The fried chicken was so good and crispy, it's only the second place I've had friend chicken but so far the best I've had! The soy sauce wings were to die for, warning about the spicy wings - they aren't playing around! Very spicy and delicious! Service was super quick as well, probably took maybe 10 minutes for the food to come out. read more

Called in a take-out order and it was ready within 15 minutes (perfect because my drive is also 15 minutes to this location). Ordered: Medium wings, soy garlic and with pickled radish- I feel soy garlic is on the saltier side but I eat it with rice and the pickled radish, so it balances it out. Bull dak- this spicy dish really has a kick to it which I appreciated. I wish there would have been more rice cake in it, because I've had Bonchon's tteokbokki before and thought it was just ok and not flavorful enough. We had enough leftover wings that we heated in the oven the following day and they still had a good crisp to them. Overall, a good, quick takeout experience for some tasty wings. read more

The chicken is NOT spicy enough. I thought it would of been more spicy. I LOVE the taco. I can't wait to go back for more. Good price, but a 15 minute wait. read more

Korean fried chicken is amazing! Cannot wait to further explore the menu the next time I am in the area.

Second trip was much less crowded and confusing as tables were available and their post-it note, free for all waitlist system was not in use. But unfortunately the service was not good and this time neither was the food it was cold and no way cooked to order. ( except the fries, they were excellent ) the Kimchi was bad, I told the waiter the chicken was cold and something was foul with the kimchi, he said "you can not cancel order" I didn't know what he meant other than he didn't care. I'm not going to argue with them but I'm not going back. We had the chicken delivered within two minutes of ordering, about 3 minutes later they brought out the Kimchi ( which is served cold no prep needed) then another 5 minutes later they brought out hot seasoned fries. There are two other entrees I wanted to try but I really don't want to give this franchise any more money. They clearly do not care about their customers. read more

Love the chicken here! Have only been able to try their food via UberEats due to covid; but I absolutely love it. Excited to visit the restaurant read more

This is a small place so not a place your going to sit and visit for to long but If you want good food with quick service. This is it. Arrive at 1220pm on Sunday and every spot was full but not to long before a small table was available, I ordered the combo chicken plate and that was enough for two. I would suggest family style with sharing. I would love to try more items so I will be back read more

Love their chicken. Love their fries. Love the soy ginger. Love the hot. Love the pickled radish. Basically, I love it.

Good food visit if you like chicken. It is better than other chicken places I have been to

Just ordered their soy garlic and was beyond disappointed!!!! Wings are MINIATURE!!!! And there was no taste. What a waste of money. I would stick with ordering from the Uptown and Dinkytown locations. Because this is garbage!!!! read more

My wife as been here before and wanted me to try it. The food was really good. We started with the wings. Half soy garlic and half spicy. The crisp on these wings were some of the best I've ever had. The spicy was way to spicy for me and even my wife struggled with them. The soy garlic was so delicious. Extremely flavorful! We also got pork bun. These were fun and delicious. The cucumber definitely made it perfect. Flavorful, well seasoned and the buns held all the ingredients together. We tried the marinated ribeye sliders. The cucumber again made this perfect. We tried the takoyaki with the bonito flakes. To be honest the bonito flakes ruined it (my opinion only) strong fish taste. After wiping all the bonito flakes off they were delicious. Next time I'll order with out the flakes. The shrimp shumai was okay. Personal taste again. Their kimchi was really good too. Their seasoned fries are the best I've had. I'm also a coleslaw snob and rarely find one that I like, well Bonchon has slaw that I'll order every time I'm there. And you must always get the Japanese mayo. Great for dipping fries. read more

Chicken nuggets they called strips were to spicy, the rice it taste pretty decent but nothing special. We get to the store and was only couple tables after we got seated the restaurant got pretty full and everyone was served before our table. Store doesn't offer anything fancy for the prices you pay, you feel like you are in a frontier airplane eating. read more

