What the heck was that? I went in today for a massage, just trying out a new place. Are they worried they will run out of oil? I had this young looking girl who started out great with pressue on my back. The problem was when she spent at least 1/2 on my back, if not more, and then everything else went downhill. She had no time to really massage anything else... So here were the problems. 1) She kept my buttocks completely covered, which meant she didnt massage it, nor my very lower back, or a few inches of my upper legs, under the buttocks. She missed an entire section. Was she scared to touch it? I have been told many times that the buttocks carries a ton of the pressure because we walk all day long. 2) She massaged my face dry, no oil. It actually hurt at times because she was pulling my skin with her dry hands. 3) She didnt massage my legs very well, if at all.... When she got to the back of my legs, it was like she wasnt even attempting to massage them... She just rubbed her palm back and forth a few times and then stopped. When she got to the front of my legs, she didnt massage at all! She just pushed down a few times through the sheet and that was that. 4) I usually love the part where they get to the hands, it usually feels so good.... I just think she needs to be trained again and not be so scared of a body since she works at a massage place. I wasn't going to say anything to her until she asked "um, what about my tip?", to which I was forced to say, " that was NOT good".... I dont usually write reviews but this was teribble. read more

Recently came here for a couples massage. The lady at the front desk greeted us as soon as we walked in. She was incredibly warm and friendly. She then walked us into the room and had us undress and lay on the table. As she started on me I was rather nervous because I don't enjoy pressure too much and I had never had a massage before. I didn't catch her name but she was amazing. She used just the right amount of pressure. Her hands were so soft and warm. It felt amazing, so relaxing. She did my whole body, from head to toe. She finished with a hot towel, as we left her and her partner that worked on my boyfriend offered us water as we were paying and leaving. We would come back again, it was an overall wonderful and relaxing experience. If you are in need of some relaxation this is the place to come! read more

I debated giving 4 or 5 stars and here is what I decided. They deserve a 5 star rating for their service, quality, and pricing. I called to check if they had time and walked in 10 minutes later. Very convenient as it is hard for me to commit to appointments due to transportation. I went in for reflexology and was given several options for combinations with body massage. I opted for 40 min body/20 min reflexology since I thought that sounded like a good ratio. The best part was that after I was done with the 60 minutes, the masseuse asked me if I needed "more time". I know this translates to more money for them, but I really did need more time and instead of having to come back, I was willing to pay a little more right on the spot. This was a nice touch, because sometimes at the end of a treatment you just want a little more time for a particular area. The room was nice and dark, comfortable tables, and the massage was overall excellent. The oil was not greasy and moisturized my skin well. She could easily tell when I winced where the pain was and quickly adjusted pressure and the method of working that area. The absolute only negative was NOT the spa's fault, which is why I didn't mark them down for it. The business is located in a two-story strip mall center, and they are directly below a workout facility, so part way into my serene massage I started hearing the pounding of feet in the suite above. It was fairly distracting, but I had to really question why a gym would be leased an upstairs space. Even if there was sound proofing it's difficult to minimize the sound of a room full of people jumping and running around. I don't know if the owners of Bon Massage were aware of this at the time they leased, but they must know this is not an ideal situation for THIER clients. If I were the owner, I would go to the management company and demand a resolution as it could seriously affect sales. I wouldn't open a spa next to a business whose business creates noise. Not sure who dropped the ball on that detail but someone wasn't thinking. Aside from that, there is plenty of parking and it is easy to get in and out since its located E of the busy College/Oside Blvd intersection. I will definitely return soon. read more

