Haven't been year for few years! On a Tuesday night, we were here finally! Arrived at 5:30pm, not many customers inside, bar area is busy, inside is only few table of customers. To my surprise, they no longer have the white table cloth! But anyway, the staff are friendly, food is great! The fried calamari is so so, but my main course of shrimp and fish are great! It has been a long time since we have eaten at Bonefish. Not because we had ever had a bad experience there but I think we usually chose an eatery that is easier on the wallet. OK, Saturday night, Valentine's Day 2026, the place was packed, as you would expect. Thankfully we had a reservation for our four-top, my wife and me and my brother-in-law and his wife. We were seated quickly and soon our server was at our table attending to us as though we were his main reason for being there. How refreshing to be treated in such a way. We had our drink order ready and he put those in for us. My wife would enjoy a nice "Rosé" and I ordered a Smoked Old Fashion. Our server's name is Reid G. In the midst of his rush he was polite and friendly and I loved it. We were soon ready to order, too, so after drinks arrived and Reid came back to our table he took our orders. The presentation of our drinks was very nice, so I have to be specific about it. My wife's bottle of wine was presented to the ladies, and though they declined a taste the young lady wiped the neck of the bottle preventing any drips in between each pour, then returned the bottle to the wine chiller. My drink was presented in a rocks glass, of course, but was capped with a small brandy snifter to keep smoke trapped inside. I could smell the smoke immediately when the drink was served. It was rich and sweet, a smell sensation to complement the look of the drink itself. My wife ordered the Pan Asian Butterfish with side salad, Reid assured her that this is a dish that she would certainly enjoy, often his go-to. I opted for the Imperial Cod with side salad as well. I always like to complement the establishments who serve their salads on cold plates as was the case here at Bonefish. A pet peeve of mine being a salad on a warm plate, ya know. All four of us enjoyed our dinners and each others' company. During another round of drinks we ordered the Chocolate Cream Brûlée. We were not overwhelmed with the dessert and perhaps I should some take responsibility for that, not noticing that it was chocolate on the menu, but also that it failed to have the custard consistency but rather like a pudding. The size of the dessert was sufficient for two people to share, as we did, and we did finish it, of course, but would not order it again. We spent about 2 and 1/2 hours there and Reid took good care of us. We had a very good evening and we tipped Reid appropriately. Bonefish is a very nice establishment for special occasions. Waitress seemed very new, did not check on us much. I had the ahi tuna which was overcooked. But the thing that got me was there were six of us sitting the with dishes in front of us for 30 minutes after we were done eating. They were not busy. read more

First off, the ambiance is amazing for friends, family, and dates. The service is always top notch. Their menu includes chicken and beef options in addition to seafood, so don't pass on this place simply because you aren't a seafood lover!!! --I highly recommend the Lilys Chicken, which has artichoke hearts, goat cheeses and a yummy sauce (I prefer mine without spinach). ;) The appetizers are mainly seafood based, but you can keep your hunger at bay with their yummy warm and crusty bread that they serve prior to the meal. The oil and herb dip is a perfect complement to the bread. They also have a sweet cocktail and wine menu, if you so desire. Finally, the desserts are sooo good. Wonderful food service and atmosphere. Loud, noisy rude continuous chatter by 2 employees to the table to our right!!! No one stopped them, they gave out free desserts and did not care that they were being rude to us and all the tables around them! No one stopped it! It ruined our evening! So, I went with half pound bfg burger. I got it well done and it did not disappoint. It was still very moist, with not one bit of pink in it. The sharp cheddar cheese was a nice twist. I got mine plain, except the cheese. An amazing burger doesn't need a lot of toppings in my opinion. This burger is in my top 3 list of favorites. The service was amazing. There was like 20 of us. They were very accommodating to the table. We never once had to ask for a refill, the waitress was on top of her game. The restaurant itself was very nice and comfortable. read more

Like that Bonefish Grill is a short drive to the CVG Marriott Tis a grand evening to dine at the "CVG" Bonefish. We seemed to have developed a habit of dining at this Bonefish Grill when staying at the Cincinnati Marriott (CVG.) This Bonefish is especially appealing on a warm July evening. We like the ambience of the dining room, and the welcome greeting from the hostess. We tend make reservations at this Bonefish, and that never have experienced a wait. Somehow, Bonefish and Buttermilk Pike go together; like, B & B. We know the very short season for soft shell crabs is past, and we know that Bonefish will offer several seasonal choices of seafood. The Ahi Tuna is a great appetizer. Bonefish is a perennial favorite; and we like this small chain of fish houses. We recommend Bonefish for take away and for restaurant dining. Fresh fish Years ago we learned the delights of Bonefish, and Bonefish chain does a great business. We nearly always order the menu's fresh fish. Dining Five Star Service Four Star Ambience Four Star Tonight, we settle on the Sea Bass with au gratin potatoes and asparagus. We find Chardonnay to be priced right, and we like the house Chardonnay. Bonefish, unlike many competitors offers the "early bird" wine discounts in both the bar and the dining room. This was our first visit. We came in around 4:30 pm so it was not busy. Service was excellent. First we got the included bread with a tasty pesto type dipping sauce. We are small eaters so we all just ordered apps for dinner. I had the lump crab cakes with a nice sauce both of which I enjoyed. My daughter got the calamari without the peppers with dipping sauces which she liked. The other diner had a chicken egg roll type wrap with Mexican seasoning. She was happy as she does not eat seafood. I had a great chocolate martini. We also got cheesecake to go for my son at home but he did not think much of it. Except for the cheesecake which the rest of us did not try, we loved everything and will return. read more

