We had the absolute worst experience with this company. We chose them because of all the good reviews but were extremely disappointed in the level of professionalism, lack of care taken with our property, and the poor workmanship. When we had a couple guys come out to do a water test to see where the leak was, the one was extremely unprofessional, made comments about how he thought my husband was the son of the homeowner. Apparently he thought we were too young to own a home(we are in our mid 30's). He got hot in our attic after about 15 mins and decided we must not have a leak. The water stain above our bed in our bedroom was not enough to convince him of a leak. He ended up getting into a heated argument with my husband and left the job site with his other worker still on the roof spraying water for the test. The other worker apologized and said he would not be having the angry worker come back on the job. When they came back to do a whole new roof on our back deck and repair the main roof, they laid out a 4ft by 4ft tarp to take care of our property. We were told in the beginning our yard and home would be completed tarped off and they would clean up all debris and take pictures of their progress as it was happening so we could be involved as homeowners. Obviously the tarp was way too small to handle this kind of job and debris was left scattered all over our yard. We have 3 dogs, 2 of which were puppies at the time, so we were mainly concerned with them stepping on or eating 1 of the hundreds of nails and staples they left in our yard. When we brought up our concern, the worker left us his magnet he was supposed to use on the yard for us to use because it was getting late and he needed to leave. There was no supervisor or manager on the job site at all, and none of the workers could speak English to bring up our concerns too. They were supposed to take the dumpster with them when they were done and they didn't. Someone came back at 9:30pm at night to take the dumpster so we could park in our driveway, that we also found lots of nails and staples in. We never received any picture updates throughout the day as promised. My husband ended up getting on the roof himself to see their work. He discovered they damaged our siding and found many more nails/staples in our gutters. My husband called the supervisor the next day to express all of our concerns. He ended up telling my husband that they would not replace our damaged siding and the best they would do was caulk the holes and seams they left. This was not an acceptable answer to us as we were not planning on replacing our siding anytime soon and they had even joked with us when they gave us a quote about you know you're getting a bad roofing job when the roofer thinks caulking things is the answer. The supervisor ended up yelling at my husband and hung up on him when he pressed the issue about our siding. They eventually sent us the pictures of the work they did where they purposely angled the photos to not show the damage to our siding. After all this we were still waiting for them to install a new gutter on the back deck. The manager came back out to caulk our siding since that was the only option they would do for us. To his surprise, we still didn't have a gutter so he called the workers to see when they could come back out to install it. The guy that came knocked on the door and just said gutter and pointed up to our front porch gutter. My husband took him to the back yard to install the new gutter. When he finished my husband noticed that it did not have a leaf guard like we were supposed to have. He also could not speak English, so my husband had to get Google translate out to express his concern. He called someone and gave the phone to my husband. They were a contracted company through Bone Dry and Bone Dry had ordered the wrong gutter, so we had to wait again. After 3 weeks of dealing with this company we finally had our gutter up. I hope this honest review will save someone else the headache of dealing with this highly unprofessional company. Updating to include our quote, since they want to pretend like we were not a customer of theirs. Beware of this company unless you like be yelled at, hung up on, your property damaged, and then called a liar for leaving an honest review. read more

I called in order to get a quote, there was no response the first day I called. I tried again a few days later, and the lady who picked up the phone hung up on me before I could get a hello out. I called back thinking it was an accident, and when I mentioned that I was hung up on that same lady hung up again. Extremely unprofessional. read more

This is a poorly managed company in the Columbus, Ohio area. I was given a quote and agreed that we would go ahead with my roof, which they said would start on November 19th, and was told the dumpster would be parked outside my house on the 18th. No dumpster was the first clue, but I was informed the guy would bring it on the start day. Its a very large roof and they sent over a very small crew that arrived at 7 am, but did not speak English and the coordinator did not arrive. I finally called him at 8 am, and was told he was on the way, just buying some items for the job. A few hours later I called again and was informed that the job was postponed. They finally came on December 8th, almost on month later. No compensation for the lateness, just a lot of internal finger pointing between the team members. Then I get a text saying to pay the final bill before the job was complete. There was much more, but the point is "This is a very poorly run business with no regard for the customer." I strongly recommend using another company. If you do use them, insist they sign the contract too, and put the date in the contract. read more

I had a repair for a leak in my roof. Gordan and Kwame were as nice and as professional as possible. The repairman was there in a timely manner and did an excellent job . Gordon was more concerned about color matching my shingles than I was. Kwame followed up and communicated with me every step of the process. I can't recommend them enough. read more

They did a very thorough inspection of my roof before giving me an estimate. The price was midrange (I got two other quotes) and they do not require a down payment. The new roof was installed in one day the following week. I appreciate that they were careful not to damage my landscaping and did a thorough clean up when they were done. I did not have to pay anything until the work was completed. read more

I was looking for a roofer and started with going on the internet and reading reviews then I visited each website. I was impressed with how Bone Dry presented themselves and just had a good feeling about calling them. They setup an appointment with a salesman Gordon Rodgers and he was very nice and helpful with determining what the house needed and what we wanted to be done. Price was reasonable and we received discounts depending on certain things which helped. Scheduling was easy. The day before the roofing crew came out I was given a courtesy call who to expect and supervisors name . The next day the crew came out and began working at once to make sure things would be covered for safety to the landscape and windows. Program director appeared to make sure the crew was on schedule and helped out with getting things hauled away from clearing the roof. Supervisor came to help with directing the actual install of the roof and later the chimney flashing. When all was finished , the crew did an exceptional cleanup up of the surroundings . Appreciated their bosses came out to check on how things were coming along and if I had any questions. Liked the fact that pictures of each step of the process were forwarded to me until they were done. Work was done nicely and very satisfied. .
