They had a special on Double Cheese Burgers, and we added one Iced Caramel Mocha to our order. Had to do the ordering through a touchscreen. Coffee was good, and the burgers served the purpose of a quick bite. The restroom was clean, and so was the lobby. Customer service was not good. Probably one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to in my life. I've been to this location a few times and every time my order has been incorrect but this last visit was the last straw. Went through the drive-thru and had placed a mobile order (already paid for with a receipt) and the employee refused to give us our food even though it was not a customer issue but a system issue. On top of that the food we ended up getting after going inside was still wrong. Wouldn't recommend going to this location ever. The employees sucked and lacked professionalism. read more

The food was not cooked for whatsoever. The service is horrible. I ordered through Uber Eats and they forgot my sandwich and all of my utensils and all of my sauces that I paid for. I will never be shopping or buying anything from McDonald's and anytime soon Chick-fil-A for the win, the ambience of the food looked so nasty and looked so undercooked that the fries weren't even filled. The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I've tried it a few times and it's always pathetic. The staff hates their job. They are rude and mumble no eye contact and doesn't follow orders. This McDonald's, located at 645 Cobb Pkwy S near Kennesaw State's Marietta campus (formerly Southern Poly), and the McDonald's located at 778 Whitlock Ave, 4.3 miles west of the 645 Cobb Pkwy S location, were combined into the 778 Whitlock Ave listing: https://www.yelp.com/biz/mcdonalds-marietta-14. I have no idea why or how this happened or how to even begin submitting an "unmerge" request to Yelp HQ or Yelp moderators, so I'll just let the error stand. It's just McDonald's. As a result of the merge, the original listing for this McDonald's at 645 Cobb Pkwy S disappeared, so I created this new one. I discovered the mysterious disappearance when I tried to check in, but noticed the listing was gone. With that out of the way, not much has changed at this McDonald's over the years. This is an old school McDonald's that seems to have been "left behind" by newer McDonald's or older McDonald's that have been given fresh facelifts. If there exists a list of McDonald's stores that are in need of a renovation, this one should be near the top. This store looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90s or at the latest, the early 2000s. It's small and lacks the aesthetics and modernity of contemporary McDonald's stores. That said, this place still serves the same fast food I've been a fan of since I was a little kid. It's a guilty pleasure. On average, I think I swing by the drive-thru of this McDonald's once every three to four months and, more often than not, order a #1 Extra Value Meal: Big Mac, fries, and a fountain Coke for $5.99 ($6.35 after 6% Cobb County Tax). This classic American meal is almost always satisfying and leaves me craving more. The bun and special sauce make the Big Mac for me and the fries are unhealthily addictive. Absolutely worst McDonalds ever. Who is, where is the manager?....the adult leadership? It's apparent the personnel working there just flat don't care. We pulled up....only 2 cars in the drive thru lane in front of us....nice. We ordered and then we waited, waited, and waited. It took a full 18 minutes from ordering our food to receiving our meals. Our order: 1fish filet meal...no drink ( they were out of coke....ok, STRIKE 1), chicken sandwich meal with bacon, extra filet of fish sandwich and a small chocolate milkshake with NO whipped cream. After, 18 minutes.....our meal is provided. First thing out of the window is a chocolate shake WITH whipped cream......I handed it back, this problem was obviously not too much for her, the attendant just " SCOOPED" out the "MAJORITY " of the whipped cream with a spoon, added a bit more chocolate......voila....guess that was all solved. Hmmmm, not really, a lot of the whipped cream remained. I chose not to drink it. STRIKE 2. On the way home, my wife opened up the bag and started with the French fries.......normally for us McDonalds has the best fries.....way wrong in this case! Both French Fry orders were far undercooked, not a crispy fry to be had...STRIKE 3.....there's more.....disappointment.....the chicken sandwich with bacon as advertised as shown on the ordering board showed a chicken sandwich with bacon " for a limited time"......I distinctly ordered the sandwich "WITH BACON"........guess that limited time was no joke, because it obviously became unavailable from the time I ordered it to the time I was given the chicken sandwich........WITHOUT BACON......STRIKE 4...... Seriously.......was that why we waited the 18 minutes......they were busy undercooking the fries and not cooking the bacon? Please, there were no monstrous orders in front of us, the car in front of us left with only 2 medium sized drinks......2 drinks....obviously not cokes, and the truck in front of that car was handed only a small bag. So as a recap: NO COKE VERY UNDERCOOKED FRIES NO BACON ON THE " LIMITED TIME ONLY" CHICKEN SANDWICH WHIPPED CREAM ON THE SHAKE, THOUGH I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THAT IT NOTBE ADDED AND, I did try calling the Manager, a Manager as soon as I arrived home.....but, you know it.....no one bothered to answer. Do not eat at this location. Beware if you order cheesy jalepeno with no cheese specifically stating that you have lactose intolerance they will yell at you and tell you that you ordered wrong and you didn't tell their kitchen that you didn't say that you didn't want the melted cheese that's on the sandwich and you just said no cheese. Do I work at McDonald's? I know what's in your sandwich? Is melted cheese not cheese??? Man you kitchen and your Mexican girl manager needs to get basic training or look in a dictionary to see what the definition of cheese is. Ridiculous. Made my food wrong in the first person. I give one star because the workers are paid SO little that they refuse to treat the guest with any type of respect. They can't even get an order right. At most McDonald's you can have various size coffee's for a dollar bit of this location they charge you more! OK maybe I'm being really cheap but I drove off it's the principle of the matter. I know for a fact pick up the coffee table less than five cents so it pure profit so not sure why this owner operator is not doing what most of the McDonald's are doing but I'm not going to support it and that's my story and I'm sticking to it! read more

This is one of the worst locations there is. I love McDonald's and eat there 7-10 times a week. I love McDonald's. But this location really needs some help. This is literally the 5th time that my order has been wrong. I'm not even upset about the order being wrong. It's the lack of courtesy and recovery for their mistake. They react with attitude. I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese get home it's literally cold as outside and only meat and cheese. Not only that it's not even a quarter pounder with cheese it's a McDouble in a box. Get home see it come back. The manager looks at me as if I'm being a difficult. All I said is that this happens a lot to me. She looks at me and says. They can make you another one if you want. I tell her it was not complete and cold she then says did you pay with cash or card. Unbelievable. I hate to do this because this location is literally walking distance to my house. And I come here like I said 7-10 times a week. Now I know I won't be able to come back after this review. I don't leave many reviews but this location needs some training. OMGOODNESS!!!! Don't go here. I am surprised it is still open. I was in this morning at 5:43 AM. The ladies restroom was horrendous, urine on the seat, 1 toilet working with no tissue. The other one stopped up with feces and urine, smelling to high heavens. UUGGHHHH!!!!!!!!! Then I spoke with the manager and let her know that they could use some help and tissue in the working one and she just looked at me. Didn't even asked someone to place tissue in there. The parking lot was littered with garbage and the inside was just as bad. It was 5:43 AM and there were french fries thrown on the floor. I watched the manager even throw a banana peel in the garbage can that had been sitting at the bagging station the whole time I was there. They had a chick just standing around doing absolutely nothing but looking like she didn't have a clue in the world. I ordered food and the manager was unfriendly and didn't speak to me at all.
