Met up with a friend here the other day, which was my first visit. I got a basic bacon burger with homemade chips. Hubby got one on Texas Toast with caramelized onion and pineapple with crispy onions as a side. Drinks were one soda and one red wine. Total came out over $40, which seems steep considering what we got for it. We had dined a few days earlier at a sit down restaurant with waiter service and had an appetizer, two entrees, two glasses of wine, and dessert for only $10 more than what we paid at Moxie's, so having this days later for comparison was mostly a let down. I asked for my burger to be medium but it was overcooked. Why bother to ask if you are just going to make it however you want anyway? The flavor was decent anyway though. Hubby thought his burger was tasty but too messy for his liking with stuff spilling out all over. My chips were okay but hubby's crispy onions were way better, so obviously I stole most of them from him. I think the crispy onions were actually the best thing we ordered. While I didn't hate it, I also didn't love it either. I wouldn't be opposed to giving them a second chance someday but probably not any time soon. read more

Warm and inviting when you come in, great decor, and their order than sit system ensures that the food comes out pretty fast and efficient. I got the lamp patty moxie burger style. I did add pineapple, please don't judge me. I would say pass on getting a fried green tomato in your burger. They are really thick and do not add to the texture of the burger. The genius idea of allowing you to pick two for sides to split allowed me to try sweet potato fries and zucchini fries. Though I appreciate that the zucchini fries are homemade and fresh, the batter did not coach the zucchini well enough and the zucchini absorb a lot of the oil. Sweet potato fries top-notch. I ordered sparkling water with my lunch, but there was a huge beer and wine list to choose from. I will definitely be back to have a drink with a friend and to try some of their other protein options to enjoy my burger with. Just wanna shout out to the staff. I saw no less than three acts of kindness between staff members and there was at no point when someone was trying to order and couldn't decide that anybody looked like they were in a hurry or put out by helping them choose their meal. read more

We did a shared order of 50:50 fried zucchini and pickles- delish. Burgers were prepared correctly. I suggest sitting at the bar, you don't need to order at the counter and then find your seat. They also have a salmon burger, which is new, so I'll try that next time. My son likes to make his own burger with a mushroom cap as his protein. Like I mentioned before, sit at the bar and you'll get great service. The bar is the secret when it's just one or two guests. On a beautiful day they open the wall and it feels great. Went to dinner with a friend here. You grab a menu as you enter, walk over to the counter and order and then sit with a number and your food is brought over. It's loud and causal inside which was fine by me. I had the bleu ribbon burger and I quite enjoyed it. The burger was small compared to the size of the bun, but the flavor was nice. They have so many different burgers to choose from I had a hard time deciding. For a side I got half zucchini fries and half onion straws. They were both great but I loveddddd the onion straws. I also ordered a beer and it took maybe 15 minutes to be brought over which was annoying. Otherwise, we both enjoyed our food and I would come back. read more

Went to moxie burger today with my boyfriend and son. This place is perfect for families! The prices are super affordable for good quality food. My son had a kid's meal cheese burger and really loved it! It came with fries and a drink, though that's the only combo they have. I ordered an angus burger with American cheese and LTO. Definitely was a good find thanks to Yelp. I left the movie theater and needed a quick, but tasty meal. I saw that this burger joint had 4 out of 5 stars and I'll say they definitely earned it. I gave the grass fed double cheeseburger a try and it was just as I expected, amazing . There's just something great about grass fed beef, it just seems to hold flavoring better than hormone treated meat. Our family loves this place. Easy to discount the negative reviews--they're almost all about delivery being, well , delivery. Why you would ever order a burger and fries delivered is beyond me but I would fully expect it to be less than satisfactory. Another complains about a burger spot in East Cobb being full of middle class families. Clearly never been to East Cobb before. No, it's not Five Points and the Vortex. Burgers and sandwiches are always great. Service is fast and friendly. The occasional error or oversight is always quickly addressed. Zuchini fries are awesome as is the patio. My first time. I had high expectations based on what I was told. I ordered The Heater burger. It was cooked to my liking juicy and with a tasty sauce but not spicy at all even with the jalapeños. I wanted to try a few sides and I love fried pickles, I got those, sweet potato fries and the pimento cheese balls. Fried pickles a major disappointment. Soggy, not enough breading, the dipping sauce too spicy didn't work. Ranch is key guys. Sweet potato fries under cooked not at all crispy. Sweet potato fries usually have a sweet sauce. Dipping sauce very spicy Why? Pimento balls pretty tasteless. So much breading I couldn't taste the pimento and again another spicy dipping sauce. 3 spicy sauces why? Too much it overwhelmed the taste of the sides. I liked they had outdoor seating. Would I go back.....maybe and try another burger. Would I make an effort to go back to that location....probably not. Sorry just didn't blow me away with a non spicy burger, soggy sides and spicy sauces. read more

