The most nastiest restaurant I've encountered in years!! I would never stop at this location again!! Traveling from NY to VA for a cruise ,we decided to stop here for a quick bite. Went through the drive-thru so that we could continue our drive while eating. The first employee was friendly but when I asked if I could order nuggets yet, another employee took over on the speaker & said "No! We serve those at 10:30!" Then the first employee said "Sorry,no" So rude & unprofessional of that second employee!! The time I placed my order was 10:25am...UNBELIEVABLE! When I got to the window to pay, I was greeted by a young male employee who Im assuming was the first employee on the speaker. I was asked to move up to wait for our sandwiches. My teenage son ran inside to use the bathroom,less than 15 seconds he ran back out! He said there was poop all over the bathroom floor!! UNBELIEVABLE!! When we looked at our sandwiches, they basically gave us what they wanted because it was not the breakfast sandwich we ordered plus they poured so much maple butter onto the sandwich that we didn't even eat it! Just came through the drive through and asked for a grilled chicken wrap with a loaded bake potato. I was told they don't have that. So I asked if they don't have any potatoes and the worker begin to get smart over the speaker stating "that's not what she said she said we don't have a loaded baked potato" intervening and getting smart, was too much for me. This location earned my business back tonight. Not perfect, but a vast improvement over a half dozen poor visits over the past year. Service was on point, food was close to on point with retuned fries. My son wanted HOT! The other were not cold, but understood as I am that way too. The dining room was clean and the employee who checked us out even came by to check on us. I hope this visit will be representative of future ones. What in the world is wrong with this place? I've been here a few times, but this was the worst. 1st, why is it that I have to repeat my order in drive thru 4 TIMES??? Fix your doggon headsets!!! 2nd, 1 was the first car in line. Why did it take 6 minutes for 2 4for4s, a small chili and a taco salad? If you had to make more fries or something, at least you can say something. The girl collected my money, then about 4 minutes later, some other lady (I assume the manager) tried to collect again When I told her I already paid, she closed the window and stormed off. My food finally comes and I'm good (so I thought). The 4 for 4 meals were good, and the chili was was on point. But when my wife went to eat the taco salad, she found A USED GLOVE under the bed of lettuce!!! What in the entire hell is going on??? I'm sure we have at some point find a hair, and in a lesser extent, a bug in the salad. But how does AN ENTIRE GLOVE get missed, and you just gonna throw lettuce up there all willy nilly. Nasty asses! So my wife calls the store. Some "rude as hell" girl gets on the phone (I'll leave her name out) doesn't want to get the manager at first. Then the manager gets on, but refuses to give her name until she says "there's a damn glove in my salad". We get up to the store owner who offers a gift card and wants us to come back, even saying he'll make sure he's there to meet us. Sorry E.L., great chance we will not come back here until you replace this sorry ass staff. This is THE WORST STAFF I've ever experienced at a Wendy's. Guys, go to the store on Military or Newtown. You will likely have a better experience and no foreign objects in your food! UPDATE: The owner did make good on the promise of a gift card for the inconvenience. No honest employees here. Our 16 year old son was driving home, it was late Saturday night and we drove up to the drive thru to order 2 frostys and 2 fries = $7. I was busy on the phone and gave him a $20 bill. When the change came back it was $2. I instructed him to tell the window server that we were owed another $10. She said "oh you are right, it fell coming out of the cash register". And handed him a folded bill. I was on the phone and should of paid attention. I didn't. Maaaaaaan decided to try out this place today. Was not good. Walked in the door and the place smelled like a dirty bar. Floor was so sticky it damn near pulled the bottom off my shoes. While waiting for my food there were 6 people that came back inside from the drive through missing items from there order. To top it off all the folks working behind the counter handling food did not have a hat on or hair net. This location needs to be QA bad. I utilized the drive-thru since there wasn't a line. For some reason Yelp was showing they are closed today- go figure! Anyway, my fries were hot and I ate them right away because Wendy's fries are good cold. The chicken nuggets, well, we know the chicken is minimal, but they were hot and well-seasoned. My fruit punch was huge...I couldn't finish it or the medium fries. No complaints- I know to stick with the small combo. read more

I love Wendy's. I think their menu is good and I like the fresh story behind their hamburgers of fresh never frozen. With that said, from here on out whenever I take my family of 6 into one I will ask that all of our orders be rung up separately and put on separate trays. When you place a size able order and all of the hamburgers are piled on one tray and all (except one) are in the same wrapper, it makes for a passing a round of the sandwiches, opening them up and tying to guess who gets what. The counter person knew I didn't like having to guess after she couldn't tell me whose were whose and after 5 minutes came out to our table asking if we figured it out. At that point I left my manhandled sandwich on the table and left. My kids didn't seem to mind and ate theirs with out a problem. My wife was upset with me for getting upset and left before I did. Those huge looking specialty sandwiches look great in the photo but in reality they are about one inch thick when you get them so it not so easy telling one for the other. read more

No tp or paper towels in the ladies room and it was a mess! No ketchup. No toys for kids meals. I asked for lemonade, and the pregnant cashier who held her stomach the entire time, told me she rang me up for a soda and the lemonade was an upcharge. No friendly service here. This place was dirty beyond belief. Tables not wiped off, trash and dirt on the floor. We were 1 of 2 families dining in. Plenty of time for workers to clean up, but they made no effort. first let me say that I love Wendy's! it is probably one of my favorite fast food chains but the Wendy's on North Hampton Blvd is horrible. It is right next to my work which is why I go there but every time there is an issue. Whether the food isn't made right, or it's old, every time I order a salad the lettuce is brown, they have "forgotten" items I ordered and paid for and their attitudes suck. Came through the drive-thru tonight. Waited 5 minutes for someone to take our order, we said something 5 times because she wasn't replying. then repeated the order and said, "is that all?" and we said no we have a few things and we didn't mention a kids meal. after mentioning the queso burger multiple times she's like, "oh we dont got that sorry" ok. she asks us to hold on for a second. 5 minutes later she comes back. so we finish our order, she left 3 things out of it so we had to correct it again. drinks were not full. my nuggets were cold. there were 8 instead of 10. the rest of the order was fine. fries were hot, so that was good. when we got to the window, she asked the car behind us to hold on. during the whole 10 minutes we were at the window, she did not talk to the drive-thru once. she basically shoved our bag at us. did not say thank you or make eye contact or have a nice night. my dad went through a few hours later and had a similar experience as well.
