My vision has deteriorated from a diagnosis of keratoconus in my thirties, a brain tumor in my fifties, and Guillain Barre in my sixties. Bainbridge Eye Care Associates has been a godsend! Their staff is terrific and along with Dr. Todd Bainbridge took the time to evaluate all my needs as well as answer any questions I may have had. Sclera lenses are difficult to fit yet Dr. Bainbridge has me seeing the best that I have in twenty years and the contacts are beyond comfortable! I've been to several doctors (not eye doctors mind you) who just want to tell you whats wrong and get rid of you for the next patient. Dr Bainbridge will gladly explain to you why you can no longer see things that used to be clear. The optician (Bob) is also amazing. He won't sell you on features you don't need, also takes the time to help you find glasses that fit correctly. When I got my first pair here, I must have tried on half the glasses in the place and never once did I feel as though I was an inconvenience or that I should just get on with it. There is an eye care place that's actually right next door to my house, and I still choose to drive across town to go to Bainbridge. Sometimes that means going home, and going all the way back across town to get an adjustment or repair done for one of the kids. Yes, its inconvenient, but totally worth it for the level of service here. Keep up the good work!

If you live in this area and you need a full doctor medical exam, this is the office you want to go to. Between Dr. Harry Halscheid and his knowledgeable & friendly staff (hi Pam & Debbie), I have been well taken care of for all this time. I have had a long history of issues with my eyes, and was always cautioned to pay attention whenever or if I see bright flashing lights. Thankfully, I didn't travel this Thanksgiving weekend, and I was able to get Dr Reto's attention right away when I was seeing something not right. Through a series of phone calls and text messages we concluded I likely had a retinal tear or detachment. Dr. Reto came in on a Sunday morning after Thanksgiving, and drew his conclusion of a retina tear and put me in touch with an on call retina surgeon (Dr. Saran). Two top notch (no interns here) on call doctors on a Sunday! This tag team surely prevented me from potentially getting a detachment and / or losing the vision in my left eye! I can't thank them enough.

I noticed this unassuming shop on my way to my chiropractor and thought I'd see if they could help me out. They could not have been friendlier. I received a second eye exam from them. It was a night and day difference. The optometrist took her time and really made sure the prescription was right. While the other place relied on machines to tell them what to do, these people were old school in their approach and highly skilled. They had a good selection of high quality frames and provided great service at every step. If you want to make sure you're dealing with real professionals, Visionary Eyewear is a great choice. I don't normally write reviews, but this is one of those places you could walk by without even noticing and it was one of my better eye care experiences.

He didn't provide me any service or tell me anything I didn't already know. I left the office in pain with no advice but eye drops. I have been in pain for 2 months and all he can say is eye drops. I have eye drops. I am reporting him to my insurance company because the ICD 9 code he used isn't related to my condition. I will go to Philadelphia and see a real doctor next time. Complete waste of time. Then I find out he does mostly old ladies botox injections more than see eye patients. He is at a place called Chester County Eye Care. Make a note.
