    Potstickers and chicken sliders
    Nicky Z.

Busy place usually means the food is great. It is very small place and it seems busy all the time. Tables are small and plates are big. Only two girls worked upfront so they do seating, orders and cleaning. The floor was sticky and greasy I got it they really don't have to clean it since there is always someone to come in. I order basic udon that comes with mushrooms and scallions. It was really basic no taste at all. Chicken sliders were good with the coleslaw and they were huge. Potstickers were also good. And combination fried rice was good. Maybe little to spicy but it was fine.

This is my second time coming to this restaurant and it was pretty good. The last time I got the fried rice and the buns which tasted a lot better than what I got this time. Today I ordered the brisket sliders as well as the combo fried chicken with half spicy and the other half Bbq flavoured. The spicy level was a lot more than I expected so if you are sensitive to spicy foods, do not get the spicy chicken. I sat at the bar because it was so crowded and my service was alright. They were short staffed so I don't blame them. The food prices were a little higher than I was expecting ($35 ish for myself) but the portions were definitely big enough. The restaurant itself was pretty tiny and clean. They seemed to get a lot of food delivery orders because I swear I saw about 10 of the delivery drivers walk in while I was eating. Overall, I would probably come back but order something different!

So many fees! What's the difference between delivery fee, service fee, and tip? Who gets what?

I thought I would try it again as I had never dined in restaurant. It was not a good experience. Food was bad. Service was worse. Table and bathroom were unclean. And it's pricey! It's like a place where they don't care about anything. Got wings, japchae and bibimbap with beef. We didn't even want to take our leftovers. We went up to the bar for water refills and our check. There was no apology or explanation.

Quality Korean wings with some other Korean staples! Wings are always large and skin is cooked to perfection. Fried rice is flavorful and a little sweet. Fries are crispy and go well with the wings. The spicy sauce is definitely a slow heat and probably a 8/10 on spiciness in our opinion, definitely get a small amount to try for your first time. We have done pick up orders a couple times now, service can be slow in busy days but was super fast this past Tuesday night. Northfield location has lots of decorations, TVs, and outdoor seating.

So happy to have found this bonchon in the Denver area. The service was friendly and quick, the food was amazing as expected for the bonchon chain, and the ambiance was a plus - there were k-pop videos playing all night and it added to the mood which made it a great place to drink soju with friends. We ordered the family meal which came with fried rice, French fries, radish, and chicken wings - we got the spicy and the garlic wings. The wings were so crunchy (even the leftovers were still crunchy). The French fries are seasoned and very crunchy as well! The fried rice was old but kind of heavy on the peppers. I'd highly recommend bonchon for a chill night with wings and soju... bonchon never dissapoints!

We were shopping and still had to drive somewhere else so we decided on lunch first. We enjoyed our first Bonchon experience in Aurora so we came in here. The server was pretty and nice. She let us decide on our order. Unfortunately they were out of boneless chicken so we went with chicken tenders. There was wing in our order and I did like it. He doesn't like bone in or I would have ordered that. Half and half. Chose pickled radish as the side. It helped balance the spice level out. Parking is on the street or in the lots across the way.

Wow!!! What a wonderful and delicious meal! The service was also great. We ordered three family meals for our group of 10. It was plenty of food and we had leftovers for all of us. The chicken was perfect!! The fried rice was perfect! The French fries was perfect! The coleslaw was good too. We loved it so much we are looking forward to visiting this place again. There is indoor and outdoor seating, the inside was a little cramped but that shows they are in demand they are.

    Are there vegan options?

Yes. White rice, kimchi, and pickled radish are a few vegan options.... as it's mainly a fried chicken place.

How hot is their hot sauce on the chicken? From 1-10?

    5 it's a slow lingering heat.

Are you still soft open today?

    Absolutely! From.3pm to 9pm

Does anyone know the official opening date?

If everything goes according to plan, we're hoping to start soft opening on the weekend of the 20th.

The experience here is exactly what I want from Korean BBQ: lively, satisfying, and easy to settle into for a while. The cheese corn is an absolute must and easily one of the best sides on the table. The steamed egg was fluffy and comforting, and the meats were the real highlight. The pork belly was rich and well cut, the bulgogi was flavorful, and the short ribs were tender and cooked beautifully. The quality of the meat is good, the portions were big enough for the two of us, but definitely would not be enough if there were more in our party. This isn't an AYCE place like many other Korean BBQ restaurants, so expect to pay per meat selection. The prices are comparable to other non-AYCE restaurants in Aurora though. Total for the two of us: about $200, which included the tip. We dined on a weeknight so there wasn't a wait but I assume there is one on the weekends since the restaurant is fairly small. The service was fast and friendly and they checked on us often. Brush up on your parallel parking since only street parking is available.

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt.
