Great first experience at bojangles. The spicy chicken BLT sandwich is delicious. I chose the potato rounds instead of fries. I tasted the sweet potato pie and it was delicious. I had a pretty disappointing experience at this location. The bathroom smelled extremely bad--honestly worse than an outhouse--which says a lot about the condition it was in. The overall atmosphere felt off. The staff didn't seem engaged or happy, and there was a noticeable lack of energy. The one bright spot was the woman who took my order--she was polite and professional--but unfortunately, that wasn't the case with the rest of the team. There were also some unprofessional moments, like an employee walking around with sagging pants low enough to expose their butt and boxers, which didn't leave a great impression. Service was very slow and inattentive. It took about four minutes just to have my order taken, then another 17 min to get it even though no one was ahead of me. Another customer who had already ordered was left waiting around 15 minutes for his food. not sure how long prior he was waiting. It seemed like staff were more focused on cleaning than actually assisting customers. The manager didn't appear to be actively leading the team or maintaining a sense of urgency, which likely contributed to the overall experience to why the crew was the way they were. I'd rate this location a 2/10. I've been to many Bojangles locations, and this one unfortunately stands out for all the wrong reasons. The beautiful cashier at Bojangles off of Cobb Parkway gave me a student discount on my breakfast combo. If you're a student you should stop by Bojangles because they offer a discount which I didn't know. Also the food is just absolutely amazing as far as biscuits go and fast food! read more

Right after a good hike at Kennesaw Mountain,, one would definitely work up an appetite for some darn good chicken. Also, being that the two I'm with has never had Bojangles,, it's time for these guys to definitely show them what all the fuss is about. So we order 12 pieces of chicken with two sides,,, Juicy, tender dark meat is where its at my friend. Yes there are other chicken chain restaurants around, and they are all definitely not created equal. I love their chicken here,, it's got great flavor and it very very juicy. Did I mention they were tender too??? I think I did. Any how,,, the family meal that we purchased came with a gallon of sweet tea. So yea,,, that's a perfect beverage to help push it all down. Not that it needed it to be pushed down, but the chicken here is definitely very good. The service was really good. It wasn't very busy, so we got the whole up front and direct kind of service. It was just past lunchtime on Tuesday, April 18, and I went into Bojangles for some sandwiches. The female employee who greeted me told me another employee would get my food because he was "working on it." I waited for 18 minutes and this other employee never glanced my way or put together any orders. This female employee only made 2 drinks and 2 biscuits while I was there and never attempted to get my order either. I finally asked her for my food. The issue I had wasn't with the food taking a while. It was that I was completely ignored by all the employees and when I asked for my food, the female employee cut me off and talked over me and told me goodbye. If the employees are this rude and lackadaisical, I'll never return. read more

I just sat for 25 minutes at the window waiting for my biscuit and fries. After 25 minutes I get the biscuit with no fries, I ask the guy at the window for the fries, but he says I didn't pay for them after I had literally just paid him $10. He proceeds to say he will give me fries if I show the receipt, but he never gave me a receipt in the first place??? He then told me to leave and shut the window in my face. I pulled up to the drive thru. The 2 cars ahead of me were able to place their orders. I was told to hold on 2 times. After a 20 minute wait I was told they couldn't take my order at drive thru, that I would have to come inside, because they were too busy inside. I drove around and there was only 3 cars in the parking lot and 1 person in line. They wasn't very busy at all. I left. I can't say I was impressed by much with my visit to Bojangles. Should've paid more attention to the tips regarding customer service... I drive by this location on cobb parkway all the time on my way home from work. I was sleep deprived and needed food. So I was like what the hell why not stop by and give their biscuits a try. When I pulled up to the order screen, the guy over the speaker Sang... welcome to Bojangles... Now this certainly threw me off and I was like okay this is going to be an interesting experience. So I ended up ordering a plain biscuit and a cheddar bo biscuit. The guy over the speaker is like they have to bake it fresh??? so it'll be a few minutes. So I'm thinking they have to bake some cheddar biscuits... No that's not the case at all... they clearly threw it in the oven to melt a glob of cheese on it... When I think of a cheddar biscuit... I think of cheese being mixed into the dough... Not a glob of it melted in the middle of the biscuit... but hey it's their rodeo and that's how they do things. I know I pulled the majority of the cheese off while eating it though. Anyway back to my drive thru experience... After paying the cashier at the first window that actually spoke and greeted me. At the second window I'm still not sure if that arm that thrust my bag out the window at me was attached to a human... I mean they didn't greet me, read back the order, ask if I wanted jelly... Do they have condiments at Bojangles... Hmm I'll never know. If customer service had been better at that second window... I would've been like well maybe I'll give them another try... the biscuits were okay tasting... strangely a tad bit too salty, but that's personal preference... But yeah that was just bad customer service. A customer should be greeted, and the order should be read back to them just to make sure it correct. And because none of this happened, I pulled down from the window, still wondering where did the magical arm come from that gave me my food... and checked the bag. Luckily my two biscuits were right. I ate when I got home, and the biscuits were okay... I can make better biscuits in my sleep. Like seriously biscuits are one of my favorite things to make... but a sleep deprived person is unfortunately too tired to make their own. So...I've just discover Bojangles, and my co-worker from Charlotte swears up and down that they're better than Popeye's. I disagree, but I still enjoyed my trips to Bo's. Greeted by a kid named Khalil, who was kind enough to explain everything about their menu, and got me hip to the fact that this place serves breakfast all day...I dig it! Their chicken is only offered in "Cajun Mild"...still pretty damn good, though. They've got roasted chicken bites that are awesome, and the only "spicy" option they have, is the chicken supremes...aka spicy chicken tenders. Haven't tried the sides, but they looked great, and the breakfast options I tried (pork chop biscuit, smoked sausage biscuit, chicken biscuit) all hit the mark for me...though they were a little more expensive than my usual Chick-Fil-A breakfast. Completely on board with driving out of my way to get to Bo's. Good service, good food that's freshly prepared, and a breakfast menu that seems like a godsend at 8pm? Definitely worth 4 stars in my book. read more