Dined in with my family on a Friday evening. Nice and clean when you walk in and the staff was very welcoming. We ordered a mix of things off the menu. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The chicken was hot and crispy and juicy. The white rice was amazing with the chicken. The fries was absolutely delicious and addicting. Can't wait to come back or order take out soon. read more

Lives up to bonchon brand! Solid tasty soy garlic legs. Coleslaw is fresh. Bulgogi is solid. Service is quick and servers pay attention to detail. read more

I have been here twice now. First time I had the chicken wings and drummies which I really enjoyed. Kind of wish they had a dipping sauce for the wings and drummies. Second time I took my family. My kids bith had an order of potstickers and they split the seasoned fries. Do not miss out on the fries! Nice portion and decent potstickers. My wife had the Bulgogi Korean Tacos which she enjoyed. I had the Seafood Bibimbap. Got to say this was an utter failure. Zero taste, very little seafood (tiny shrimp and scallops), just not good. May have been better with Bulgogi or Chicken but I would not risk it again. Given this I will go back again and try to order better. read more

I hope the order I received was a fluke plus I don't recommend being the first customer when they open each day. My chicken drumsticks were raw at the bone. They were clearly not fresh cooked, probably left over from the day before. Another red flag regarding freshness is I wasn't offered a choice between hot spicy or garlic soy chicken. read more

Great food & quick ! We just moved here and had to try it . The spicy chicken is pretty hot .. be prepared . If your man (or women) enough .. try the Bull Dak .. good luck read more

I have been here many times and the food has been great every time, especially the wings and drummies. My only 'complaint' is that I wish they had a rewards program or offered a coupon every now and then. Doesn't seem to have many specials ever and to feed a large family can get pretty expensive, but it is worth it. they can also get pretty slow on the weekends so order well in advance. Food is awesome though and the staff is very friendly. recommend! read more

I ordered delivery through GrubHub. I really wanted to order EVERYTHING on the menu, but I limited myself to the chicken wings and pork belly buns. I was not disappointed. It was FANTASTIC! Thanks for making COVID19 somewhat tolerable as I was able to chow down on some pork belly goodness and fried chicken heaven. I lik read more

First time eating here and the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu.

Food was good but the portions were to small for your $$$. Service is ok.. The fry chicken wings and drumsticks are the best.

Went to Bonchon for the first time last night. Here's what we had and our ratings. Chicken fried rice- huge portion. Very fresh. Good flavor.9/10 Potstickers- Big portion. Crispy. Slightly thicker wrapper than the usual potsticker. Good flavor. 8/10 Shrimp shyumai- Got it fried. Very strong fishy taste. I normally LOVE shrimp. This was inedible. 0/10 Pork Buns- Great bun, delicious sauce. Pork was tough. 5/10 Coleslaw- Delicious! Very creamy, paired nicely believe it or not with the fried rice. 10/10 Combo Chicken- got all soy garlic. AMAZING. Hot, crispy, so flavorful. 20/10 I will go back, 100%. I wanted to try a bunch of things on the menu and I'm glad I did. Next time, I'm all about the Chicken. read more

The chicken wings are good the drums are pretty big and is just a great place to eat.

Went for dinner here last night. Pretty tasty food! Service was friendly and incredibly fast. The chicken was tender and juicy but the wings needed a tiny bit more sauce on them. My bulgogi fried rice was well prepared. Overall I would have said easily five stars but the prices seemed a bit high for what it was. In general, yes I would go back. read more

Best fast casual fried chicken there is! Love the crispy skin and moist inside. Great dipping sauces too. You guys rock!!

