I spent over an hour on their pre-appointment paperwork and drove 30 minutes to the office, only to…read morebe denied care because I wouldn't put a credit card on file. This policy was never disclosed--not during scheduling, not in reminders, and not in the patient registration or financial agreement. They had already verified my insurance, knew my exact co-pay, and I even offered to pay it upfront. Still, they refused to let me see the doctor. I've never experienced this with any provider before. This made me lose all trust in their billing practices. If they mishandle a claim or insurance rejects something, I have no doubt they'd just charge the card without doing the proper follow-up. In today's environment of healthcare data breaches, requiring a card on file with no limits or opt-out is not just unsafe--it's unethical. If they treat new patients like this before the first exam, imagine what happens after. I would not recommend this office to anyone

I've had two bad experiences here. The most recent, the woman at the front wanted me to fill out a…read morenew "paper" form with my credit card information and my name/address on it for them to file. I said I was not going to fill it out and was uncomfortable with doing that, given security and fraud risks with providing personal identifiable information (PII) in paper form. She said they will then "refuse" to see me if I don't fill this out. Even though she admitted they already had a credit card on file for me (never gave permission for this). I mentioned I'm happy to pay with credit card but I'm not providing this on paper. What is this 1980? Walked out and submitted a security complaint for the office. The time before this, I came in for an eye test with a nurse who was clearly sick and coughing all over the place and sneezing. She refused to wear a mask so I told her I was uncomfortable with her being that close to my face with no mask. Overall, will never go back here and do not recommend this place to anyone.

The doctors here are wonderful!…read more The Eyeglass department are thieves. I bought my last glasses there, $800. They're no better than the ones I got from Vision Works for $350. I inquired about 1 lens change due to a new script. The wanted to charge me $900.

If I could give zero stars, I would. As a new patient here I was appalled with how I was treated…read more My exam was fine but when it came to picking out my eye glasses everything went downhill. The woman had my insurance wrong and when I tried to tell her that I knew what my insurance benefit was and that it was not as good as she was saying she argued with me and told me she was right. After about 5 minutes of back and fourth and me asking her multiple time to check it again (because I didn't want to be billed more money later due to her mistake) she loudly sighed and checked it. And I was right. She didn't even apologize or acknowledge that she was wrong, just printed a new form out and told me exactly what I had told her my benefits were. Fast forward to me picking up my glasses, I try them on, get them fitted, and head home. I had contacts in but I've never had an issue with my prescription so I didn't even think to take them out to see. A few days later I went to put my glasses on and they didn't feel right. The prescription seemed off and my eyes felt weird, almost like when your glasses are cockeyed on your face and how it makes them feel uncomfortable. I made an appointment to go back and let me tell you, I have never felt so unheard as a patient and so disrespected. The doctor checked my prescription and the glasses and told me that I was wrong and that what I was saying didn't make any sense. She was extremely rude to me and we went back and fourth for a bit and I explained that I understood that it didn't make sense but that something definitely was not right. I asked if maybe my measurements could have been taken wrong at the glasses counter and she said maybe but that she was going to write me a new prescription, so she bumped my prescription up a little bit even though I said that I liked my current prescription. I went out to the glasses counter and asked the woman to measure me to make sure it was accurate and she told me that her measurement was correct and that there was no need. After some back and fourth and me having to start having an attitude she put the device on my face, lopsided, and pretended to check my eye measurements and said, yup, it's correct. I am so appalled. I went to pick my glasses back up after the "changes" and they still don't feel right. I've been wearing glasses for 12+ years so it's not like I don't know how my eyes should feel. I am so frustrated and mad for wasting my money at this place. I will be calling to see if I can receive a refund on my glasses and that will be the last time I ever contact this office again and I will make sure that everyone that I know in West Chester steers clear of this place.
