I just discovered this place and will be coming back again! Tucked away in a strip mall this is a traditional Beijing foot massage. I got the one hour massage which also included back legs and head a well rounded experience! We showed up a little late for our appointment, but the ladies were really accommodating. Nice place- prices are fair, will definitely return! read more

Great experience. There were 3 of us and they easily accommodated us. All 3 of us enjoyed superior treatment and would definitely.come back again. Great price as well. read more

I'm pregnant and came in for a foot and hand massage and Nancy did wonderful! Would recommend! it is not the fanciest place, but it is clean and they use great pressure and get back to you via text very quickly. It's a nice little neighborhood gem in a strip mall and you will get that blood flowing and the knots out in a pinch. read more

If I could I'd give them no stars!!!! The worst! Lady giving massage She had no idea what she was doing! It was absolutely ridiculous! No music playing you can hear everything. Not relaxing at all! The worst ever! And at the end they expect a tip. Don't bother coming in you will be disappointed. read more

My husband came here after a long work day and asked for a "4 hands massage" - 2 massage therapist. He said the walls were thin and the place was busy. During his massage, he could hear people coming in and out and all their conversations. After the massage he tipped $20 each. That's a 36% tip on an "okay" experience. Instead of being grateful, they made him feel guilty for only giving $20 because it was a "4 hands massage". They pressured him to give more and basically wouldn't let him leave unless he gave at least $30!! $30 a person! A 54% tip when in reality, they are doing less work having another person assist in the massage. I never write bad reviews because I know yelp can be used more when people are upset vs happy and I know that can hurt a business and I always try to help, but really?? How greedy and unprofessional. He paid $60 in tip for a $110 massage. I'm sorry but this is not okay. read more

As an athlete, I get massages often. I came in today to hopefully have them squeeze me in last minute and the staff was so kind and accommodating! They are very reasonably priced and Cindy did a PHENOMENAL job working on me. It was the perfect balance of deeper tissue work and relaxation. I'm absolutely coming back! read more

Foot massage was mediocre. Then I was asked if my tip would be cash or credit. A tip is clearly expected even when service is mediocre.

I am glad I came across this massage place in Oceanside! The place is clean and the therapists are very nice. Aya did my massage and she did a wonderful job. I feel so relaxed and rested after my massage. I will definitely be coming back again! read more

Great Massage Today I'm going to do something that I never do ... I rarely will ever write a review... but today after an hour long massage... all of my aches and pains are gone... I am completely relaxed... I highly recommend going to this massage spa and getting a massage by LiLy!!! Thank you for a wonderful massage lily!!! read more

I have been going there for a while but recently the manager Lisa massage me and it was good. I went back today and she keeps making up excuses and switches me to her partner which I did not request. This last-minute changing has now occurred twice. I requested a total refund and will not be going back anymore. Poor Customer Service! read more

This was my first and last visit. There was no privacy. I could hear the customer in another room having a full on conversation with his misuse. The place smells like bathroom. I paid 1 hour and did not get the full 1 hour. The girl kept going in and out of the room during my massage. She kept having conversations with other girls while she was massaging me. She was unsure in her massage technique as she never kept a rhythm. read more

This is the massage place I have been looking and waiting for. The best massage of my life with the sweetest ladies of all time. I came in and they told me how beautiful I was and then gave me one of the best massages ever for only $45. This is such a steal. Amy was so so sweet as well as intuitive. She got into all the places I needed and it felt divine. It was the perfect mix of deep pressure and light pressure to give a very structurally healing massage experience but also felt so pleasurable. Did I mention how incredibly sweet the whole staff was?! I will definitely be coming back read more

Great massage! Nothing missed! Girl that gave me the massage knew how to give a great soft massage.

I love coming here for a $40 one hour foot and body massage with hot stones. It's very affordable and the woman who I have had the last 2 times does a great job. Highly recommend. read more

Called at around 11 am on a Friday, trying to schedule 2 foot massages for 4 pm she said nothing was available, I asked what about 5 or 6, she said no, not at 7, 8 or 9 pm. When I told her I wanted full body massages $$ she said ok what time? This is terrible, they don't want to provide service for less expensive services, but would rather hold out for possible higher paying services. read more

We walked in for a massage without checking the reviews first-big mistake. First of all we walk in and ask for a massage and the lady at the counter literally didn't even speak enough English to understand what we were saying and had to go get a man-who also hardly spoke enough English-to translate for her. The only thing they said to us was "money first"-no please, no massage first-"money first". But I really wanted a massage so I paid and filled in $10 for the tip since the total was $80 and I hadn't even received the massage yet. The massage was alright, nothing to write home about, however I paid for the 70 minute body and foot one and while they massaged both my body and feet it only lasted 55 minutes. The kicker to all of this is in the way out of the door the woman stops me and tells me that the $10 tip is "not enough"...I literally couldn't believe this happened but I feel better after reading reviews and seeing that this happened to many more people as well. I awkwardly sat there not knowing what to do and was kind of pissed off because I already paid for a 70 minute massage and didn't even receive a full hour, but since I wasn't in the mood to argue with someone who could hardly even understand me I just tipped her another $10 and left knowing that I'll never return and hopefully can persuade someone else from coming here as well. read more