Start to finish a positive experience. First things first- Very friendly staff- they excitedly greeted me at the door. I was whisked to a nice quiet room immediately. As a woman I am always partial to having a female masseuse but since I was a walk in I didn't make any requests- important note for anyone like me, even with a male masseuse I felt completely respected and taken care of. Massage was the full 90 minutes- you get exactly what you pay for! No long wait once you are changed. Soothing music, perfect room temperature. Right away my masseuse asked if pressure was okay and welcomed me to ask him to adjust at any point through out. Didn't spend the whole time talking, truly let me relax. Price is competitive. I went here years ago and it was much different. This time around it was horrible. My husband and I went together but separate rooms for a 1 hour massage. Yes, they wanted to be paid first. Odd, but I did. Now I know why. I wouldn't have paid otherwise....at least not for my husbands massage. Oh wait, it wasn't a massage... Let's start with the sheet they cover you with.....nope, a towel. If you're not modest, no problem. But if you are this is the wrong place. I had a towel that barely covered.....and I'm a small woman. My husband didn't even get a towel to be covered with. He is less modest than me so that wasn't the part that got him. My massage was odd but doable. At least there was pressure. She did get awfully close to areas she shouldn't be. I was thinking at the time...what is going on with my husband if this is what they do..... I learned. He got up and walked out in under 20 minutes. He kept asking for more pressure....more of a deep tissue massage. What he got in return was a more soft, sensual, erotic massage....or rubbing. She got very close between his legs and kept going towards the butt hole. She wouldn't listen and he realized what she was all about. He read her the riot act and walked out. She is lucky I didn't know about it until we walked out. I would've read her the riot act as well. I would avoid this place....that is unless you're looking for a happy ending. You can schedule your appointment on their website, and you can include things like how much pressure you would like and what areas of the body you would like focused on. The place is clean and air conditioned. The tables are wide, sturdy, and comfortable. I request Lily every time. She has "the touch." I love massages and I love a good deal! After reading all the great reviews I called and made a appointment for myself and my sister. They had a special 60 minute (firm pressure) massage and 20 min reflexology for the price of $69. You really can't beat that. I requested to see Gary, since they were so many amazing reviews. Me and my sister decided to get the massages in the couples suite. Gary did a brief consultation with me, I told him I like firm on my back and med everywhere else. The massage was not relaxing and he didn't even warm up the tissue just went straight into deep. Deep in my arms, and feet I was hoping to at last enjoy my foot massage but it was so rough. When I asked to lighten up in pressure he would for a min or 2 then go back to deep. I have had many deep tissue massages but not like this. When it came to undraping sections of my body I felt my butt was exposed. After when he got a hot towel to wipe the oil off my body he left the room seriously felt like forever I think he went to use the restroom. And he was so loud leaving and entering the room. Why don't they have a hot towel cabbie in the room so they don't have to leave? Not good. I rather spend more $$$ and get a decent massage. read more

They had more than 3 hours to cancel but they chose to wait just SIX mere MINUTES before my appt to cancel so they can go out and have a good time tonight. Unbelievable. NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER. I had somewhat the same experience CT did as much as I tried to like it: 1 1/2 hr and 30 min reflexology $75 deal...The gal was sweet and nice but first could not communicate. I tried to like the massage the whole way through but it ended with me walking out-- which I have NEVER done in a massage,wasted money. The salon next door is only ONE of the problems. The walls are paper thin and it felt like I had a crowd of people in my room the last 30 minutes, laughng talking and being loud (Which they had to know happens and should have put me in another room--no one else was there at 11:30 am) First off, Lisa did ask me about pressure, I said FIRM which she started out ok but tended to get lighter and softer and less as the time went on, despite me asking 3x for firmer....and all on my back for at least the first 60 70minutes---and not differentiating...stame stroke same places. By the time she got to my legs it was a quick couple of pressureless strokes, and barely on my arms. I tried 3 times to ask for more pressure ie "firm" 'harder' but the communication gap had her put a kleenix in my hand once, and then start to use the essential oil I brought (BTW most of the massage was dry-I think she got lotion 4 or 5 times for the 2 hours--even though I brought my own lotion) Again she was sweet but (technically) was inconsistent in her strokes, tentative and not very 'deliberate' or intentionally. It was more of a pressing down than a massage manipulation, deep stroke. So after being disappointed with the' lack of' to my limbs, she started the' reflexology portion". i was hoping this was her strong point. But it was even less satisfying and more like a light rubbing. So disappointing, and then it was during this time that the ruckus next door in the Salon started...I went from a $20 tip preplanned to $10 to $5 to getting out of there so I could spend the $25 on going to my regular Foot massage place --Oceana Massage. 1 hr for $25 for a good deep, thorough foot, leg ( and he sneaks arms in there). I only decided to try this place because I liked the 1 1/2 hour and 30 min. as opposed to one hour foot massage/one hour body massage for practically the same price...except it doesn't take place in one room. O.M. moves you from the front chairs to a back room for massage. SOOOOO disappointed and I feel even worse today that I wasted $75 on my day off and still have a kink in my neck and tightness in leg, arm and back muscles. read more