Loved! Hot, fresh, traditional Korean food. Staff were all exceptionally smiley and attentive. My food was served in a stone bowl and wash piping hot to the last bite. A new fav. read more

We went to Bonchon for my birthday dinner It was Tuesday night, but it was packed! The service vice was pretty quick and food was all delicious. We got variety of food and shared with 4 people. Got soy and garlic - was a little too salty for my taste, but good. Sweet and crunchy was our favorite. We have to try spicy next time wheel we go. If you like wings and Asian food, this might be your spot read more

Very good fried chicken! Surprisingly good, have never tried this chain and other locations have average reviews. Also recommend the fried rice, you can tell everything is made to order! read more

Bonchon Maple Grove - Korean Near Me - Maple Grove, Minnesota

Ordered the soy garlic chicken, it was very disappointing. It was heavily breaded, tough and dry. I ended up sending it back. I'm used to the Bon Chon in Boston which always had crunchy and juicy chicken. This was so far from that. read more

I'm not usually a big fried chicken eater but after eating at this place I am. Easily the best fried chicken wings I've ever had. Thier appetizers are excellent as well, highly recommended. read more

Quite a surprise! This is pleasant sit-down restaurant masquerading as a fast food joint. Ambience lacks a bit, but the menu that the server gave us at the table is both attractive and extensive. The food is the same. Also, beer and wine are available. I was expecting to try the wings, but there were so many attractive meal options that I gave up on that boring choice immediately. My wife had the Shrimp Shumai (an appetizer) and I had the Bull Dak. servings were generous; my Bull Dak doggie box might serve both of us for dinner tonight. Certainly it will be enough for me. Service was attentive and prompt. We got there around 11:30 and there were many open tables (of maybe 15-20 total), but by noon the place was filling up and the shelf of take-out bags was also filling up. I'm not sure if they take reservations. We'll find out when we decide to go there for dinner. Prices are high for fast food but not for a restaurant. I don't recall seeing any entrés priced at over $10 and most were in the $10-15 range. Our lunch, including one iced tea was about $25 before tip. I expect our upcoming dinner tab will be under $50 plus whatever wine costs. I did not notice how the wine pricing ran but given the nature of the restaurant I'd expect it to be reasonable. read more

Came here for dinner with the hubs on a Tuesday evening. Food was good. Service was decent. But I rated it 3 stars because I feel like they're more focused on the "To Go" or Pick-Up orders than the eat in orders. Or else they just totally forgot about the rest of our order. But I do recommend the spicy wings/drummies. They're super yummy! read more

This was my first time trying this place. I placed my order online and pick it up. It was easy and convenient. We ordered chicken wings and chapchae and both of it was good. The chicken wings was crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Will definitely come back to try other things on the menu. read more

I'm just not impressed with this place considering all the hype I've heard. I've even given it 3 different tries thinking maybe it was not good visits originally. My family enjoys the chicken and they'll return. I find it either too spicy on one visit or too salty in another. Sorry guys I think I'll pass in the future. read more

Wear your masks! Cover your noses! I won't go to restaurants where customer service isn't complying with the Executive Orders.

My work bought some Bonchon chicken for us but by the time I got to it the chicken wasn't warm and the spicy chicken was gone but still tasted good. Yet during this Corona virus atmosphere my family is stepping up our support for restaurants by ordering out twice a week. My daughter loves Korean food so with my turn in the rotation I ordered from Bonchon. She loved it so much she reordered it 15 hrs later. The spicy chicken is like 80% heat compared to Thai heat. So weak taste buds can't handle it but it's very tasty for the people with calloused taste buds. read more

This place is outstanding I couldnt say enough about it. Very nice traditional aesthetic of the place that makes a great dine in option. My service was outstanding and waitresses were pleasant. Bonchon has some of the best chicken that I have had in a while, I had the garlic option and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good spot to eat. read more

Huge greasy wings and battered fries. We got the half and half, spicy was the best flavor. The fries was super greasy that it hurt my stomach. The pork buns were okay, it was one slice of pork belly on a bun with coleslaw. I wouldnt recommend tacos, its the usual taco wrap, lettuce and meat that you can make at home. My husband loves the food there and would eat again. For me its once in a long time since its too greasy for me. Ordered and pick up is on time. read more
