The woman had my insurance wrong and when I tried to tell her that I knew what my insurance benefit was and that it was not as good as she was saying she argued with me and told me she was right. After about 5 minutes of back and fourth and me asking her multiple time to check it again (because I didn't want to be billed more money later due to her mistake) she loudly sighed and checked it. And I was right. She didn't even apologize or acknowledge that she was wrong, just printed a new form out and told me exactly what I had told her my benefits were. Fast forward to me picking up my glasses, I try them on, get them fitted, and head home. I had contacts in but I've never had an issue with my prescription so I didn't even think to take them out to see. A few days later I went to put my glasses on and they didn't feel right. The prescription seemed off and my eyes felt weird, almost like when your glasses are cockeyed on your face and how it makes them feel uncomfortable. I made an appointment to go back and let me tell you, I have never felt so unheard as a patient and so disrespected. The doctor checked my prescription and the glasses and told me that I was wrong and that what I was saying didn't make any sense. She was extremely rude to me and we went back and fourth for a bit and I explained that I understood that it didn't make sense but that something definitely was not right. I asked if maybe my measurements could have been taken wrong at the glasses counter and she said maybe but that she was going to write me a new prescription, so she bumped my prescription up a little bit even though I said that I liked my current prescription. I went out to the glasses counter and asked the woman to measure me to make sure it was accurate and she told me that her measurement was correct and that there was no need. After some back and fourth and me having to start having an attitude she put the device on my face, lopsided, and pretended to check my eye measurements and said, yup, it's correct. I am so appalled. I went to pick my glasses back up after the "changes" and they still don't feel right. I've been wearing glasses for 12+ years so it's not like I don't know how my eyes should feel. I am so frustrated and mad for wasting my money at this place. I will be calling to see if I can receive a refund on my glasses and that will be the last time I ever contact this office again and I will make sure that everyone that I know in West Chester steers clear of this place.

My vision has deteriorated from a diagnosis of keratoconus in my thirties, a brain tumor in my fifties, and Guillain Barre in my sixties. Bainbridge Eye Care Associates has been a godsend! Their staff is terrific and along with Dr. Todd Bainbridge took the time to evaluate all my needs as well as answer any questions I may have had. Sclera lenses are difficult to fit yet Dr. Bainbridge has me seeing the best that I have in twenty years and the contacts are beyond comfortable! Dr Bainbridge will gladly explain to you why you can no longer see things that used to be clear. The optician (Bob) is also amazing. He won't sell you on features you don't need, also takes the time to help you find glasses that fit correctly. When I got my first pair here, I must have tried on half the glasses in the place and never once did I feel as though I was an inconvenience or that I should just get on with it. There is an eye care place that's actually right next door to my house, and I still choose to drive across town to go to Bainbridge. Sometimes that means going home, and going all the way back across town to get an adjustment or repair done for one of the kids. Yes, its inconvenient, but totally worth it for the level of service here. Keep up the good work!

I sent a new, updated script by email some time ago and no one ever got back to me. (I wear contacts most of the time as I have severe myopia plus astigmatism.) I've just now updated the script and called to follow up on the original offer. I do not live close to their locations and was just calling as a heads-up. Guess I got the wrong person on the phone because suddenly there's a time limit and they won't honor the stated policy.