I finally tried their dinner here. The chicken is seasoned well and is not overly greasy. The pieces are a nice size. No disappointments there! They do have a lil' spice to them, just to let you know. The biscuits are HUGE. Remember when Church's had the best biscuits? I do... that honey was baked right on into them, but they lost me on their biscuits when they basically cut the size down to half of what it used to be. Bojangle's biscuits are HUGE. They don't have honey baked into 'em, but they're still good. The macaroni n' cheese- OK. Nothing special, just ok. The pinto beans are awesome; I'm sure the sodium is no joke though. I may have to end a multi-year disagreement in a draw. A friend and I have debated the merits of Chik-fil-a chicken biscuits versus those of Bojangles. I never had the opportunity to hit a Bojangles in the morning, so the debate raged on unresolved. A Good place to go to grab a chicken biscuit on Sundays. We dined in on a Sunday, less that 5 customers were eating there. Long story short, The service was horrible, but the food was great. We order two chicken biscuit combos, one with coffee, one with side drink, and I ordered later. Anyways, I don't know what happened, the cashier was either staring at me or totally zoned out. She was gazing me the entire time. It took her 10 minutes to put in our orders and they were out of coffee. Anyways, it took us a bit of effort to get our things right. Been a loyal customer at this location for several years. I have watched this place improve so much over the years, and now consider this to be as good a Bojangles location I have ever been to. We all know the quality of food here is excellent. Not much more needs to be said. When I dine in, service is assembly line and fast. No time wasted waiting. Pay for my food, move down the line, food is quickly ready. It's very organized. When I come through the drive thru, it's amazing how fast they move. Bojangles at the Cobb Parkway location has been a favorite of mine for a long time. It was by far the best location for quality of food and service. Notice I said, WAS. I was so disappointed in my last couple of visits to this place. Their chicken was so dry and their fries were so hard you could use them for a tool. They tasted like they reheated some old potatoes from last weeks menu. It used to be the best biscuit in town but that is not the case anymore and their tea was so weak you could barely tell it was even tea. I tossed the entire lunch in the waste can outside after they gave me "new fries" and they were just as bad. I gave them two chances in hopes that my first bad food experience was just a fluke but no such luck. This visit today was my last visit to that location. I just can't understand how management could be so slack not to notice a highly rated restaurant going down the tubes! I gave them one star because you can't go lower. Wake up Franchise owners! You're going to lose your business by not paying attention. read more

I hate to give this place but I have to. The chicken was ok. Not all it was cracked up to be. The biscuits are humongous. I wanted to save it for breakfast the next day. The reason I'm giving it a 2 is because when we placed our order we were asked to pull our car forward because the fries were not ready yet. I didn't mine because I love hot, fresh fries. Well we didn't notice until we got home that these fries were not hot and fresh. I know a reheated microwaved French fry when I see one. And that's exactly what was in my box. If they were not so far away I would've drove back and spoke with the manager but I didn't have time. Somewhere in the near future I'll eat here again and update my review. Of the major fried chicken chains - Bojangles', Church's, KFC, and Popeyes - Bojangles is the best of the bunch. Their chicken is nicely spicy, not too hot, and the breading is usually nice and crispy. As with any of these chains and/or individual locations, consistency can at times vary. KFC makes you pick more flavor or crispy skin, Church's in my experience has usually been extra greasy (although their spicy is flavorful), and Popeyes hasn't been the same for me since they reformulated their breading mix a year or so ago (overly crunchy, in a bad way). As for side items, their fries (which are seasoned, unless you ask them to make some plain) are quite good, especially when fresh. Their cole slaw has a nice balance of sweetness with just enough vinegar to balance it out, as well as provides a wonderful crisp and cool aspect when eating it with the fried chicken. The only chain with perhaps better cole slaw is Long John Silver's, but I am going on a somewhat distant memory since there hasn't been a Long John Silver's in this area in quite a few years. One of their signature sides, Dirty Rice, is also very good. My favorite thing to do is have them put some of their gravy over the Dirty Rice. Is it healthy? Well, of course not! Is it good? We haven't been to this store in a while so decided to try a box of 20 pieces for a party. The chicken was fine but it certainly seems like someone turned up the heat significantly on our order. I was shocked when I bit into it that it would be that hot (spicy)! We have eaten this chicken previously all over the southeast and have never had it that spicy. read more
