As much as I like the food, it's never consistency here. I ordered online and still had to sit for an additional 30 mins. There were only 2 people inside. I cannot state how the online system is but the pickup time is completely inaccurate. Then on top of that. They sat my order aside...I guess in the pickup section. But..I was the only one waiting...at this point. I just think it would be beneficial to update your online system for time management purposes and also announce the names of ALL orders when people are waiting bc obviously you don't remember who is who. Every time I pick up food from this location, something is missing. Today the chocolate marshmallow crisp bar was missing. Last time the mac and cheese was missing, the time before that a bag of chips was missing, and the time before that they gave me the wrong soup. I'm done coming here. I walked in and it seemed like everyone (even the customers) knew I was a newbie from first look; however, they ALL greeted me. The ladies at the register were very nice and patient with helping me choose my meal - they gave me plenty of suggestions and even told me their favorites. I am so excited about Chicken Salad Chick opening near me! My opportunity to give them a try finally came. I ordered our meal online and then picked it up to take to my daughter. The ordering was pretty easy, and pickup was too. I got my favorite - Fancy Nancy (chicken salad with apples, grapes, and walnuts) and a side of fruit. My daughter got the lemon basil chicken salad and a side of the broccoli salad. My husband got the chicken salad BLT. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. It was fresh and very tasty. The little cookie included in the meal was a nice touch. However, I had ordered three of the flower shaped cookies for us which they forgot to include in my order. I did call back later in the evening and was told I could come by and get them at a different time. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but 3 cookies was $6. This place is awesome. Chicken salad is simple but their varieties are all fantastic. The jalapeño holly, Dixie chick, and the pimento cheese chicken salads are top notch. Worst service ever at a CSC. We've gone for years mostly to ones in Carrollton and vinings/smyrna but were in the area and stopped at this one. It's 2:39 when we get to the counter. Employee is kinda short with me. Leave a tip anyway. 5 minutes later they come out to lmk they're out of half the chicken salads in the store and can fulfill our orders. Weird at 2:30 but ok. Change order. Half an hour later still no food. Go to ask the same girl who told me they're out of many salads. She said they were out and couldn't fulfill my order. I said yes you told me half an hour ago and I said to change them all to barbieq. "Oh yeah!" Finally get food. No apology. Won't be back. read more

This place has people running it that have no clue about service or running an operation. I've never seen something so simple made so complicated. Placed an online order at 11:00 am with a pickup time of 11:45 am. When I arrived at 11:45 am I was told to order was not ready. I waited 10 minutes and saw everyone else including those that had ordered since I was waiting got their orders and left. I approached the counter and asked if they had my order in queue. They then acted like I had just arrived and told the kitchen I was there. I waited 5 more minutes and saw my order on the counter and asked for it. The Assistant Manager standing inches from me completely ignored that I was speaking to him and walked away. I then told the other employee I just wanted them to hand me my order that the Asst. Manager was working all around as slow as possible. She just looked at me like I was from Mars. At this point 20 minutes after my arrival for a scheduled order the Asst. Manager handed me my order. I told him they needed to do a lot better than this, and he just walked away and didn't say anything. I've never seen people just act like nothing is going on while a customer is clearly upset with their service. The Asst. Manager needs to be fired, they need to figure out how to fulfill orders at the promised time, and actually care about the service they are providing. Too late for me though, they have lost a customer. read more

The new employee, the shift lead, even the owner answered my questions and took care of my order while taking care of other customers as well. Placed an order online. My husband went to pick it up. Realized 3 items from his order were missing and had to go back in twice to get those. No apology, nothing. When he arrived home, I checked and realized 2 additional items were not included from my part of the order. As well, when I finally did eat my sandwich, they gave me the wrong chicken salad. Whomever is filling their orders - they are failing in a very big way. My husband called them to get a credit for the two items missed and they did do that plus a fee dollars extra for the trouble - this the reason they got 3 stars. The food was good but the servings aren't really very generous. Now maybe if I had had my soup I would feel differently but my husband and I both felt the sides needed to be more generous and the sandwiches needed more chicken salad on them. This was our first time trying them. We may try them again in the future but under different circumstances - for lunch instead of a lunch/dinner combo where we are left hungry. Still love this store. Pros Aside from the one young, blonde cashier - everyone, even the folks back in the kitchen - is SUPER friendly. Food is great Store is clean Cons - Parking lot is tight, congested -horrible - Saturdays are awful. They cannot seem to keep up with the demand. Last visit, I had to wait for over 20 minutes because the cooler was missing 2 items I'd already prepaid for. The customers in the crowd were nice, though - met a lot of friendly folks who were also patiently waiting. - Kitchen staff doesn't wear hair nets - and there's a lot of pony tails, afros and long haired lasses. - Not always consistent. I typically get Fancy Nancy or Fruity Fran. Fuji apples, seedless grapes, in both, but Fancy Nancy has pecans and Fruity Fran has pineapples. The last two times I ordered Fruity Fran and the entire container (Large - I think it's a quart) - had literally two grapes and 1 or 2 small chunks of apple. But the Large Fancy Nancy had lots of grapes and apples. It was very disappointing because I only like chicken salad if it's Waldorf style and this (aside from 2 or 3 bites) was like eating plain chicken salad which, sadly, I'm not a fan of. Nice clean, bright, inviting atmosphere in this Chick Sald Chick. First time visit to this franchise and pleased with the look of the place. Lady at front counter was very friendly and helpful with picking out what I wanted to try. I got the Fancy Nancy Crossant with a Chicken Tortilla soup on the side, and a scoop of Lauryn's lemon basil savory chicken salad. The Crossant was very fresh, plus they added lettuce and tomatoes to top the chicken salad. Personally, I think they missed an opportunity to make the sandwich even better by toasting the Crossant, but it still was very delicious. The chicken Tortilla soup was very tasty too! The Savory Lauryn's Chicken Salad was extremely tasty. The fresh basil really enhanced the flavor. So, the food was great and the service was awesome, so what can I say except you need to try this place out for sure! I ate too much, but at least it was somewhat healthy...lol. My wife talked me into coming to this place today to try something new for lunch, and I'm glad I did. I ordered a turkey club sandwich and she ordered the turkey pesto sandwich. Everything from the presentation to the taste was spot on. The reason why I'm giving this place 4-stars instead of 5 stars is because they forgot the BACON on my sandwich. If you like being yelled at and treated poorly this is the place to go. I ordered online through the app and arrived after the time it was supposed to be ready. Upon arriving I was told they did not have my order. After a little investigation the staff realized they had placed my order in pending status. I was told they would take care of it ASAP. After a 15 minute wait I was told they did not have some of the items I ordered so I requested a refund. After another 15 minute wait, the manager on duty asked me what I was doing. I asked if he was the manager because I was waiting on the manager to issue a refund. He began yelling through the window that he had done it already and I needed to check my email. I stated I wasn't told that so I didn't know. He continued to yell that if I had checked my email I would already know it. I was so upset I left crying. I usually love CSC but I'm not sure I will ever visit another location after this experience. On a somewhat positive note, two of the staff members working the register were very kind and helpful.