On the way back from Tennessee we stopped in Florence Kentucky to eat. Saw Bonefish which I've heard about so let's try it. The restaurant was packed but the hostess got us a table in the bar area. Our waiter came over immediately and took our drink orders and left bread and olive oil. Drinks came, entrees given. We received three different entrees and all where serve properly and hot. From shrimp. blacken fish tacos to a Salmon pasta dish that was not only beautiful to see but tasted wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive although extremely busy but all of the staff was attentive. Bonefish is an little higher seafood restaurant than others but prices are more than fair. This is the second time I've been invited to a complimentary event at the Crescent Springs Bonefish Grill and each time, it's been a great experience. Last week, I had an email from Bonefish Grill inviting me to the launch of the new Social Hour where they'd be introducing some new menu items. We were greeted with a delicious and refreshing Bourbon mango sour and a serving of bread with seasoned olive oil dipping sauce. A plate of the new chicken chimichurri nachos followed. Super tasty with the chimichurri standing out as very flavorful. Our second round included a blueberry lemon drop martini served with a sugared rim and plate of bang bang shrimp and sashimi. Bang bang shrimp is an old favorite and just as I remembered. The sashimi was light and melt in your mouth tender. It came with soy sauce and wasabi. Social hour runs every day starting at 3 p.m. and includes four $7 cocktails, reasonably priced wines and beers and a selection of snacky treats in large and small plate sizes. We haven't been there in a year or so, but they did away with bang bang shrimp night, and the food happy hour menu. But they now have a menu special from 4 until 6:30. My husband ordered off of that menu and got the Shrimp Picatta tonight. It was so disappointing. He had 5 small shrimp on his plate in minimal sauce along with his spinach. If that's what they serve for $16.99 for the early bird dinner, then I'll take a strong pass. The portion size was pitiful. My shrimp skewers were ok, but it looked like my mashed potatoes were put on the plate with an ice cream scoop. Our bill was $96.78 for two people. You need to step up your game, or you'll be losing a life long customer. read more

Still one of my favorite seafood eats! I typically don't enjoy seafood but had to go again with my wife to see if it was as good as the first time. The staff and food was just as consistent as my first 5* review! This time they didn't know I was with yelp though :) We started with the bang bang shrimp. Shrimp was slightly crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, and covered in a delicious sauce that had a slight spice but could be tamed down by eating it with the lettuce it was served on. We had a fresh roll with oil and pesto; delicious. I ordered the fish tacos and my wife had wood grilled chicken Cesar salad; both were good and worth having again. We ordered the seafood grill for two. The bread cane straight from the over. The oil and spice blend is perfect dipping. We started with BangBang shrimp... my favorite.... perfectly I ordered the Caesar salad and my friend ordered the house salad. Both were huge salads, and perfectly delicious. Our three sides included garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach and sautéed broccoli.... all perfectly prepared and presented. The huge Argentinian shrimp were so well spiced and tender. The beef fillets were as tender as can be... melt in your mouth. The salmon was also perfectly prepared, and was very moist. What a wonderful and delicious meal, with great service! We stopped by for dinner without reservations. We were early in the afternoon and we were seated right away. Very nice staff! Curtis's was our server and was informative and was knowledgeable in a gluten free meal. He gave me a separate menu which was perfect. Our meals were great and Curtiss and staff provided the best service. We are very pleased and we will definitely be back. I'm not celiac but sensitive to gluten. I had no problems! We've enjoyed Bonefish Grill for years but this last visit was quite disappointing. A couple of us got the Angler's Catch last Friday which turned out to be a few mini-shrimp,a couple mini-fillets, limp fries, and a teaspoon of slaw... Long John Silver's would've been just as good for half the price with quicker service. When we pointed out the ridiculous portion of slaw we were simply told that's what's included. Some restaurants like this one are beginning to flop -- don't waste your money. read more

