Tried this place hoping it'd become a go to takeout spot. Pork fried rice had really good flavor (4/5), but the pork chunks felt a little processed. The wontons were easily the highlight, legit my favorite thing we ordered (5/5). Orange chicken was solid too (4/5): crispy and better than most takeout versions. Lo mein was fine but forgettable (3/5). Sesame noodles were the only real miss (2/5) pretty bland and not much flavor. The space is tiny with only a couple tables, and the waiting area kind of blends into the dining space. Lots of yelling from the kitchen while we were there, so definitely more of a takeout spot than dine-in (2/5). Overall it beats the big chains, just not by a huge margin. I'd order again if I'm nearby, mostly for the wontons. read more

Good evening I am writing this review as a dasher and a more than regular customer. I just wanted to add that this restaurant is one of the most class act Chinese restaurants around, both service and quality of the their food. It is a family owned and ran business, the owners kids are the nicest kids you will ever meet, they help out up front and at the same time they are busy doing their school work. The food is always fresh and amazing. As a dasher when I dash, they always have the food ready to go. I don't give many reviews unless I think I they should get a 4.8 or higher. So please give this place the respect they deserve and try them out, as I writing this I am also eating their food at the end of the night after dashing for 14hrs. I was in the mood to try a new Chinese restaurant. I hopped on YELP to see reviews of restaurants nearby. New China was at the top of the list. I saw a new feature of delivery via GrubHub. I decided to place an order for delivery. Only $1.50 with minimum $15 order. Well that's easy to do with Chinese food. I wanted to try many things to get a sampling of what New China has to offer. I ordered Sesame Chicken and General Tso (little spicy). Both came with white rice. *Sesame was basic. Sister liked that it came with broccoli and had extra sauce, not thick like molasses. *General Tso was very good. Ordered "little spicy". It had just a hint of heat. Red chili pepper flakes!! This will probably be my standard go-to of I order again. Came with broccoli too. But I picked it out. No! *Because I ordered fried rice, we did not sample the white rice. Saved for another day, another dish. I also wanted to compare their chicken fried rice and vegetable lo mein to Osaka. I know they are Japanese but it's the best I've had so far. **Rice was fine, a little dry. Adding sweet and sour sauce helped. *Lo Mein was so good. Lots of sauce, not too salty. Adequate ratio of vegt to noodles. Glad to see the thick spaghetti noodles vs the thin angel hair. No!! Cream cheese wontons are a staple when ordering take - out. We liked the shape of them. Small little bags vs triangles. Easy to break apart and share the CC on both sides. When opening up the delivery bag I found a surprise on the top. Donuts!!! I didn't order them... not on my invoice. I hope they were a gift and not a mix up on someone else's order. Thank you! Also in the bag were the standard soy sauce packets and fortune cookies. As someone with a restricted diet (vegan) I always am SUPER impressed when I come across an establishment that is able to veganize an order 100% of the time and always takes care to make sure there's no animal product in the dishes! Quite possibly the BEST Chinese restaurant in Blaine! I ordered orange chicken and hot and sour soup. Both were beyond amazing! The orange chicken was so delicious, the sauce was not overly sweet, the chicken was coated fully without becoming soggy and it had just the right amount of heat. I love my orange chicken and it has been hard to find a Chinese restaurant that served it without it tasting like eating a jar of marmalade. The hot and sour soup was super yummy too. I think this place is take out/delivery only. This is a go to for my americanized chinese food cravings. Somehow everything is still super hot when it's delivered, which is amazing. The food is all solid. The thing I like most is how super fresh their vegetables are. the egg foo young and lo mein are fire. I will usually add on some sort of beef and chicken dish as well depending on what i'm craving, and i've never been disappointed. Only thing is food isn't as salty as some other americanized chinese places, so if you like your food more salty, you may not like this place. read more

I've ordered the pork and broccoli, with pork fried rice and an egg roll, twice a month for the last year and a half. It was great! Until about two months ago. They have switched their pork from real meat, to this thinly shredded nonsense that tastes like it's straight from a bucket. It's just awful and cheap. Bummer. In my experience at other restaurants, you order General Tso chicken you get a bunch of tasty chicken. If you order sweet and sour chicken you get a bunch of doughy chicken. Staying in Blaine for a work event - I decided to try some local Chinese cuisine that delivers to my hotel. I stumbled upon New China and was overall impressed. The dinner combination has a lot of food for the price! The General Tso's chicken (I ordered it extra spicy) was on point - big pieces of chicken and little breading with a good sauce to go with, the chicken fried rice was good as well. I'm really surprised at the negative reviews. Tried this place for the first time. The service was decent. Food didn't take long. Ordered fried rice, chow mein, Kung pao, and garlic chicken. The food was hot and fresh when I got home. The portions were very generous, seriously enough for major leftovers. The Kung pao was even better leftover. The vegetables were fresh and the sauces extremely flavorful. The one complaint I have is that the chow mein had a spicy bite to it. To me, chow mein is a mild dish and this chow mein had some sort of spice that burned my mouth.
