If I were only evaluating Dr Nadler this would be a 5 star review. Dr Nadler provided very thorough…read moreexams, answered all of our questions and has a great bedside manner. I have been a patient with this office for over 35 years, I had previously recommended them many times. I am extremely saddened by our April 2022 visit. Our visit included interacting with the office manager Jeff. We were quickly taken aback by how he interacted with the staff at the front desk. Then when it came to selecting glasses we felt like he was pushy, rushing and dismissive. While we were at the office the pricing didn't seem right, but we were being rushed so we paid and left. I called my insurance company to clarify the charges. To start with my husband and I were both charged copays, my plan doesn't have a copay. Then upgraded services that I specifically advised I did not want were added to my order. I contacted Jeff after speaking to the insurance company, told him I was not happy, he tried to add on more charges! I cancelled our order and went back to the office to get a refund.

This office missed a significant vision diagnosis (that could lead to blindness if not corrected)…read morein my 6 year old after giving her an exam TWICE in 6months. We went to a completely different practice and she was diagnosed and treatment starterd after ONE visit. When I questioned Colonial Eyecare about it the office manager tried to gaslight me by saying "children's eyes/vision change over time". Implying this diagnosis developed in the 3 months between the last exam at Colonial and the new exam at a different practice. All while knowing full well this diagnosis IS NOT something that develops quickly. STAY AWAY from this practice!!

I couldn't believe the next day while going home that I could clearly read the street signs without my glasses. Prior to my cataract surgery I couldn't read the street signs with my glasses. My second cataract surgery truly went so well, I didn't feel like I had anything done. I am so thankful to Dr. Walker for her skill and expertise. I must also add what an awesome staff they have in the office. Very efficient and helpful.

I had no other problems from my cataracts; no nighttime halos and rays when driving. Dr. Walker removed my cataracts, and my vision is now 20-20 and 20-25. HOWEVER, I now have significant problems driving at night. I have light rays coming down from traffic lights that extend into my car. I have light rays in my rear view mirror. There are starbursts from oncoming headlights. I see rays coming from my neighbors' porch lights, so I don't take evening walks. I can't drive at night without significant problems, and will not venture more than a mile from home. I'm completely disabled when it comes to nighttime driving. During the day, I sometimes have "fluttering." It's been 7 months since my surgery, and Dr. Walker has no idea why I'm having issues. She says I'm "seeing better than I ever have," referring to my prescription change, but completely disregarding the major problems I'm having. I would gladly wear contacts again if it meant I wouldn't be going through this ordeal.
