The food was a bit bland. Portion sizes were good and the staff taking my order my phone was so very polite. I would give another try to see if the food matches the service. read more

Was a bit of a wait when we arrived. I decided to try both a new drink and a new meal. The martini was a great combination of sweet and spicy. I normally don't like drinks with jalapenos but it really tasted delicious and it is now my new favorite drink. I also don't tend to order or eat salmon and I was torn between that and another selection. In the end I was glad I went with the salmon which was a special. It came with cherries that were marinated in a bourbon sauce and glaze. I would definitely order it again on future trips. read more

We had a bonefish grill gift card but we don't have it in Brooklyn. So we went to the mall near the restaurant and saw this restaurant. So we decided to try it. The staff and service is good. The waitress was nice to tell us the special and some wine. We had the special and some other foods. It came pretty fast and very tasty. We will definitely come back here again. read more

This place is always good. But for the Cobb salad, I got and was very disappointed in salad. All it had was lettuce, a few tomatoes. I added the chicken and Shimp for $8 each. So basically, they gave me simply lettuce and tomatoes for $10 and 16 to add shrimp and chicken. No bacon, avocado, egg, red onions, no kinda cheese. So I was not happy with it at all. read more

I've been coming to this bonefish Grill for years and it seems like I always come with family for an occasion. So it wasn't surprising to say that I came for this past Father's Day. We didn't have reservations because our previous plans didn't work out, so we were happy when we were able to walk in at 2 PM and there wasn't much fuss in getting us a table. There were plenty of people to keep the restaurant busy but it wasn't overcrowded and everything seem to be going over well throughout the whole restaurant. We got the bang bang shrimp (as it seems most people do) a fun & chips meal and two grill rainbow trout meals. We loved everything - especially the rainbow trout! Our server was very helpful and attentive and it ended up being a great Father's Day. Again I'll probably come back for another occasion Bonefish is always a good reliable place to go. read more

Catching up with an old friend for drinks turned out interesting. The place we had planned to go had shut down, luckily I had just attended a Yelp Elite event at another Bonefish Grill and could speak to the flavors of the food and excellence of the beverage menu. I kicked it off with a lavender lemonade... Listen, get this cool and refreshing beverage in your life. Of course we ordered the signature bang bang shrimp. I was slightly disappointed in the Ceaser salad. I found that the dressing to leaf ratio was perfect but the house made dressing lacked flavor. Our server, who was funny and attentive took it right off the bill since I didn't put a dent in it. My friend ordered the burger and added bacon and avocado. She had no complaints. I appreciated that we were informed exactly how the burger would be cooked and gave options to change that. That table bread... yas... all warm upon arrival and the mixture burst with flavor. Definitely a spot to come back to and try more menu items. I appreciate the balance between land and sea since I'm more of a veggie forward and occasional seafood consumer. read more

I've dined at this restaurant for years and this is the worst food ever. The salmon was severely overcooked not once but twice! The first dish prepared was returned but the second time was unthinkable. Unfortunately, I cannot support this business until there is a better chef or once the pandemic is over ..the chicken was over cooked as well. read more

Bonefish is my favorite place to eat! The staff is always friendly and food and the drinks are delicious! I love tying a new menu item and cocktail on the special menu. I was so sorry that the restaurant in Greenbrook closed but we now go to the one in Iselin. My husband and I liked going there on Thursday night for the live entertainment and miss it very much! read more

We frequent bonefish Grill but something about tonight was exceptional. I think it had to do with our server Mateo. Every portion of our meal was timed so well. Steak, rare...perfection. And my espresso was perfect... A server can make or break the dining experience. Mateo made it! read more

We were told their brunch was very good! So we have it a try. We ordered the peach Bellini. We asked if we can have a pitcher and they don't offer it. Three of us ordered different types of egg Benedict's and one omelet. Everything was pretty good. It was tasty and the egg was poached perfectly. I just found the waiter wasn't as friendly as we would like. He might have been the only one there. I would give it one more try. read more

I always enjoy Bonefish Grill on my travels. Great seafood menu, loved the cod with the lemon butter caper sauce tonight!