I am not from the area so I have to rely solely on reviews. It seemed between Ocean Spa and Healthy Spa the reviews were the same. But Healthy Spa responds to reviews and I respect that. So I chose to go there. I had nothing but a good experience. They asked me to pay first but let me add tip after, since I base my tip on the experience. I think that is fair... My experience was great... the massage was excellent and I left relaxed and happy. I would definitely recommend this place and would return if I lived here myself. read more

The GOOD - the staff is very friendly, 20 bucks for an hour foot massage is totally worth it at this location, the interior of the place has a very relaxing vibe to it, opened 7 days a week which is a plus. The BAD - The staff barley speaks English so communication can be an issue, I had to wait 40 minutes to get my massage, the girl that massaged me left the room like 5 times during the massage. read more

Healthy Foot Spa - Main lobby - Reflexology Near Me - Oceanside, California

The massage was decent, aside from hands smelling faintly of food, the therapist leaving the room albeit briefly to attend ANYTHING else besides the client (without warning), and beside the music that plays elevator-type music in an unpleasant electronic synthesizer mode. Here's the problem. For a one-hour massage, if all goes well, I will tip $10. Do not look surprised before telling me that you want "More, please." That is rude, and that is why I will never go back to this particular place. read more

This place is creepy. From the moment we walked in it was dark- no one appeared to be working. We waiting 5 min before we walked in the back to find women eating. Once she came up front she demanded money up front. She took us back and while waiting I noticed a bed behind a room decider with red sheets. She woke a man from there to help us. When he got up she handed him are money. We got up took are money back and left. I don't know what hours on here but I got a total creep vibe!! read more

I enjoyed the 60 minute foot massage for $20. I tipped $10. The gentleman did an excellent job. The atmosphere is very calming with gentle music and the sound of water from an indoor fountain. The place smells lovely, like lavendar and other essential oils. So relaxing, I fell asleep for a bit. And my sore, swollen feet are SO happy and healthy now. Highly recommend. BTW, the owners are Chinese and don't speak much English but everyone made themselves understood. They people there were very gracious and polite. Overall great visit. I have already recommended to friends. Another review said the place was "creepy" and smelled like food. That was NOT my experience at all. There was NO upselling. I got exactly what was advertised. read more

I just received a foot massage and it was much more than that! It was a whole hour and included not only my feet, but head, back and legs. I had Jenny she was amazing. I highly recommend Healthy Foot Spa! read more

I came here as a walk in and got the $20 foot massage with Andy. The atmosphere is relaxing but kind of awkward only because I'm used to the set up that soothing ocean in Northridge has. The staff are friendly, respectful, and polite. Mandarin is definitely everyone's first language. But no biggie for me, since I'm used to this kind of thing. Being asian and all, I've grown up with a large amount of elders whom English was not their first language. Like my grandparents. Onto the massage review. Andy was great. He was gentle around the ankle and calf areas and firm on the bottoms of my feet, which was great. Exactly what everyone should be doing since the ankle and calf for most people are one of the most sensitive areas when it comes to massage. Andy really seemed to know exactly where I was most in pain. He seemed to focus on the areas that are sore from MMA work outs. Like, hammys, glutes, shoulders, arms, neck, and lower back. My shoulders are extremely knotted and sore and at the end he gave me a quick shoulder massage but I was out of time. :( I know he felt the gigantic knots in my shoulders because he seemed surprised. He told me to come back and he would focus on those knots for me. That last minute of shoulder massage he did. Omg. Let me tell you, it was painful in a good way. Like it hurt because the knots are big but felt good. He brought me water, and I left feeling fully restored and refreshed. I highly recommend you ask for Andy if you decide to give this place a try. Don't be shy to tell him to use more pressure or go lighter. I couldn't be more happier with my experience here and it's all thanks to him. Really. Needless to say, I will definitely being going back in for another massage. But this time with an appointment with Andy!! read more

worst place I have even been to in its class the lady didnt speak but maybe 3 words of english however seems to understand what I needed. She then basically jump up on my back and hurt my tendons worse than they were before I walked in. Civil Action Pending. read more

If I could've rated a "no star" this place deserves it!! This place is an absolute joke!!! I basically had to twist the girls arm to give me a massage in the first place. Once escorted to the room, there was an odd smell and it appeared to be somebody's bedroom. I could have gotten a better massage from having somebody's cat walk back and forth on my torso. This sub par two handed massage then turned into a one handed massage that felt more or less like I was just being poked rather than massaged. Then said poke and prod session would stop all together. I could tell the masseuse (and I use the term loosely) was texting. This happened 4-5 times and I had enough. I sat up and asked "what was so important?" In broken English she said "oh I hurt you?" I said "NO I PAID YOU FOR A MASSAGE AND YOU HAVE BEEN TEXTING THE WHOLE TIME!!!" The masseuse tried to lie to me and show me her phone and say that she was "checking the time" . I then proceeded to tell her that her damn phone was on my back and I could feel every keystroke. Lmao!!! I told her that I wanted my money back and also educated her on leaving her phone outside the massage room or how to be discrete if a text is that important. Got my money back and saw the "rate us on yelp" sign next to the door, and here we are. Never ever under any circumstances go to this place. Absolute waste of time! Cheers read more