Yes it's a chain restaurant, but I still love Bonefish and they deserve a decent rating. Many great menu items, drink choices, and daily specials. Decent happy hour prices on drinks and appetizers. I really had high expectations for Bonefish going in. Considering the wonderful trip my yelp troupe experienced there recently. I got this email got a "secret" one day deal. A 3course meal got a mere $20. How great? I made reservations online. We arrived and the dining area was basically empty. Going in from what I viewed online they do have happy hour. Only alcohol drinks are on the happy hour menu. According to the server apps are only discounted one day a week. There are different deals for different days. I was really looking forward to my meal which was a salad, a 6oz. Sirloin and 5 shrimp with two sides and one of two desserts, cheesecake or coconut pie. The ceaser salad was the standard. There's about five side choices and four premium sides which cost $4-$7 to add to your meal. Two of the premium sides were the asparagus and the mac and cheese with bacon. I had the augratin potatoes and the "seasonal vegtable" which was broccoli which were included, as was mashed potatoes and rice. They tasted great. The broccoli had a little crispness to it. I believe it was steamed. The potatoes were served like a lil ice cream scoop. The shrimp were big and probably grilled. I think they were sauce less. My sirloin steak was ordered medium which is usually a little more than pink, was bleeding. This steak was squirting blood. So, they took it back to re-cook it. Anyone knows that just makes it bad. She brought it back and asked me to cut into it. Deep red blood came squirting out. She said she'd make it better. A whole new one. This thing was cooked do hard it was le cardboard. Not a drop of pink. I sat it in the middle of the table. I told the server I was unable to eat that. He agreed and said if you've got a dog I can box it so that you can take that. Really?! So why is that ok to be served at ALL?! If is barely good enough good a dog? Why is it good enough for me. They stressed that it was being removed from my bill. I don't understand why they were unable to give me an edible steak that didn't ooze blood. My husband's was pretty perfect. Maybe I should've upgraded to the filet for sn extra $5. Dessert was pretty good. Cheesecake is usually good across the board which it was. The coconut pie was served warm with lots of coconut. It resembled flan to me with whip on top. I hate that I missed out on that steak though. read more

Visited on Friday 3/10/23 and was surprised to see that many more tables had been added, more like "cafeteria-style" now and very crammed in feeling (may be temporary due to Lent?). Odd looking and cramped but no big deal although with a full room, more tables made it much louder. The food quality was an issue, though......Bang Bang shrimp appetizer arrived and was barely warm plus fewer shrimp than last visit. Per my wife, Blackened fish tacos were "bland with more cabbage than anything else." My mahi-mahi was dried out, the ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes were lukewarm......but the shrimp were good. It's pretty bad when the bread was the highlight of the meal! All in all, a very disappointing meal. I suppose Bonefish Grill is getting by on only their past reputation now? I normally like to avoid chain restaurants but I do enjoy Bonefish especially when they have their winter cosmos. Not sure everything in it but the cranberries on top put you in the Holiday mood. I've given these guys multiple chances over multiple years figuring that the management is a revolving door because of it being a chain but this restaurant literally sucks. This location is always on point! We have a few servers we love and they make the experience laid back and relaxing each time. Bonefish is expensive for a chain, and it is nice to see they understand we could be spending our money in any restaurant. Best martinis in the city. I called for carry out. When I arrived I asked if they included the extra dressing on side and they reassured me it was in there. I ordered the soup corn chowder which I was very happy about because they taken it off the menu to improve. It was great before? Got home, no extra dressing and the soup was the worst. Had to throw out. The bread looked like someone either took a bite of or ripped a piece out. Called bone fish and spoke to the manager and she did nothing. Really could care less. read more

Wow what an experience I had here! I came for a Yelp elite event but I will 100% be back here! Everything I ate and drank was delicious. We started with their Main Squeeze gin and lemonade mixed drink, and their Bang Bang Shrimp, Wagyu beef slider, and fried calamari. Then we moved onto a delicious cut of sockeye salmon with artichokes and asparagus, paired with a light Chardonnay! It was so fresh - didn't have a weird fishy taste (like I've had at other restaurants). We ended with their espresso & vanilla vodka martini and their macadamia nut brownie, that is deliciously gluten free! Also, for my people with celiacs, they have a menu that they've worked with the celiacs association to create to make sure that they have many options that are safe and good to eat! We were fortunate enough to attend Bonefish Grill in Crescent Springs on Monday evening for a divine Yelp event. The restaurant is clean, the staff are throughly professional, and bursting with knowledge, and pride in their incredible work. We learned all about Bonefish, and their great work with responsible fishing, to ensure the future of our oceans are safe. The food is from their usual menu, and we sampled their famous Bang Bang Shrimp, a fan favorite...we also enjoyed some stunning Alaskan Salmon on a bed of asparagus, and some other beauties in between and around all of this. We finished off our meal in serious style with their quality, gluten-free, Chocolate Brownie, accompanied by an ambitious & expertly crafted Espresso Martini. I couldn't recommend this Bonefish Grill highly enough. Whenever my parents visit from England, they make this one of their priorities to visit, as they adore the restaurant, and the chain very much. read more