This place is amazing. I love the food. I always get the surf and turf and it is a great price for the amount you get. The environment of the place is nice and clean. Finally the service is always amazing. read more

A group of 9 of us went to the Iselin location on Friday 6/28. Server Robert was very nice and worked hard to get us what we needed. However,, it was absolutely FREEZING in the restaurant. The A/C could not be adjusted according to the manager because the system was being worked on. At the end of the meal, there were 2 extra meals on our bill. Robert got that corrected but it added to the tough experience of dining there. I came down with a cold from that evening out. Nothing against the server but that extreme cold was too much! read more

Bonefish grill was great! I am surprised how much enjoyed it considering its a chain restaurant, but they do an amazing job! We started off with the Bang Bang shrimp which they are known for. It is probably the best bang bang shrimp I've had in the many places ive had this appetizer. Up next were the martinis. and they were delicious. They had a $5 martini special going on until September. You have so many to choose from! I got the Pomegranate Martinin and the Watermelon Martini. They were so good! I am picky with my martinis as most places overkill them, but bonefish had both a variety to choose from and the great taste. My entrée was the shrimp & scallops with herb pesto. I enjoyed this entrée and thought it was great. Very happy with this place. I will be going again! read more

Good food, always packed which tells you something. Much better than Red Lobster as a chain store Seafood place. Seems to be catered to upscale folks. Definitely much more healthier food selection here than Red Lobster's. My bread sticks was served with seasoned olive oil instead of the usual butter spread that other fat places serve. I like the idea that you are given choices on how you want your fish prepared. Definitely not for the uninformed Seafood eaters. If you dislike Red Lobster's fake frozen seafood items, then BoneFish is the place to go. read more

I had a top notch meal here when I was in the city for a few days. The scallops and shrimp were very tasty and, while BG offered very few imported wines, I was able to have a great Malbec. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was still upscale casual and inviting in spite of all the pandemic restrictions. read more

Brunch Review: Their western omelette is amazing (get the au gratin potatoes for a side)! It's a little spicy, but I am down with the spice. More importantly, the drinks. This Bonefish allows you to try any of the drinks on the unlimited bubbles list. I have been to another Bonefish that shall remain nameless ::cough cough Secaucus cough cough:: that if you choose a Bellini you cannot jump to Sangria. Iselin Bonefish was busy, but the drinks came at a decent pace. Do it! read more

Okay, but not great - pretty much what I expected in a restaurant within walking distance of a hotel and other chain restaurants. My caesar salad came out in huge chunks of lettuce so I spent a few minutes cutting them down into reasonable, bite-sized pieces. The worst part was that the salad was drowned in dressing! I couldn't finish it. The crab cakes were recommended as being popular but they were fishy and mushy. Skip these! On the flip side, the bar staff was lovely! They took great of care of me and at least the rosé was tasty. read more

If you want to get away from the Sunday crowd rush at every other restaurant and you come here around lunch time, you're in luck! Me and my boyfriend hate going to loud overly busy restaurants sometimes so the fact that this place wasn't too busy and was quiet enough for us to have a conversation was a plus. The place is super dimly lit. You'll need a second for your eyes to adjust upon entering, hah. Even darker in the bathrooms! But everything was very clean. The waiter started us with water and warm bread in a yummy pesto olive oil. They had interesting specials. But the normal menu was just as good. Food was good and although waitress was a little flustered since she just walked in she took care of us well. read more

Happy Thursday my fellow Adventurers! This place is such a great spot for a small intimate birthday dinner. Came here with my mom for my birthday and loved it! Our waiter was awesome, found out he sang professionally. We had the Bang Bang shrimp as the appetizer----which is a must. I had a few glasses of white wine and the wine glasses are so cute! You can purchase one for $10. The bartender was really cool since we had to wait to be seated, she was attentive and really awesome to chat with. I believe I ordered the tuna salad and my mom ordered a burger. I really enjoyed the salad though I wish they had cut the tuna a little thinner. I might have enjoyed it a lot more. Again I'm a huge fan of how waiters act and ours was amazing. My mom hadn't been feeling well so he offered a few options to make sure she was alright. I'm not sure why someone reviewed is as an amateur place, maybe they have too high of expectations? It's a chain restaurant brand, but they do offer high quality foods and really delicious. this is a great place to enjoy a first date, or a low key girls night. Grab a few drinks and enjoy some tasty food. Definitely going back here since I've been here for a Yelp Event as well as the East Brunswick location. read more

Pretty decent for a franchised restaurant. Came here twice with co-workers and we all agreed that their food is good. Their entrees are expensive but they offer lunch menu which are cheaper. Pros: Nice and cozy interior, Warm bread with pesto olive oil dipping, attentive service, peach iced tea with 1 refill (real peaches inside), seared Ahi tuna steak with mango salsa (you choose your sauce) that comes with 2 sides, and bang bang shrimp. Cons: Did not like the side of asparagus since it was overcooked and soggy. Will definitely come back since our Ahi tuna steak tasted fresh, clean, properly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Great for healthy eating/ calorie control. read more

