They never answer their phone. And they are slow. Place was overstaffed to the max, which was great for a last minute lunch grab, we phoned our order in and by the time we got there it was waiting on us in a special no wait, walk up. I felt kinda bad for the line of people that snaked back and forth like every TSA experience I've ever had until I heard them taking pre-orders from everyone that was waiting.. great, GREAT!!, first impression!! I stopped by this Jersey Mike's location at 4:30pm on a Friday. After taking the money for my tuna sandwich, I was informed that they do not have tuna, chicken, steak or white bread. Why were they open? How bad does management have to be for this to happen on a Friday of all days? I honestly have nothing positive to say. This was the first time I have visited this location. The first time I was visiting this location I was having a really bad day and they were out of roast beef which is on my favorite sandwich. Herb was the one helping me and he so kind and concerned. He turned my day around. The next time I went in he was working again and he remembered me and asked if things were better. My daughter went in twenty minutes until close to order a classic Italian sub. When she entered the atmosphere and attitude from the employees made it clear they did not want to serve her. She persisted despite that feeling. The red haired man handling the meat was not wearing gloves. The curly haired brunette tried to hand off the bread to the man who had cut the meat. He looked at her and said he didn't know how. She grudgingly made the sandwich without cleaning off the cutting board and counter and without laying down the parchment paper which is customary. Toppings fell onto the board and were just shoved back into the sandwich. After my daughter relayed her experience to me, I parked to go in and speak to the manager. The shift manager, Herbert, claimed to give me the phone number for the owner because he didn't have a phone number for the general manager. The first time we ordered, the order was messed up. We were missing parts of the order, but we didn't complain. Today I decided to try again and placed an order through Grub Hub. My order was supposed to be delivered between 12:35-12:45pm. At 12:45pm I get a notification that my order was cancelled. I get a call from a Grub Hub rep shortly afterward saying Jersey Mike's requested to have my order cancelled because they were "too busy for online orders". UNACCEPTABLE! I can understand being busy because it's lunch time. I am upset because not only were they sending notifications that the order was being made (through the grub hub app), they waited until the VERY LAST MINUTE to let me know my order was being cancelled. They had my number and could've called to let me know that they couldn't deliver, and offer pickup before they cancelled. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. I will NOT be ordering from this establishment again. read more
