Cheddar Bo and Quackers
Lynne P.

I had to drop some tables off at the MWR dept and before heading to work stopped at a non Chesapeake Bojangles for a bite to eat. To be honest, even if I wasn't hungry, I would've still stopped because, well, the powers that be of Bojangles feels every city in Hampton Roads should have at least 2 but the 'peake, luckily for me, I was famished. I was torn between my 2 favs- Cajun, egg and cheese or a Cheddar Bo. I decided to go with a Cheddar Bo, Bo rounds and a Pepsi mainly because I wanted to fill up on potato vs biscuit. I made the right decision because that Cheddar Bo was oooooey goooooey, hot and tasty, but not filling, I saved that part of my belly for Bo rounds. The folks were friendly and fast and the parking lot quiet and clean. I hear there is a FINALLY a Bo coming to the 'peake, but so far away from me the Elizabeth City location would still be shorter and less traffic. Bojangles, don't let me know. I am living 'Dum Spiro Spero' - while I breathe, I hope - that this isn't the only location. Stop being greedy with the Bo and come to Southern Chesapeake. We ARE WORTHY!

In traveling I see BoJangles signs all the time, but I've never pulled off the road and stopped in to see what they're all about. Well now that I've been introduced to the "Bo'Rounds" SWEET BABY POTATOE NUGGETS!!!!! OHHHHHH OOOHHHH WEE , Those jokers are conversation starters!!!! I just can't understand why no one has ever mentioned these onion filled beautiful bud bites!!!! They were so delicious I piled them on my chicken sandwich, unhinged my jaw and smashed Mr. BoJangles masterpiece!!!!! If this is an option the next time we're on the road, I know where I'm going! We don't have one in IL , but that may be a good thing , cuz thise taters are Tantalizing!!!!

It took a road trip to finally get to a Bojangles. They don't exist in California. I thought I was missing out. I finally saw my first Bojangles in Virginia and decided that we needed to try their chicken. We got a box of their 8 pieces of chicken and 4 biscuits and took it back to our hotel to eat. I thought the fried chicken was kind of bland. My wife thought the chicken tasted like Jollibee. Needless to say, we were not impressed by the chicken. The biscuit was better than the chicken. I wasn't really missing out. No need to make a special trip here.

Hey bojangles so idk who is over the bojangles here but we had really bad customer service! First when we got there to order we asked the manager Joe if all the chicken was hot and he said yes so we got all our food we sat down and our food was very lukewarm and we got a 20pc family meal. Second we went up there after we found out our food wasn't hot and we asked for the manager. When the manager came we explained to him everything that happened and manager Mike told us that he trusts everything the other manager puts out even tho we kept telling him he didn't give us what we asked for. Then he proceeded to say well there's nothing he can do and he trusts the other managers word when he said that the chicken was hot even tho the chicken wasn't. We even told him to touch or try a piece because it wasn't hot at all. I have video evidence as well of how rude he treated us while we were there! We also asked for someone over him and the other manager and he told us he didn't have a general manager and he couldn't give out any information! So I decided to message yall personally and we are going to call as well!

When I first moved to Virginia, Bojangles was one of the first places I visited. I ordered the chicken sandwich meal and it didn't disappoint. The fries were crispy and everything was nice and fresh. The service was great, everyone was friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean and bathrooms were as well. I would recommend this location to anyone who loves their food

Quality southern food with a Cajun spin! The front line was on point and greets you with a warm smile and genuine welcome. Quick, fresh and delicious...what more could you want in a fast food joint? The older lady helping to keep the dining room clean was an absolute delight

It's pure coleslaw, just like I like it, without sauce or mayonnaise. They have an extensive list of milkshake flavors, which I'm told are amazing. A few are seasonal. My continuous dieting has kept me from trying them. But when December arrives I may splurge calories on an Egg Nog Shake. Anytime I'm in the area, or close to the area I'll stop and buy enough for two meals. Each sandwich is wrapped in a thick heavy aluminum foil type wrap, which keeps the bun soft in the refrigerator. The coleslaw is best for me on the side. But there's never enough for the second day. Yesterday I ordered two side orders of coleslaw. They were the same small size of the "slaw on the side" ones. I know they must have larger containers. Next time I'm going to be more descriptive in my order. The personnel are friendly and helpful. Every time I've been, regardless of time, the same woman has been at the register. The location is just off Military Highway. The storefront appears to be on that major thoroughfare. But the parking lot is entered and faces Valley Drive. If approaching from the south there is no curb cut. One had to make a U turn to reach Valley Drive. If headed north from the restaurant I continue on Valley Drive and take a right on Raby Road which takes you to a traffic signal on Military Highway. The storefront is attractive and captures one's attention. The inside is spacious with fast food type booths that are larger than most. The walls are decorated with hangings such as one featuring the Old Dominion Monarchs. There were once rumors of a store being built in the Haygood area. So far that hasn't happened. Please come a little bit closer to me Cook Out. We are waiting impatiently for you.