Lisa is amazing. Always busy call to make an appointment with her. I have been here many times and I tip $5 for 30 min $10 for an hour and $15 for 90 min. If they are amazing I tip $5 more read more

Really...The massage at this place was AWFUL !!! I barely got a massage. Mostly just pulling at my arms & legs. Stay away from this place, NOT a place for a woman to get a spa like massage. Maybe more for men ??? read more

I had a body massage and foot massage here so far and both were amazing! For someone who stands on her feet all day for 12 hours straight, I prefer the foot massage over the body massage since the body massage did not include any feet rubbing. The foot massage on the other hand, focused on both body and feet. The price is unbeatable especially since the massage I received here was better than a few high end massage parlors I've been to. I ended up tipping them 50% ($10) for the foot massage since the masseur worked so hard and diligently on my sore feet and body over an hour for just $20. If you're getting a foot massage, be ready to share room with other clients. You'll probably be too relaxed to notice anyone else in the room except when the massage is over for the other people and they have to get up. Also, if you choose do the foot massage, I recommend wearing loose fitting pants since you would need to roll them up in order to soak your feet. The foot massage also include an oil rub on your back so prepare to take off your top for 5 min. Ladies, you'll be faced down for that part so no need to be shy. If you prefer privacy or prefer massage without your clothes on, body massage would be ideal since you get your own room. I must warn you though that like most Asian massage parlors, English is a limitation for the workers here. However, I'm sure they'll understand you if you want harder or softer pressure, or if you want to focus on a certain part. And like most Asian massage parlor, they have drapes on the windows to limit the sunlight into the room to maintain a peaceful ambience. I don't understand how that one yelp reviewer based her negative review solely on the outside appearance of the establishment without even trying the massage. It's quite unfair for the employees there since they're working hard to make a living. Also, the couple of guys she mentioned were probably customers from the nearby cigar shop. This place is clean, legit, and no shady business like happy ending. On top of that, they close at 11 pm, so I can still get a massage after a 12 hour shift! [ E D I T 7.24.15] _________________________________________________________________ Came here at least 8-10 times since my last review in 4/25/14. Had to lower a star. The staff doesn't seem to understand the importance of quietness when it comes to the relaxation of their clients. They chatter among each other in Chinese whether there are people getting massages or not. I recommend ear plugs. The only person who seems to be any good at massaging here is the owner. However, he would leave me numerous times during a massage to greet other customers if the place is understaff. Their body massage is terrible. The girl who massaged me was incredibly weak and would continue to exert the minimum strength even after i requested "harder" several times. And no, they do not stay open until 11. I had a massage completed at 10:20 and they were already locking up the place. I don't blame them though. read more

My experience was not the best. I gave my tip at the beginning and when I came out, was given my debit receipt to give more. I did give more and then two of the women going back in forth with each other to give more. Very BAD business. You can hear each of them talking to each other and the place had an odor. This place is by far the worst place i've been to for a massage. Before leaving the ladies hounded me about leaving more than a 10 dollar tip. They repetitively asked me to leave more money and would not even let me walk out the door. I should be able to tip how ever much i want, it shouldn't even be expected. i was so unhappy with the service. These ladies are rude and made me feel so uncomfortable in this environment that is meant to be peaceful and relaxing. It is clear to me that this place does not care about their customers considering this seems to be a reoccurring problem. i will never be going back, SAVE YOUR MONEY read more

Made my husband an appointment this evening since he's very sore from physical training with the Marine Corp and he was completely unsatisfied with the "work" they did. He went in super confident about this place until he laid down and the lady put no effort in healing my husband. Unfortunately, he stepped out with the same pain he went in with. On the way out the lady stood by the door and forced him to give her a tip and told him they live off their tip money. Since he isn't a douche and such a nice guy he tipped $20 because he was obligated to do so. He will not be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If y'all want to make your money's worth then don't come here. read more

Came here before to get the $20 foot massage and for the price they did an okay job! Today I came in for a deep tissue massage ($40) since I'm having lower back pain, 1: the guy "massaging" me was literally only squeezing my skin together. 2: he ripped me off my minutes every time he walked out the room. 3: 60 minutes? Yeah right! I had my stopwatch on, he did my massage in 54 minutes including every time he walked out. 4: As I'm leaving I was only going to tip $5 since I didn't think he deserved a decent tip, but there's a sign that the minimum tip is $10. That's some B.S. Lesson learned, when my massage therapist is out of town, just wait! read more
