a hamburger and receive $ off but not any egg items. Oh well, whatever. We had the Endless Bubble package without the coupon and the food was awesome! We both had omelets and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The waitress kept our bubbles popping and was really great. For $20 each not a bad deal, but we're holding back stars because the coupon given to us was very misleading and provided very limited options (who wants a hamburger for brunch?!) and we felt a little cheated about that. I've also been here for dinner, and the food was good, but not spectacular, but this review is mostly for our more recent brunch experience. read more

Starting with the hostess to the so called owner, Lauren, this place is terrible!!!!! They obviously pick and choose who they want to dine at their outdoor tent area during this incredibly hard time. We attempted to get seated outside when the hostess decided to just get rude, disrespectful, and out right belligerent. You go to a restaurant to enjoy yourself and the face of the business wants to belittle you for waiting. Don't go there if you want to enjoy yourself. Crazy!!! Never saw anything like this. As for the bs owner.... she lacked interpersonal skills compounded by her arrogance.xxxxxxx read more

We usually go for brunch and sometimes for dinner. The food, drinks and the service is pretty good. Their brunch is nothing out of the norm but it's def a must. The only thing I don't like is that their dessert menu sucks, what restuarant does not have a good rich "chocolate cake" of any kind on their menu.lol read more

I've been to this place 2 times. The food is ok. I've decided it's not a place I'd frequent but the food is ok.

Setting - Intimate and neat restaurant with nice bar but lacks waiting area. Food - The Caesar Salad is plain and needs salt and pepper. The lemon cream fish dish is not very lemony but the portion of fish is large and it's cooked well. Service - Our server Darrel was patient and explained menu items well. Definitely not your standard chain restaurant - the food here is top-notch especially compared to the competition in this strip. I have dairy allergies and the restaurant was very informed about everything, so I felt safe eating here. The bread at the start is a perfectly baked ciabatta that was hard to put down. I had mahi-mahi and citrus-herb shrimp - both perfectly grilled and intensely flavorful. The sides of jasmine rice and french fries were simple but tasty. The sparkling white sangria was a nice light drink if a little bitter - I'll probably try the classic blackberry sangria next time instead. Highly recommended! read more

Thank goodness Bonefish Grill is so close to Staten Island! We were looking for a nice dinner, after a day full of shopping, and remembered that someone had recommended the calamari so we knew we had to go there! Y'all I know there is so much to love about Bonefish Grill but let me tell you I'm am just here for the cocktails and the Bang Bang Shrimp! :) They always have the best seasonal drinks. The watermelon margarita was so good but what took me over was the blueberry sangria. I did not know how amazing that would be! Get it! The service is also very good. The are attentive and nice. One day I will get past that and have more of their deliciousness but for now pass the sangria! read more

We were given a gift certificate for Bonefish about 6 months ago, and we finally made it. We ended up ordered the special for two, which was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much food and a great deal. For 49$ you get the bang bang shrimp which is great, two salads, three pieces of fish, two shrimp, two scallops, veggies, rice, side of au gratin potatoes, and lots of sauces. The best part was the shrimp apps and the scallops and shrimp in the main dish with the asian sauce and blackened seasoning. The fish were all decent, but if we came again we would just order the shrimp. The wine was not great (house cab), but service was really quick and friendly. read more

I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants but the Bonefish Grill is an exception. The appetizers are more imaginative than most, the Bang-bang shrimp is delicious and I love the mussels, which I was reluctant to try because they're in a white sauce. They serve bread right out of the oven with a pesto dip. Yum! My favorite entree was the parm crusted trout until they came up with lobster stuffed shrimp! Delicious. I had it with crab fried rice, also delicious. I'm not a big fan of dessert but they make these little donuts that come with chocolate or caramel sauce. They're so good! Our server, Darshel, was terrific. read more
