They had already verified my insurance, knew my exact co-pay, and I even offered to pay it upfront. Still, they refused to let me see the doctor. I've never experienced this with any provider before. This made me lose all trust in their billing practices. If they mishandle a claim or insurance rejects something, I have no doubt they'd just charge the card without doing the proper follow-up. In today's environment of healthcare data breaches, requiring a card on file with no limits or opt-out is not just unsafe--it's unethical. If they treat new patients like this before the first exam, imagine what happens after. I would not recommend this office to anyone

I mentioned I'm happy to pay with credit card but I'm not providing this on paper. What is this 1980? Walked out and submitted a security complaint for the office. The time before this, I came in for an eye test with a nurse who was clearly sick and coughing all over the place and sneezing. She refused to wear a mask so I told her I was uncomfortable with her being that close to my face with no mask. Overall, will never go back here and do not recommend this place to anyone.

A few weeks ago I went there again to get my contact lens exam and as always they were very nice and helpful. BTW they had a new member, April, and she is very helpful too! I did my exam and was given two weeks to try a new kind of contact lens, which did much better job to keep moisture. I went back and asked for some adjustment on my prescription and then I was given another two weeks to try that before I decided to buy. They didn't force me to order anything from them but I wanted to. I traveled a lot recently. Before my order arrived, they gave me some contact lens so I could use them for my trips. Today my order arrived but I couldn't get it as I came home late and their office will be closed this weekend. I'm flying out this weekend so I ask for help. They were so nice and were willing to drop the box on my patio. When I came home, saw my contact lens box sitting on my patio and a line of footprints in the deep snow, I decided to write this review to express my appreciation. Charges are fair doesn't overcharge or add extra charges some other places do- for example last time I went to "MyEyeDr" who charged me $170 contact lens fitting fee to put me in the same contacts I had been wearing ten years. Dr Luscavage's office charges $50 and waves that if you buy contacts there. Much more fair pricing structure working with what insurances pay. For my children I was not charged anything over what the insurance paid.

Each every time I go to Broomall Eye care, I get the right prescription! This may sound obvious; but trust me, I have had many bad experiences on the road. Recently, my wife came along for my visit. Dr A also looked at her eyes to see what he could diagnose. My wife has had eye trouble for years astigmatisms, retina/macula problems. Dr A advised her to see a cataract surgeon as he thought there was no other damage that he could assess. Long story short, my wife went to a recommended specialist and she now sees better than she has in many years. Dr A is a great Dr. I highly recommend his services. Unassuming, quiet and humble but very professional and knowledgable. Great Dr! And, yes, my glasses are the right prescription and work great!
