Great service and friendly staff But the food was just meh for me I'm not really into fried chicken anyway but wanted to give this a go since it's always busy and heard good things Tried the Seoul Sampler as it has a variety of different foods * 2 drums, 4 wings, Bulgogi Fries, Pork Potstickers, Korean Street Corn and Coleslaw. Your choice of Bonchon signature sauce and a dipping sauce. The chicken itself was too large , I will say it was a nice crispy texture but I didn't care for the sticky spicy sweet glaze flavor The bulgogi fires were good , potstickers were ok Not a fan of the street corn I can see why this place is popular if your a fried chicken fan - just not for me

My favorite fried chicken spot The service at this location is great, and the food is delicious. The last time I went, I had the loaded fries, street corn, and of course the Korean fried chicken. So good!! This time I tried the new Yangnyeom flavor and it was delicious. 100% recommend.

*updated review* I have finally eaten in restaurant and the experience was fantastic! All of the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The place is larger than it looks from the outside and there is plenty of comfortable seating. It is very bright inside with a minimalistic vibe that I like. All the food comes out beautifully hot, fresh and yummy. And if you order chicken they bring you a separate bucket for you bones. It's little things like that that really elevate an experience.

Family friendly, affordable, delicious food. Not a fast food but worth the wait. And service is good. Restaurant is clean and neat.

The place is small but cozy. Could use more comfortable chairs. The food is fantastic! Best fried chicken i have tasted in a very long while. The fried rice, the glass noodles, ALL excellent! The servers were attentive and very cordial. Quick service hot food, it was fantastic!

Overpriced and very mid food. Definitely not authentic Korean food. The bibimbap comes with scrambled egg (why?!) so I asked if they could instead do a fried egg. Waiter said it would be extra, I asked to please ask if it could just be substituted for me. He agreed to do it but never did, just brought the food with no scrambled egg but an oddly fried/poached egg and the extra charge for it on my receipt. The vegetables in the bibimbap were flavorless and I'm confused as to why they put shredded lettuce in it. It's giving chipotle. Kimchi was extra limp, takotaki was also just blah. Overall I'd say if you dunk this good in a lot of sauce it could be good. Ask for extra sauce if everything... Would not recommend would not return.

It is a typical Asian fast food restaurant, the staff is friendly and helpful, th food was excellent and when they say spicy they mean spicy. I would definitely eat Here again

I've been going to Bonchon a long time. Always love their wings (half soy garlic, half spicy). I really hate that they stopped serving the salmon ball which was incredible. The locations I've been always have a nice clean interior. Service is good as well. Looking forward to going back and trying other menu items if I can get myself to stop ordering the wings!

I love this place so much they have a hot bar with gyoza, onion rings, chicken and spring rolls…read moreplus a sauce bar with tons of ingredients to make your own unique sauces (that sauce makes a great marinade or addition to the bbq meats)! I made a few different ones with ponzu, green onions, garlic and ginger and chiles. Another had peanut sauce and can't miss out on the yum yum!! I also enjoyed the pickled radish and kimchi. On to the meats my table chose our items and shared the grill space our server was super helped and attentive once the grill got going it got a little dark cause we asked for it to be turned up higher but made the meat so tasty!! We got garlic shrimps salmon, mushrooms, onion, bulgogi beef, short rib, and pineapple!! Just have to watch out for any cross contamination since you'll have raw and cooked meat at the table the server brought us extra utensils to help with that problem. They do a great job!! We thoroughly enjoyed the meal!!

We just happened to be there within the 3 days so it was a nice surprise! First time we tried both hot pot and bbq. This time we just did bbq and it was plenty. The food is so fresh and marinated perfectly. Meats were tender but you do have to know what to order because some cuts were more chewy. My favorite were the short ribs and bulgogi. So fun to cook yourself, they changed out the grill multiple times and you can also request them to. Love the sauce station where you can make your own dipping sauce. Some fried foods, kimchi and fruit available buffet style too. Love all the options here. Love that you can order on the tablet but it is confusing if we had received all our food before we ordered more. They also have desserts available but you need to order with waiter. Restaurant is loud but it's a great time. They do sing happy birthday to you with a flashing neon sign.

If I could, I would give this restaurant a 10-star rating. I have never had a moment where I was disappointed with Chi Maek. The service is always on point--from the top (the owner) to everyone who works there. Everyone greets you with a smile, and both their food and service keep me coming back. I like to say they make you feel like you're part of their family. And if you didn't know any different, you would think you were visiting an upscale, very expensive restaurant, but their prices are just right, not too expensive, and the food still tastes amazing. I am part of a retired group of ladies, and not only does my family love going back again and again, but my group was so impressed that we visited more than once, and some of those ladies still go back on their own. As you walk through the door, they greet you not only with a smile, but they also call your name as if they have known you forever. As I stood waiting for my order, I noticed I wasn't the only one; they greeted every customer the same way, with a smile and by calling them by name as they walked through the door.

We ordered Bulgogi Fries, So-tteok-so-tteok, and Danmae Boneless Wings with a side of white rice. The food itself was very tasty and a great value due to the large portion sizes. The only note I have is that I might ask for extra sauce for our wings next time just because I prefer them saucier, but that's just my personal preference! Every employee we interacted with was very kind and thoughtful. The restaurant has a very low-key vibe so it was great to just sit and relax while enjoying our food.

King's Restaurant (Korean) in Fridley, MN is delicious! We ordered Naeng-Myeon buckwheat noodle…read moresoup, which is served cold and only available in the summer. The buckwheat noodles are very chewy and served with pickled white radish slices and julienned cucumbers, half of a hard boiled egg, and 2 thin slices of beef brisket. Note: the Korean buckwheat noodles in this soup are slight translucent and chewy, and not the same type as the Japanese buckwheat noodles, which are not as chewy. The noodle soup is accompanied by 2 bottles sauces: hot/spicy yellow mustard and vinegar to add per your desired spice and sour level. The soup was light, slightly seasoned with a hint of sour and savoriness. We also ordered the jap chae glass noodle stir-fry which was delicious, but it was lacking in beef and a bit too oily. It had a few slices of red bell pepper, yellow onions, and green onion /scallions. The glass noodles are made from sweet potatoes and are chewy in texture, but not as chewy as the buckwheat noodles. The galbitang short beef rib soup (#26) is a light soup served hot (not spicy) with a few pieces of beef short ribs, glass noodles, white radish, and egg drop. King's Restaurant has reduced their portion of glass noodles in recent years and it's lacking substance to fill the tummy, especially with an increased price of $21.95. They do give a small bowl of white rice and 4-5 types of banchan (side dishes, like Kimchi, blanched bean sprouts, fish cake, kimchi cucumbers, blanched broccoli). Service is on the most part friendly and semi-attentive, depending on the server and if they're busy. King's is recently (2026) charging for their buckwheat Korean tea, which was previous complimentary. Ambiance is casual with booths and tables. They can host larger parties, up to 8 or so people, but it's best to call ahead to check. Free parking is plentiful, but it can get filled on the side lot nearest to the restaurant when it's busy. There's another larger parking lot adjacent to the restaurant that is never completely filled so parking should not be an issue. Would I go again-maybe. Their increased prices and smaller portions (jap chae with almost no beef and noodle dishes with a small portion of glass noodles), it's starting to give me pause, especially when I have other choices of Korean restaurants in the Twin Cities. King's is by far the most expensive Korean restaurant in the Twin Cities and their portion sizes are shrinking to where the value is lacking, especially if you're really hungry.
