Yummo! First let me apologize to the chicken for what just happened, but honesty it had it coming. Lol The minute I opened the box I couldn't wait to taste it. I opted for the classic crunch which is like a dry rub, a perfect blend of savory with a hint of sweet. The order came with both flats and drums and normally I am a flats gal. I was shocked when I bit into the drum. It was juicy and tender. It doesn't taste like the actual chicken is seasoned prior to it being battered, but it was still good.. My food came out quick and it was packaged well for my to go order. Its a smaller establishment with about 4 tables. 2 of them big enough to seat 4. It was clean and the service was great. Definitely worth every penny! My 6 wing combo was about $15 bucks.

Made a second visit with a dear dining pal yesterday. Last time I had a curbside pickup, so hadn't seen the inside nor food served to other diners. We ordered at the counter, fast-casual style. The menu has many exciting choices. My friend wanted the wings, but we were told there would be a twenty-minute wait for them because they weren't ready. Odd since wings are a lunch item and we were there at noon. So we went with the drumsticks. We were hungry, so ordered the five piece special for $15.99 with a choice of cole slaw or radish salad and two sauce flavors. We also ordered seasoned fries and vegetable potstickers to share. Well, when we are food arrived we were shocked and loled. Those chicken legs are the most ridiculously big drumsticks we had ever seen. That was so much food!! A gentleman next to us said he guesses we hadn't been before and laughed. He had two orders of bao buns, the bulgogi and pork belly. They looked inviting and are on our list for next time. Back to the chicken: it was divine. A very thin very crispy coating over unbelievably tender and juicy chicken. I had chosen the soy/garlic and Korean BBQ. Both were excellent; I don't think I've had tastier chicken ever... and I'm old! We managed ONE leg each, the slaw, fries, and dumplings and were stuffed. Given boxes we packed up and took home four gargantuan legs. FYI, the leftovers heated up beautifully in the oven; still crispy and juicy. The space is small and immaculate, with just a few tables. Lots of people came in to pick up takeout orders, so Bon Chon was busy. Bathrooms are immaculate as well. If wings had been available, this would have been five stars. Definitely worth your visit.

First Impressions: Small location, but very clean inside. Very artsy and just themed based on K-pop (at least that's the feel I got). Interactions: The gentlemen was nice and kind, so no issues there. He made some great recommendations and I decided to capitalize on them. Service: The service was fast, easy and pain-free, and surprisingly fun. Waiting in the lobby isn't bad at all with all that's going on inside for such a small restaurant. Food: I have to say, the food was amazing. I absolutely love Korean Fried Chicken, and this place did not disappoint. Flavorful, filling, and most of all just a unique flavor profile for both sauces of choice. It was very fresh and hot so I always appreciate that. The crunchiness is insane and what Korean Fried chicken is known for. Value: It is a bit on the pricer side for food, I wouldn't say its a great value for the price as there are other competitors in this place that offer slightly better value in terms of price, but the food volume is here at Bonchon. Recommendation: I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is in the mood for Korean Fried Chicken. It is definitely an experience when it comes to trying it the first time, but if your a big fried chicken person and love that extra crunch with the uniqueness of the flavors, this is the spot. Just a reminder that this place is a bit pricey but you pay for what you get. I will be back! Thank you.

After a trip to TJs, we decided to try out Bonchon. Drive by quite often but had not stopped. I had my daughter with me so we went in to take out our meal for home. Their menu has a nice variety and honestly we had no idea what to order. My daughter ordered the chicken sandwich which includes fries and cup of coleslaw. She enjoyed it and mentioned the sauce was not spicy but the chicken was fresh and the fries were delicious. I ordered the Bao buns which came in order of three. The bun was delicious with a piece of fresh fried chicken, a slice of thick cucumber, Cole slaw and mayo. The crunch and softness combo was perfect. My daughter said she will order those in the future. (I did give her a taste) Then we decided to order their Korean donuts. These were incredible. The dough was a beautiful eggy yeasty dough and perfectly cooked with cinnamon sugar on outside. They included a small glaze was so good. Not overly sweet just perfect for dipping or dripping on top. We will be back to try something different. The interior is clean, and colorful and the young woman who helped us today was polite, and helpful!

I'm obsessed with Bonchon's pot stickers, but also really enjoy their boneless wings. Both are perfect for sharing, but also a great solo meal. Highly recommend!

Delicious crispy full of flavor chicken, cooked fresh to order. Ordering from the kiosk is simple quick & your order gets sent straight to the kitchen creating a faster experience in receiving your food. Had the soy garlic wings which comes with a complimentary side either coleslaw or pickles radish. Also git the bulgogi fries rice with scrambled egg , both were fresh & full of flavor, Looking forward to returning & next time trying out the Korean doughnut

My husband and I ordered takeout from here this week and though my husband's meal was pretty good (the wings and fries), I didn't especially enjoy the japchae. It felt like all noodles and veggies and lacked much meat. I was really disappointed. Completely different from my husband's experience with the plentiful wings. I will say that the wings had a perfect crisp to them for us and good flavor (wish there were more flavors to choose from though!) ! It's interesting also how many variations to the chicken you can order. They have strips, wings- both boneless and bone in, as well as just drumsticks or just wings or a combo. The bulgogi fries were also really good. I did feel the place was a little expensive as well.