Hit or miss. You're paying for fish that honestly taste like you're eating chewy rubber. You know, dried out fish. Tuna steak even medium or under is still overcooked. When we first arrived and were sat down for dinner, we waited 15 minutes before finally flagging down a waiter to get us water and bread. It was surprising that we had to flag down a waiter just to get started, and it's possible that we would not have had a waiter come to us otherwise. While this was certainly frustrating, this was the only negative part of my experience. The waiter we flagged over, who was probably not even assigned to our table, was very attentive and friendly. He ended up taking our orders for the rest of the night. The food seemed fresh and was very delicious, especially the Chilean Sea Bass. The lobster tail is also worth mentioning here. In the end, it seemed the manager had found out about our early frustrations and gave us our appetizers for free, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, other than the problem in the beginning, the food and service was great and we will definitely come back. read more

I absolutely love this place! On Wednesday's they have half off appetizers during happy hour. Today was my first time during brunch hours and it was still pretty good! The service here is also pretty good. The servers and nice and the vibe is also pretty dope. Today they actually had a slight mix-up with my order and they were really nice about it. The manager came over and offered to get me a soup or salad while I waited so that I could eat with my mother. These are the slight touches that give an establishment 5 stars in my eyes. Glows: -Food is yummy -Drinks are yummy -Bang Bang Shrimp are bomb -Prices are okay Suggestions: -Come here on the weekend or a day when it's not too busy. I've never waited, but you wouldn't want to spend a ton of time waiting that gets annoying lol read more

Food was very tasty and satisfying I recommend BFG to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

I had a nice dinner tonight at Bonefish Grill in Iselin. Filet and lobster stuffed shrimp with potatoes au gratin and string beans. I realize now that the steak part was supposed to be the main feature, but I just saw lobster stuffed shrimp and wanted that. Unfortunately, I ordered the filet well done. So I had beef like my momma used to make it :p That was my mistake though. The meal was made exactly as I ordered it. I actually asked them NOT to do many me any favors with the alcohol in my drink, and I got a perfect watermelon martini. This restaurant is relatively close to me, so it is at the top of the list for places I want to go. I had put it off because I couldn't find anyone to come with me, but there were actually several single diners there (good for singles should be a category on yelp). Anyway maybe I'll come again all by my lonesome. My only quibble is that service was a bit slow -- both for the waitress to come to my table at the beginning and for my check at the end. I had to keep looking around, but never saw her. Finally after 15 minutes I spotted her at the front and got her attention. It's not really a big deal, as I wasn't in any rush. But I was bored. Maybe next time I'll bring a book, or have the fortune to sit next to someone I can chat with. read more

Been to bonefish grill a ton of times, food is good, but nothing to go crazy over. On Tuesdays they have a dinner special which includes a salad, an entree with a side, and a dessert. I got a caesar salad with sajion noodles. Both were pretty good. The best thing there though is the bang bang shrimp appetizer. The spicy sauce on top of the shrimp is soo good. Definitely recommend. My sister got the filet mignon meal with mashed potatoes and rice and loved it! Good place to go to for a good, cheap meal. (On Tuesdays) read more

3.5 stars. Wasn't too impressed with this dinner. We called prior and they put our name on a "call ahead list" which is nice because it was a Saturday night and it was a bit busy. We were seated right away. When you walk in to the right is the bar area and to the left is the dining area. The staff was super nice and our waitress was really helpful in breaking down the menu her name was Catherine. We were off to a good start with the appetizers they came out fast. We got the caesar salad, Maryland crab cakes and the Thai coconut shrimp. The Maryland crab cakes were my favorite. They are filled with real lump Maryland crab and it is paired with a spicy mayo sauce which was delicious. The Thai coconut shrimp was also really good. There were 6 jumbo shrimp covered in coconut flakes paired with and Asian sauce which was a nice balance of sweet and savory. We were then waiting a while for our dinner which was a bummer. I got the salmon with jasmine rice and asparagus. The asparagus is considered a "deluxe side" with an up-charge and I didn't think it was worth it. The rice was also very sticky. My brother got the special of the night which was a 8 oz steak paired with three lobster stuffed shrimp, he also got two deluxe sides which were truffle Mac and cheese and crab fried rice. The crab fried rice only had a few pieces of crab and didn't have much flavor. My father got the lobster stuffed shrimp which is six jumbo shrimp with lobster, red peppers and lemon butter sauce. He also added a lobster tail. However it was lacking in quantity. The proportions were small for the price we paid at the end. For dessert we got the Crème Brûlée which was actually the best thing I ate the whole night. It had berries and fresh whipped cream. We also ordered the special dessert of the night which was the summer berry bread pudding. It was a brioche bread pudding, infused with Grand Marnier and ice cream and salted caramel sauce. It was just decent and tasted like soggy bread. In conclusion the food is decent and definitely overpriced. read more