So, with just a slight detour we decided to stop by our favorite Cook Out for Barbecue sandwiches and coleslaw to take home. We sliced up some cantaloupe to go with the barbecue and slaw. Perfect dinner. As usual the service was fast and efficient.

This Taco Bell is in an out parcel of Lake Shores Plaza, where I stopped for a grocery store visit…read more Seeing the Taco Bell at a time so near dinner made me have a strong urge for Tacos. I'm a Taco purist, preferring the regular Crunchy Hard Beef Tacos. Please no sour cream & other additives on my Tacos. Also don't give me that type of Taco with a soggy bottom that falls apart. Therefore Taco Bell's Tacos are the perfect choice for me. Service was good at the drive through window. My question about a multipack that they offered in the past was answered. I would have to order the Tacos individually. It did seem odd that my total came out to be an even $13. My Tacos were ready quickly and I drove away completely satisfied, It was only after I got home that I saw the reason for the $13 charge. The receipt has a line item that read "Donate Round Up" in the amount of 97 cents. Never once was I asked if I wanted to make a donation. What was the donation for? Even though it was only 97 cents, I feel cheated. My previous plan was to give this location a 4 Star review because of location and the fact that they offer Tacos that remain crunchy and don't fall apart. That all changed when I saw the "Donation Roundup" that I didn't approve. What's up Taco Bell? An explanation would certainly be appreciated.

What in the world is wrong with this place? I've been here a few times, but this was the worst…read more 1st, why is it that I have to repeat my order in drive thru 4 TIMES??? Fix your doggon headsets!!! 2nd, 1 was the first car in line. Why did it take 6 minutes for 2 4for4s, a small chili and a taco salad? If you had to make more fries or something, at least you can say something. The girl collected my money, then about 4 minutes later, some other lady (I assume the manager) tried to collect again When I told her I already paid, she closed the window and stormed off. My food finally comes and I'm good (so I thought). The 4 for 4 meals were good, and the chili was was on point. But when my wife went to eat the taco salad, she found A USED GLOVE under the bed of lettuce!!! What in the entire hell is going on??? I'm sure we have at some point find a hair, and in a lesser extent, a bug in the salad. But how does AN ENTIRE GLOVE get missed, and you just gonna throw lettuce up there all willy nilly. Nasty asses! So my wife calls the store. Some "rude as hell" girl gets on the phone (I'll leave her name out) doesn't want to get the manager at first. Then the manager gets on, but refuses to give her name until she says "there's a damn glove in my salad". We get up to the store owner who offers a gift card and wants us to come back, even saying he'll make sure he's there to meet us. Sorry E.L., great chance we will not come back here until you replace this sorry ass staff. This is THE WORST STAFF I've ever experienced at a Wendy's. Guys, go to the store on Military or Newtown. You will likely have a better experience and no foreign objects in your food! UPDATE: The owner did make good on the promise of a gift card for the inconvenience. I'll give a star back for his kindness and professionalism. But until I hear that his staff has been replaced with people who actually care to work there, I'll stay away.

The most nastiest restaurant I've encountered in years!! I would never stop at this location…read moreagain!! Traveling from NY to VA for a cruise ,we decided to stop here for a quick bite. Went through the drive-thru so that we could continue our drive while eating. The first employee was friendly but when I asked if I could order nuggets yet, another employee took over on the speaker & said "No! We serve those at 10:30!" Then the first employee said "Sorry,no" So rude & unprofessional of that second employee!! The time I placed my order was 10:25am...UNBELIEVABLE! When I got to the window to pay, I was greeted by a young male employee who Im assuming was the first employee on the speaker. I was asked to move up to wait for our sandwiches. My teenage son ran inside to use the bathroom, less than 15 seconds he ran back out! He said there was poop all over the bathroom floor!! UNBELIEVABLE!! When we looked at our sandwiches, they basically gave us what they wanted because it was not the breakfast sandwich we ordered plus they poured so much maple butter onto the sandwich that we didn't even eat it! I would never stop at this location again! 1 star due to the one friendly employee, who apologized for the wait!
