Dr. Yannelli is extremely professional, smart and friendly. Her staff are also very pleasant and the office itself is cute with a good selection of eyeglass frames. They are very honest. No one tried to pressure me into pricey frames and they gladly offered to give me my written prescription in case I wanted to shop elsewhere for frames or contact lenses (I bought both through them but just the fact they willingly offered the prescription showed their honesty). My two kids and I had routine eye exams and we ordered new frames and lenses and two of us ordered contact lenses. Everything went great and we got exactly what we wanted. During another visit, Dr. Yannelli took care of my eye infection and everything turned out great. We are getting ready to return since my youngest wants contacts and I have no doubt they'll get him the right lenses for a fair price. I can't say enough good things about this practice!

She has fitted me with gas-perm contact lenses better than anyone In the 35 years I've worn them. My experience with The Eyeglass Works was strictly business…read more I walked in there one sunny afternoon a week and a half ago, prescription in hand, intent on buying the Larrabee by Oliver Peoples (in Horn, for those who are wondering). I had tried them on beforehand, and my mind was made up. I asked for them, I tried them on, I tried on a few other pairs just to be sure, I made up my mind once and for all, I turned over my prescription, I opted for anti-reflective lenses, I paid. The entire process took less than 20 minutes. Only 5 days later, I got the call that they were ready for pickup. As much as I wanted to bolt to Manayunk that very evening, I had to wait until the following day... Which turned out to be the eve of Snowpocalypse, Part III*. I called ahead to make sure they were going to be open by the time I arrived from Center City... They couldn't be sure, but they offered to give me a call if they decided to head out early. Turns out I made it just in the nick of time. I like to think they stayed open just for me; then again, I'm a narcissist. BOTTOM LINE: The Eyeglass Works has hundreds of frames, friendly and helpful salespeople, and is an overall excellent eyeglass shop. PROTIP: There is a "10% Off" coupon on their website. Print it and use it! *We all know this petered out, but people were freaking out at the time.

I drove from Maryland for my appointment that was scheduled for December 5, 2025 Jennifer at the Lantana Square could not find my appointment although she was very helpful. I did purchase new frames for the glasses that I have broken. I drove to the Concord Pike site to discuss the issue with the gentleman. He stood there near the back never check to see if I made the appointment as only comment to me was and., when I stated to him again that he made an appointment and no one can find it again and he stated and. And then seen it. What do you want me to do? I don't remember it. He never attempted to check the appointment scheduled to see what was going on. He stood there like I was a criminal and I did something wrong. I returned home to Maryland the next day and locate my card that he wrote the schedule on the appointment was scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025 at 10 am with Dr Ammon. It was for my yearly eye exam. I would hate to assume the reason he did not help me, but his message was very clear to me. I think his actions were very unprofessional and certainly disrespectful to me. Needless to say I've been coming to. I works for some time, but I was able to get an appointment the same day at SIMON EYE up the street. I've called the Lantana Drive location to have someone call me to discuss. I've yet to hear from anyone. I know this is not the way they treat their customer because Jennifer at the Lantana Drive was more than helpful. The gentleman at the concord Pike. Needs to understand he can't judge people by their appearance I made this appointment weeks ahead of time, and I certainly don't understand why no one could locate it, and that gentleman just refuse to do anything I have the appointment card that he provided to me with the date on the card if anyone cares to discuss please reach out to Jennifer at the Lantana Drive location. She has my name and number. Lost customer!

I had gone through a 2 year ordeal with another vision center where they could not get the lens's correct. I paid for them but finally gave up trying to get it right (could not wear them). My prescription is not easy but doable. Back in December I walked into Eyeworks and showed Kristen my glasses and what I had gone through. Within 10 Minutes she pointed out the problem, size of the lens and the position of the prescription alignment the other shop had used. I picked out another set of glasses with her recommendation on size of lens and alignment. I have been wearing these since December. She really is an outstanding technician and has wonderful customer facing skills. Many thanks William
