Hoagie Bros knows how to make a good sandwich, so much so that I have ventured in twice in the past week since discovering them! Hoagie Bros is a local sandwich shop, with this being it's sole location. It is situated in in the Kroger shopping center on Canton Road and sits right in the middle of the complex in between Mr. Wonton and Anytime Fitness. Given their location in the complex, parking is never an issue! In my two trips, I have made sure to begin my sampling of the menu. My first visit I scooped up a meatball sub and some chips. The bread was super soft, the meatballs were tender, well seasoned and well sauced. The bread held up remarkably well given the amount of sauce on put on it. In addition, they topped it off with some nice parm to bring it all together. It was a good meatball sub...I mean, I could have used an extra meatball or two to balance out the bread/meatball ratio...but that is just me being a meatball hog. My second trip I decided to get another signature sub, the Chicken Cheesesteak. Even though it was a pressed sandwich, the bread was still super soft on the inside and perfectly toasted on the outside. Inside was the grilled chicken, cheese, onions and mushrooms. I got this one sided with fries, again for the sake of sampling the menu! The fries come in salt or Cajun, I am a purest for the most part for fries, so I just got salt. The fries were fried well and were a good amount as a side. The chicken cheesesteak was decent, but I will say it seemed dry. I am not sure how all the ingredients are prepared, but it could use a sauce or a little more oil in the preparation, or maybe additional melted cheese. The menu features hot hoagies, cold hoagies, signature hoagies and a build your own hoagie section, in addition to salads, children's, sides and drinks/desserts. Most of the sandwiches can be either 4" or 8", but the hot hoagies come in the standard 8" size only. And bread is standard Italian only. Prices for a 8" sandwich meal (side and drink) will run you, on average between $11 - $14. Take about $4 from that if you decide to get the 4". The ice cream is served by the scoop and ranges from $3 for a kids scoop to $6 for a double scoop. In addition, they have a hefty toppings list you can add to your scoops, and they even offer soda floats and lava cakes! This is of course in addition to those bomb cookies and brownies they got chilling by the register! I have quickly learned that while they serve us some solid sandwiches, people also return for the owner, Avi, who is an absolute gem and character! He is quick to welcome you in and welcome you back with a smile and his quick wit. He is a good dude slinging good sandwiches and tasty scoops! They also offer a loyalty program with a punch card that you can use to redeem for a free sammy down the road. Overall, Hoagie Bros is a solid spot that I will certainly be visiting frequently and sharing with all my fellow sandwich lovers!

Philly cheesesteak

Best hoagie I've had in a long time. The smells coming out of Hoagie Bros when the chef is cooking the meat of a Philly cheesesteak fresh is mouth watering. Hoagie shops like this are rare nowadays.

The Moroccan sandwiches with house pickled vegetables, crispy Cajun seasoned fries, with Beef and Barley soup. So good!

Was wanting a sandwich but didn't necessarily want the same old thing, so I decided to try Hoagie Bros. I'm so glad I did! Freshly baked rolls surround unique ingredients with toppings that are freshly chopped to order. Several hot and cold sandwiches are available, along with big salads and amazing, homemade soups. The Moroccan is a sandwich unlike any other you're likely to find anywhere close by. There are several other signature sandwiches to try. In addition, there are several flavors of gelato. Try the fig. Amazing! Go try this place. It will make you smile and say, "Love you too..."

The hoagies here are legit and if you live in East Cobb I doubt you can find a better hoagie on any metric. I've looked everywhere but only have had weak ones. In fact, I would recommend driving some distance to get these sandwiches if you want a delicious sub on homemade bread. They are uniquely fresh, flavorful, unique, and a good value. The Moroccan one was particularly yummy. For our family, this place is a classic and immediately added to the weekly rotation. I'm definitely a fan of the bread, with a nice crust and the perfect flexibility for a sub with lots of toppings. It is nice to know that everything is being done right by real chefs and quality ingredients. The 8 inch is plenty for a hungry dude like me, and I would say the 4 inch is good for more normal appetites. Yum!

Yummy Moroccan chicken soup on a rainy day. Normally get a sandwich on their yummy bread (The Original!). But this hit the spot!!

My flat Cheesesteak!
Sheri L.

The last time I ate here, I was shocked by the flat cheesesteak!! The first sandwich was very tasty so I put my bias (that hoagies are not flat.. it's really a panini) aside and decided to try again!!! To my chagrin, this new sandwich was AWFUL! It was very DRY! Thank can't find the onions or cheese!!! And for some odd reason, it's covered in uncooked peppers!! Not to mention, I ordered a second sub and it was not what I ordered. I even asked for it to be hot and it was COLDDDDDD AGAIN!!!!!

Capitola. ORIGINAL with Ham Capicola and Genoa. Best sandwich I have ever had!!

Best sandwich I have ever had, I have eaten a lot of sandwiches!! Also had the mushroom barley soup!! Was darn good and nice and hot on a cold night. This place is worth the drive!

It's set up like the usual assembly-line spots, similar to Chipotle or CAVA, where you pick a base, toppings, and protein or you can skip the decisions and grab one of their prebuilt bowls. I went with the Mediterranean bowl and it delivered. Grilled chicken with shawarma seasoning, spring mix, broccoli, sweet potatoes (I swapped mine for carrots), tomatoes, cucumber, and onion, plus hummus and pita on the side. Flavorful, filling, and didn't leave me feeling weighed down. They've also got fresh juices and bottled drinks, which fits the whole better-for-you vibe. The space is a little dim with a food court feel and pop music playing in the background. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. Prices are about what you'd expect, around $15 for a bowl, but you get a generous portion. I had leftovers, which made it feel more worth it. Overall, a healthier, dependable option when you want something quick but still good quality. Definitely worth checking out. Wear: Crocs Listen to: Fleetwood Mac, Dreams

If you're unfamiliar, like I was, this is a Chipotle-style, make-your salad place. There isn't very much signage as you walk in, but the bar makes everything orderly and easy to see and order. Plenty of good proteins, bases, and veggies to choose from. I walked in as the doors were opening, and I got a welcoming greeting when I reached the counter. The "regular" size is HUGE and was more like 2 servings. I added the baked salmon to my mixed greens bowl, and it was very filling for my lunch over 2 days. That makes the price of the bowl totally worth it. All of it delicious! They had a pan of fresh-baked cookies out, and I had to get one. I thought they'd be crispy but ended up being on the soft side. They are huge though. Still tasty! I'll be back, often.

The bowl options looked fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a quick but satisfying meal. We arrived around 11:45 a.m., just before the lunch rush. I ordered the barbecue chicken bowl with black rice. Overall, my bowl was pretty good. The portions were solid, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was filling without feeling heavy. My coworkers ordered the Greek bowl and what I believe was a teriyaki style bowl. The only strong feedback we had was regarding the seasoning on the Greek bowl. I noticed the seasoning appeared to be sprinkled on top of the chicken after the bowl was assembled. I think if the chicken were tossed in the seasoning beforehand, it would create a more impactful flavor throughout. As it was, my coworker felt the bowl leaned slightly bland because the seasoning did not fully incorporate. What truly stood out to me was the customer service. I believe the owner came in while we were there, and he was incredibly pleasant and hands on. As the lunch crowd grew, it was clear he remembered returning customers and even their usual orders. That level of attentiveness makes a difference. I would definitely return to try more menu options. Next time, I may ask for extra sauce or seasoning to give the bowl a stronger flavor boost. Overall, it is a great lunch spot with solid bowl options in Sandy Springs