I love this location! There's tons of parking and the restaurant is spacious, clean and has a great outdoor seating area. Everytime I eat here, I order the homegrown with the black bean patty bc it is so tasty. It comes with roasted red peppers, a pesto mayo, lots of yummy goat cheese and it's HUGE! I really enjoy the 50/50 combo option for the sides (although I wish a side was just included with a burger order). I got the zucchini fries and the sweet potato fries. It seemed more like a 25/75 split. The sweet chili mayo that comes with the sweet potato fries is delish! Order the cheese fritters (I prefer the pimento). You won't be disappointed. Takeout/deliver orders are ALWAYS WRONG EVERY TIME. We have gone to moxie for years and ordering it from doordash or ubereats they hardly ever pay attention to extra sauces, special instructions or anything else. They forget your sides frequently and sometimes your burgers are missing half the ingredients. The order ticket isn't cross-checked with the Doordash order so you just get whatever they show up with. Some of my favorite mess ups (its not that hard to read an order ticket): - Asked for NO sugar/salt on sweet potato fries, they didn't but PUT THAT ON REGULAR FRIES, WHO ON EARTH WOULD WANT THAT EVER?!!? - Forget fries 3-4 times when it's the first line item. - Forget all of the side sauces 90% of the time (or no sauce at all). - The heater almost always is missing the buffalo sauce, onion straws and other ingredients it's supposed to have. Our order is ALWAYS the same as the list item below and it's correct maybe 5% of the time. We won't be going here anymore which is a shame because the food is actually damn good and it's our favorite burger place, again, when it's correct, which is never. We noticed the yellow order ticket was missing some items sometimes, maybe it's a problem with doordash to the in-store order system; but it needs to be cleaned up in the kitchen/prep process. read more

Maybe it's the location? I just don't understand why this place can't make a "Rare" burger the first time without having to send it back. It never fails, I come here at least once a month and I always anticipate having to send the burger back. This visit was no exception. This place has great burgers however a restaurant that makes great burgers understands when a customer orders a burger rare they want it rare, which is grill marks on top and bottom of burger and cool red center throughout. 1 minute on each side without pressing will accomplish this. Hopefully they get this fixed as it is extremely frustrating to have to send food back during each visit because hamburger was not cooked as requested. Brought my nieces here for lunch after a long day. The options were great for all of their different likes and dislikes. Large option for burgers and a small selection of beer and wine. A delicious spot in Marietta! We ordered quickly and easily at the counter before grabbing seats at the bar. There are tons of tables inside and on their dog-friendly patio as well. I opted for The Coop and it was awesome. The bbq sauce on it was a touch sweet and the perfect compliment to the chicken and cheese. Chili fries were a great add-on. My wife got The Cadillac burger with a lamb patty and goat cheese. Staff was friendly and AC was cold. Definitely recommend this location or the ones in East Cobb and Roswell. read more

Very good! My daughter lives nearby and we were in search of a quick lunch spot with selections that fit our attempts at eating healthier. When you walk into Moxie Burger there are menus to peruse, and then you get in line to order. Once you pay, you're given a number for your table. Soft drinks are self serve. There's also a bar area with plenty of bar stools and some high tops along with the booths. Moxie Burger gives you the option to create your own burger (Angus beef, seasoned turkey, black bean, chicken) and also choose what surrounds it (want a leaf of lettuce instead of a bun? Done!) There are also signature burgers/sandwiches from which to choose. I was curious about the seasoned turkey, so built my own burger on Texas toast with lettuce, tomato and petal sauce (like a horseradish mayo) along with a small order of zucchini fries. My daughter ordered The Heater, a burger with plenty of spice, along with a side salad. Our burgers arrived superfast and were large, and the small side of zucchini fries was generous. I was very impressed with the seasoned turkey, and we were both very happy with the overall presentation and flavor of our burgers. Other than being a bit greasy when bit into, the zucchini fries had great flavor. These were served with a ranch-type dipping sauce. We may not have ended up eating much healthier ourselves, but at least you have that option here. It was a delicious lunch! The servers/food runners were friendly, and one even made suggestions to make The Heater more tasty with avocado and served up some slices that we both enjoyed. The Dirty Details: It was a bit pricey for lunch ($23 for both of us without the tip). If you use a card to pay, the screen will ask you for your tip amount. Because the food is brought to the table, a small tip may be in order depending on your experience, but I didn't necessarily like the idea of being asked for one BEFORE I got my food. Call me old fashioned, but tips are given for quality service, not just because someone takes your order. When the cashier charged me $2.50 for the fries i died a little inside because I'm not really a fan of paying for a burger, fries, and a drink all separate. When we got our food though, I forgot all about the price. There was more than enough fries to warrant the $2.50. They also had these cheese fries that came topped with jalapeños. I wanted to get it cause it looked so good, but didn't! I'm gonna have to come back and try it!