The chicken was the true star that was 5 stars. The service was also incredible! The cashier was very helpful and kind. 3 stars because the ice machine was broken and the bulgogi tteobokki was very bland. While the rice cakes were soft it was like a soup and didn't look like the picture at all and really lacked flavor. But the chicken was crispy and packed with flavor. I would go back for that !

Went in again today. This time I ordered takeaway. The staff were very nice when taking my order, but it took 10-15 minutes for my food to arrive which felt like an eternity. It is probably best to order ahead to avoid sitting and waiting. It's ok though because the wait was worth it. The wings were delicious as was the coleslaw side I got. Parking in this parking is very limited as you are sharing it with 3-4 other restaurants and a bar. I felt lucky to even find a spot.

Chicken is my preferred protein so I was excited to try Bonchon. We ordered wings, strips, combo of wings/drums, bao buns with pork belly and house fried rice with ribeye. The chicken at Bonchon is outstanding. We had the chicken sauced three different ways: Soy Garlic, Spicy, Korean BBQ. All were delicious. The chicken is served with a side of pickled radish or coleslaw. I was thinking we'd get three sides since we ordered three different chicken dishes but only received two. The coleslaw is pretty good and I loved the pickled radish. The bao buns would have been good if they'd been served without the coleslaw. The coleslaw made the buns soggy, gross and they fell apart. The house fried rice with ribeye was below average and the portion size was extremely small for $14. We asked for some of the dipping sauces that were in the refrigerator but were told they charge for them and we'd already paid so we didn't get any of those. My excitement for Bonchon has now waned but I'd definitely go back for the chicken and skip everything else.

I was so excited to hear that Bonchon was opening up a location in Tucson! I ordered 10 piece wings with half soy garlic and half kbbq. The wings were so crunchy and crispy, very light batter but still juicy! Ordered an extra side of pickled radish because it goes so well with the chicken. Also ordered a side of bulgogi fries which were delicious also! Service was quick and everyone was very friendly. Only downside is that the indoor space is limited, there isn't a ton of seating!

Immediately upon entering the hostess greeted us very kindly and even asked if it was our first time. Such a small gesture, but it makes the world of difference. The food was delicious! We enjoyed Yangnyeom sauce on the wings. The house fried rice was also very delicious. A little pricier than I expected, so it's a once in a while type place not an every week place.

    Wings and legs. Two flavors.

Pretty good! The chicken katsu was amazing. The sauce was superb. The container they serve it in is awkward to eat out of. The wing leg combo was pretty good. Love the Korean BBQ sauce. The garlic soy lacked flavor. The dredge for the chicken itself is bland. So the legs, which were huge and plump, were great. The wings not so great because you eat more of the dredge that is fried around the wing. If the dredge had flavor. Would be great. Look forward to exploring more of the menu.

Excellent food. There are only 5 tables and it's not very well run. A bit disorganized but well worth it. The food was excellent.

A new week another first time visit. This week we visit Tucson Chix located at Grant and Craycroft…read morein the former Burger King location. Upon entering it almost has a barn like feel to it. High vaulted ceilings, raw wood trim, concrete floors. Overall well kept up, not dirty. They have a variety of chicken sandwiches on the menu along with bone in, boneless and chicken strips. A big plus is having cheese curds. They have a self order kiosk as well as walk up register. I went with a "Wildcat" and a "Asiago Parmesan" chicken sandwich, an order of cheese curds and a black unsweetened tea. My son ordered the "Sonoran" chicken sandwich. Let's start with the cheese curds, these are the real deal, white cheddar cheese of all shapes and sizes fried to a perfect golden brown. They pop when you eat them! Best I've had in Tucson! Now for the chicken sandwiches. Man I've driven by this place 100's of times. Why did I wait so long to stop in? The "Wildcat" Juicy perfectly golden fried chicken strips with lettuce, tomato, purple onion, chipotle mayo on a soft sweet delicious brioche bun. The "Asiago Parmesan " again first bite and the juices flowed. Parmesan chips top this delicious sandwich along with lettuce and delicious sauce. The freshness of ALL ingredients is absolutely on par. I am going to just say it, as a lifetime Tucsonian, I have never no do I think I will, find a better chicken sandwich in this town. So far, absolutely hands down the best fast food in this town. I will for sure be back. A+++ Happy eating all!

Was looking to get my burrito fix on when in town for an appointment, did a search for 'best…read moreburrito near me' and this place came up. I shot through the drive in and ordered 3 burritos to take home (but not just for myself!) I did the Bean, Surf/Turf and the Tejano. Now, I will say the drive through seemed to take awhile (over 10 minutes) when I got up to the window but if they are making stuff fresh, I have zero problem waiting. The young man at the window was apologetic so who knows if this is the norm or was an anomoly. I got home and my husband and I busted into the burritos. I did half the bean and half the Tejano. He scarfed the Surf/Turf. These burritos are everything and more, along with the tasty and spicy red/green salsas that came with. That Tejano burrito is a perfect combo of flavor with the red chile/chix together and as someone who normally is bean/cheese all day - I would 100% order the Tejano again. 5 star burritos right here.

I ordered the Tejano burrito in the drive through this morning. BIG mistake. The menu describes…read morethe burrito as "Red chile chicken with cheese, potatoes and sour cream" yum right? Yeah, no. For 11+ dollars I got this... the potatoes were recooked french fries, chewy so you know they weren't fresh. It was breakfast time, why not give me the breakfast potatoes? The entire bottom of the burrito was a solid piece of chicken, DRY chicken and the sour cream was a glob right in the middle, nowhere else. For 11+ dollars, they need to do better.
